A Seeker with one desire. A Goddess who safeguards an ancient curse. Sometimes even love cannot save a dark soul.

Vassago is a Seeker haunted by his dark soul, making him dangerous and mysterious to everyone around him—except Lore. Lore is a goddess who wards an ancient curse. She and Vassago have shared a connection for centuries, but he has always chosen his oaths to the Circles above all else, especially her.

Hope Annandale barely managed to survive the Circles, only to end up back at Shadowbrook—alone and afraid—with no memory of the Circles, or Stone. With Hope safe, Stone can take his rightful place by his father’s side, as Prince Stolas.

Torn between duty and love, Vassago and Stone will be forced to decide where their loyalties lie, and what they will fight for—love or honor. It will take an ancient curse, and a vow that can’t easily be broken, to prevent a war—a battle for revenge and redemption that will ultimately decide the fate of the dark souls’ hearts.

In this second installment of the Dark Souls Series, fate curses the brothers, and they must navigate ancient deceits and potent forewarnings to save the ones they love. Can the two enemies become each other’s saviors? Or will the Circles fall and love fade?

Vassago is the second novel in the Dark Soul series, and is a riveting tale of passion, danger, and forbidden love. Intended for mature readers 18+ due to language, violence, sexual situations, and dark themes.

Really Good

I kept thinking through this story about that old saying, "Oh what wicked webs we weave, when first we practice to deceive". That sums this book up perfectly. What a damn mess. Can't wait for Lev and Avi's book, and to see how the rest of this plays out. I'm hoping the Aztec pantheon keeps it's word.

Love will make you go to the ends of the earth to protect the ones that you love. Hope is strong and willful. She loves with a fierceness that few are ever blessed with. With Vassago and Stone my head was in a tizzy! Two brothers that had to literally go through hell to have their chosen . This is not your sweet love story. This was no holds barred ,raw, by any means necessary kind