A Two Daddy Romance.

Reese

God, I never meant to get pregnant--especially not to him. A cold, cruel, downright violent alpha? I never wanted that, but here I am broke, homeless and expecting this psychopath's baby.

It's pure dumb luck that my baby lands in the arms of a gorgeous and protective alpha doctor that seems to have an eye for me, too.

Is this what I want? Do I want to fall into the safety of Connor's embrace? Or should I run while I still have the chance--before my son's father finds us?

Connor

I've delivered thousands of babies. So why do I go all gooey when this little guy grabs my finger? Why do I find myself staying over his incubator as if I'm his guardian?

I never meant to find a mate. I'm married to my job--but this baby's daddy is the hottest omega I've ever seen in my life. There's no way I'll be able to keep a professional distance with these two.

Seems like they're both down on their luck, especially with a dangerous alpha lurking in their past. Maybe I can give them a hand up.

The steamy 50,000 word treat is just what the doctor ordered. Blossoming romance, hot sex scenes and mpreg lie ahead. This is for adults only, 18 and up please!

~2.5~

This isn’t a terrible book. I finished without skimming and enjoyed the hurt/comfort aspect. But I read this book yesterday and have already forgotten the main characters’ names (I remember the baby’s name, and I think the doctor was named Connor, but the baby daddy is a blur. I do know he needs to get on birth control STAT).

The world building was nonexistent. Was everyone a shifter? It seemed so because there was not one word about humans, but nothing was ever explained. And if the MCs shifted to give chase, why didn't the bad guys shift? Honestly, the shifter thing felt like an afterthought. An Alpha/omegaverse story sans shifting would have made more sense.

The relationship development was sorely lacking, and the move from patient/doctor to lovers happened very quickly.

I also could have done without the melodrama at the end. I saw it coming, and it was clearly added because the plot was paper thin, but it was way OTT.

3.5 stars.

This book was cute and fuzzy. I adored Reese and felt for him right from the beginning. He went through so much and he was just trying to survive.

The book could have been longer and the plot more detailed because while it ended well, there could have been a whole lot more world building.

Still, this book was pretty good.

I'm giving this a strong 3.5. It has a good premise and is reasonably well-written, but I think that there were a couple of places where it could've gone smoother, but overall, not bad.

Reese ended up pregnant by the wrong man. At the end of his pregnancy, when he's been hiding in his ex's apartment while the ex has been gone, the ex shows up and beats up another Omega. When he finds out that Reese is there and pregnant when his child, Reese has to run. While he's escaping, he goes into labor. When a nice older man decides to help him and take him to the hospital, they get in a car crash, so Sammy, Reese's baby comes into the world via c-section to a daddy who is in a coma.

Connor is the baby doc who delivered Sammy, and now he's madly in love with that tiny baby. He goes often to check on him. When he first sees Reese, he's madly attracted to him, but Connor has always been married to his job and never anything else. The question is going to be, can he stay that way or are the team of Sammy and Reese just too much to resist?

I think that Reese and Connor together are sweet. The story of their journey to become a family come hell or high water is great, and I loved seeing them both fall in love with that little boy and with each other.

Sweet

I wasn't sure how this insta-love story was going to be but I have to say it was a good book. There's a mix of emotions. You have fear, sorrow and of course love. Reese was down on his luck but also pregnant with a really bad alphas baby but was determined to make it better for the baby than he's had but things got twisted when the alpha, Bronson, finds Reese in his apartment and pregnant. Things become crazy and Reese tries to run away and ends up in the hospital. Connor is the baby doctor that saves Sammy but things begin to change in all directions.

I have been listening to a lot of mpreg books lately and this book seemed to bring a good book to add to my catalog. When I requested this book I have never heard of Preston Walker. I had no idea who this is individual was and what their writing style would be. I can honestly say that I still don't know what their writing style is only because I listen to this audiobook.

The audiobook made it seem as though the Alpha, Connor, was a bit simple. I understand that he is a doctor but the way the narrator brought his voice to life it made him seem a bit not Alpha, if that makes sense. I cannot seem to figure out if Connor is supposed to be from the south or if the narrator is just horrible with voices within this book.

Reese's voice on the other hand was just okay. There were times where I was into his voice and then the narrator decided to slow down and Reese became a bit high-strung. I don't know if Reese is supposed to be high but that is the impression that I got from the narrator.

In other reviews I mentioned how a narrator can make or break a book and in this case the narrator just made this book a bit eh to me.

The story was not a bad one. It was just a typical second-chance book. It isn't in my top five mpreg books but it wasn't the bottom five of my list of books either. I think if I read this book I would have a different opinion of this book but since I listened to it all I can hear is the voice of Connor in my head and that is throwing me completely off.

Maybe I will purchase the book and wait a couple months to read it to see if my opinion changes but currently the narrator made this book not the best.

Reese is unemployed and down on his luck since he got sacked for being pregnant and his roomies kicked him out because he has no money. On the run from his psychotic ex Bronson, he ends up in hospital after an accident and gives birth prematurely. Dr Connor McGrath is the one who delivered the baby and has become very attached to him, visiting him every day until Reese wakes up and comes up to NICU to meet his baby, now Connor is very taken with both baby and father and their emotional meeting stirs his heart. Connor helps him with the baby while they stay in the hospital and Reese seems as attracted as Connor does both feeling the pull between them which starts to turn into a secret yearning for both of them. Reese is discharged but baby Sammy has to stay a while longer. With nowhere to go Connor offers his spare room, ramping up the awkward sexual tension between them as they live together. Inevitability Reese and Connor can't fight their feelings any longer to be together. The psycho ex turns up in NICU while Reese is elsewhere having a check up but does a runner when Connor goes back to confront him. Finally baby Sammy can go home to his new nursery Connor kitted out for him but the moment is spoiled when Reese terrifyingly realises his very dangerous ex has been in the apartment but doesn't tell Connor, wanting to keep him safe and eternally grateful for everything he's done he sees the only option is to leave so Connor doesn't get murdered. Reese should of realised Bronson wouldn't give up so easily and pays the price for it but luckily Connor is already tracking him , but doesn't realise just how totally disgustingly sick Bronson truly is and they end up in a fight for their lives but love each other so much failure isn't an option. Bronson gets a fitting end leaving everyone free to have a future with an extra surprise. Short but emotionally packed. Enjoyable read. I received a free advanced copy of this book is exchange for an honest review.

Doctors Orders: A Two Daddies Romance

By: Preston Walker
Narrated by: Arthur J Hoyt

This is a great, imaginative and romantic story of 2 male shifters. In their world the male shifters are able to become pregnant and birth a child. Preston Walker’s storylines are interesting and well written. There is great character development and buildup in the relationship of the two leads, Reese and Connor. There is great chemistry between them too. This is my first Mpreg book and I loved it, there are some nice twists, lots of drama and some hot romance, Preston Walker, thank you for this great, enjoyable story!

I listened to the audible edition, Arthur J Hoyt does a wonderful job narrating the story and bringing the characters to life. He performs the voices of all the characters, switching back & forth effortlessly while keeping the story in a perfect flow. Thanks for the great listen!!

I chose this book on a whim out of over 9,000 owned ebook choices. Boy am I ever glad I did. I loved it so much I had to turn to off the story when I went up to bed because listening to the book on my Kindle was keeping me from falling asleep. It was so exciting! It was also a poignant, fast paced, drama filled, bucket of angst.

Preston knows how to hold your attention. I had to find out what happened next. If this book had ended in a cliff hanger I would've screamed! Most chapters were so action packed they were mini cliffhangers themselves. My emotions were all over the place depending on the characters' actions & behaviors. Sometimes I felt sad and other times overwhelmed from the tenderness shown to the premature baby.

If you enjoy the fantasy of love at first sight, this book had it. If a newborn turns you into a marshmallow - read this story. Seeing an Omega's strength & weakness get your motor running or an overprotective alpha striving to provide for his mate & "child". Experiencing a couple bonding over a tiny helpless, but cutie pie baby boy is so sweet.

Don't be fooled though. This book is peppered with violence. There is physical suffering and mental anguish. Brutish behavior and deliberately cruelty. But there is also a HEA, a mpreg, and a young man happy to follow "Doctor's orders"
especially in the bedroom. I've read so many non-shifter mpreg books lately that I forgot how much I enjoy those that actually contain Wolves & other shifters.

I loved this book. I will be reading it again. In the meantime I'm going to find another book by this author to enjoy next.

I prefer when the omegas are more wild, more independent, this is VERY omega. The story is not bad, rather cute with the baby but something more is missing for me :/

Reese, a heavily pregnant man sees something that he should not have seen, prompting him to run and get to safety. Although, unfortunately it is then that his baby decides to join the world. Reese receives the help of a stranger and gets into a car accident, once at the hospital, Reese, unconscious and in a coma, has a c-section and his baby is delivered. Connor, the man that delivered the baby, instantly falls in love with the child and is soon wrapped around his little fingers. After Reese wakes up, Connor falls in love with the baby's father as well. Connor and Reese, both being afraid to enter into a relationship, start to develop feelings for the other, and bond over their love for little Sammy. Unfortunate and scary events unfold before the three of them, and their relationship and balance gets rocked, forcing them to make difficult and hard decisions. Connor wasn't looking for a relationship or a family, but that is indeed what he needs and discovers that he loves having them.
I really enjoyed reading the book and I sympathized with the characters, especially Reese when he was forced to make a decision regarding the safety of his child versus the safety of the love of his life. I always appreciate books when the characters are well written, giving them the characteristics and feelings resembling those of real people. I am glad that I got the opportunity to read this book and am looking forward to reading more books by the author.

Reese finds himself without a job, homeless and pregnant from an Alpha who is a psychopath. After a horrific car accident, he finds himself in the hospital and in a coma. When Reese wakes up he is no longer pregnant and his baby is in the NICU.

Connor is a doctor who has delivered his fair share of babies. He can't explain the pull he has to this one particular little baby in the incubator. One day when he checks on the little guy, the baby grabs his finger and Connor realizes he is a goner. There is no doubt in his mind that he was meant to meet this baby and that he was brought into his life to protect him.

That all becomes even more obvious when he meets the baby's Omega father, Reese. There is no question that Reese is the most gorgeous Omega Connor has ever seen. Almost immediately after meeting Reese, Connor feels the same protectiveness towards him that he does the baby. Connor never thought he would want a mate because he is the first to admit that he is married to his job. But along comes Connor and his precious little boy to make Connor rethink everything. And with Reese's psychopathic ex sniffing around the hospital, Connor knows he has to protect them both.

What a great read. From beginning to end this book had my attention. There was everything I like in a book from mystery, intrigue, romance and a little bit of danger thrown in. I love Connor and Reese together. They fit perfectly and Connor's instant love for the baby just made it that much sweeter. Such a fantastic read.

i read this book as part of an arc program. I loved this story. I loved how Connor was so smitten with baby Sammy. When Reese was in labor, he was in a bad car accident and Connor was the doctor who delivered Sammy. Reese was in a coma and Connor was drawn to the baby and couldn't help getting attached to him. When Reese woke up, Connor was instantly attracted to him and wanted to spend as much time with him as he could. Reese and Connor grew close while Connor was teaching Reese how to care for the baby and when Reese was released from the hospital, Connor told him he could stay with him. Reese was grateful to Connor because he didn't have a place to stay and he was hiding from his ex, Sammy's father, who was a very bad guy. When his ex finds him, Reese knows he will stop at nothing to get Sammy, so Reese thinks the only thing to do is run. Connor returns to find Reese and Sammy gone and he vows to get his family back, no matter what. I love this story. I love how much Reese and Connor loved each other. I thought they were great together and had amazing chemistry. I love how Sammy brought them together. This was one of the best shifter stories i have read in a while. Good one.

Excellent book! Loved the two main character, but Bronson got what he deserved in the end.

Reese an omega seems to chose the worse men to date and his last on of six weeks got him pregnant. Bronson's a bad man all around. An abusive man and definately a psyochpath learns Reese is having his child and wants it by all means necessary. Reese is terrifed by the man and has every right to be.

Reese runs as soon as Bronson showed up at his place. The stress that Reese was under and running away caused him to go into labor early. Lucky a nice man helps Reese putting him in his car to rush him to the hospital only to have a car accident along the way.

Doctor Connor was the man who delivered the premie baby and Reese is in a coma. Reese's baby pulled Connor's heart strings like no other baby had. When Reese awakes from his coma and the two men meet, neither excepted the other to be so gorgeous and have a kind heart, kindred spirits.

The growing love between the two men is precious, and the action of Bronson coming back into Reeses life is terrifing.

Doctor's Orders is so cute it was a little hard to put it down when you get started and you read it so fast then you are at the end of the story and you think there has to be more of this story and I also think I can't wait to read more of your stories. That is what i think when I get to the end of your stories and that is how good and amazing I think your stories are. I am glad that the characters in this story have a happy ending. I think the end of the story is cute but I would have liked to read more about what happened with the new baby and Sammy's reaction to the baby was and what he might look like. I also would have liked to read more about both of their families. But that is just me I like long stories. You did an amazing job with writing this story and I can't wait to read more of your stories. Keep up the great work and I hope you guys will read and enjoy reading it as much as I did. I love your stories.

This is such a sweet story about an omega,Reese, who is pregnant by the most despicable alpha, Bronson imaginable. He;s had no where to stay for months until he learns his ex went on the lam out of Chicago. So he goes to the apartment to stay. Then one night his ex returns and when he sees Reese is pregnant, he tells him he;s going to keep the baby. So Reese runs and winds up outside a liquor store where he goes into labour,. A guy comes out and offers to get him to the hospital. But on the way there, they;re involved in a head on accident. There Dr Connor delivers the baby and for some odd reason he becomes attached to the little baby Doe. Four days later Reese comes out of his coma and meets Connor. Both think the other is handsome and feel a draw. But poor Reese is so confused and still scared. Connor helps him alot. Then one day the unthinkable happens, Bronson shows up in the ICU for babies.
Such a beautiful story of two men, and alpha and an omega come to be together.

Reese had lost his job because he was pregnant then was thrown out by his flatmate because he lost his job and is out on the streets. He hears his dangerous ex has left town for a while and as he has a key he camps out there but he run when Bronson comes back. Rushing along the street he collapses and a kindly passerby puts him in his car to take to the hospital then their car was hit by a drunk driver. Connor is fascinated by the baby he delivered by c-section from a crash victim who had multiple injuries and been in a coma for several days. He feels connected to him and when his father comes to see him he feels the same connection to him. Then Bronson appears at the hospital. A MM MPreg romance to relax and enjoy.

What an intense book!

This book was wildly intense from the moment you meet Reese to how it ended. But my God did I loved it so freaking much!

Character breakdown:

Reese: I sympathized with him being down on your luck is bad enough add on to the fact that you are pregnant? Never easy. But Reese also made me mad his decision making wasn't the best and his quick actions were too irrational. Despite that Reese was a great character flaws and all.

Connor; a man who falls for a baby that isn't his or one he didn't know well enough. Then falls for the father and without thinking it too much about it. And the way he protected and cared for Reese and his son was admirable. It was adorable to see him scrambling like he was for his children like the excited dad he was.

The book was intense emotional but so adorable, worth it every page your read!

A Better Life

I voluntarily received an advanced copy of this book and will say it is truly worth reading.

Reese is an omega that has a tendency to be with bad boys. But getting with Bronson may be his worst mistake ever. Pregnant and homeless he sneaks back into Bronson's apartment hoping he won't return until he's gone. But no such luck. Witnessing Bronson beating an omega makes it very clear he'll do the same to him. So he runs away only he's goes into labor.

Connor loves being a baby doctor but the baby doe who's father is in a coma has attached himself to the doctor. He finds himself visiting the little guy daily. When he finally meets the father he is immediately in protective mode for both of them.

But Bronson isn't out of the picture and has plans for this child of his.

Will there be a happy ending? Maybe but of course they have to fight for it.

Great read again. I really like a good werewolf story, specifically with love involved.
Actually I am not much into m/m love, but some how this writer makes it work for me. Like the stories a lot.

Reese needed some fun during a dark period in his life, but he never had the intention to get pregnant. next he finds out the daddy is evil and not only a bad boy like he thought. He tries to run and at the moment the baby decides to come. Bringing him in the path of Connor.

Connor is a doctor and an alpha, but he likes the be alone. Or so he thought, the little baby and Reese do something to his heart.
But of course it is not all smoothly going with an evil ex wanting the baby too.

If you are into werewolves and M/M romance with some action this is great read.

The story is about Reese and Connor. They meet in an very unique situation. Reese is a pregnant omega involved in a terrible car accident. Connor is an alpha and the doctor responsible for helping the premature baby.
Connor falls in love with the baby and shortly after with the baby`s father. He changes his life to have Reese and Sammy. Simply adorable!! But they still need to deal with Bronson, Reese`s ex and Sammy`s father.
Connor, Reese and Sammy are great together. I really like the way they manage their attraction, bonding and love.
But Reese disappointed me. He didn`t believe their love could overcome the difficulties and things got uglier.

4.75 stars. Reese made the mistake of hooking up with a 'bad boy' only to figure out that he's much worse. Pregnant, homeless and on the run he ends up at the hospital. I liked that despite his lack of self-esteem he's determined to give his son the best life he can. Connor has spent his life in a vacuum of work. Then there is Sammy, making him feel things and wish for a family. Once he sets eyes on Reese he's lost. Reese and Sammy are worth everything to him. He more than proves himself when Reese's ex shows up to threaten his family. Lovely ending.

Audiobook: The narrator was enjoyable. He did lose his accent he'd been using for Connor in the last few chapters. I liked his voice for Reese and would happily listen to him again.

Wow another fantastic read by Preston Walker I love his books and I’m a really big fan. Reese was abused mentally and physically by his alpha and he ends up getting pregnant so he runs away from the psycho. Reese ends up in an accident and he goes into early labour. Connor is a neonatal Doctor he looks after premature babies and he’s in charge of Reese’s son Sammy and he fell in love with the little boy and eventually his father. This is a wonderful story and it wouldn’t be complete without the bad guy Bronson and Preston knows how to write the bad guys so well. A fantastic read and it deserves more than a 5 plus ⭐️ rating, I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I so loved this book!

I absolutely love mpreg books and this one is definitely a great one to read.

The Alpha / Omega dynamic is always intriguing. Each author has there own ideas of how they blend into a mated pair. Preston Walker is definitely a favorite of mine.

In this story the Omega is definitely in a bad place with a horrible excuse of an alpha when he is pushed into a safe place and meets his dream Alpha.

As these mates work their way into a real trusting relationship. Past problems and fears work there way into there relationship. The way the pull together is what makes this story an absolutely great read!

Way to go Preston Walker. I loved this story, so much heart felt emotions and mates that are meant to be plus the edge of danger to bring out the hero alpha we all love. Poor Reese, pregnant and alone, thankfully the abusive alpha sperm donor is gone, and that is good. Reese will find a way. Conner, gorgeous alpha, doctor and ready and willing to help Reese and the new baby. Life is perfect until Reeses's ex show up. This book is amazing and just keeps your attention throughout.

The idea of the story was a cute one but there were various moments when the situation was a little unclear, as in the start, about how Reese survived on his ex place, and with which money? Then, the whole alpha-beta-omega and shifter thing was just trown out and forgot, as when the ex could know about the pregnancy before the father just because him was a litttle distracted by his happy life and family? And the pack/family thing was not explained down, first it was treated as sinominous then there is a mention of a real pack.

Who can say no to a sexy doctor? This is a MM pregnancy so if that is not your things then I don’t recommend this book but if your looking for something new give it a go it’s a great read. He is pregnant and on the run form the alpha he made him pregnant when he ends up in a crash. While he is recovering he get to know the doc and they have a beautiful romance. The doc is taken with him and his baby the moment he sets eyes on them. Great non stop action.

Overall this was a good read. Reese is down on his luck after losing his job for being pregnant. He is on the run from his abusive ex, when an accident lands him at the hospital with Connor helping him give birth. Connor wants to protect both Reese and his baby from the abusive alpha from Reese past.

I enjoyed the story overall, there were a few spots that could have been smoothed over and explained a bit better in my opinion but a good premise and good characters.

Well I started reading this book and realised it was not what I expected. It was good enough to keep me reading though. This is a M/M book about shifters. Reese living life ruff after he finds out hes pregnant (still confused as to how this works) a bad event lead him to meeting the hot dotor Connon. Things are going well then someone from Reese's past come onto the scene... I normally dont like M/M book but yep couldbt put this one down. No matter how confused I got.
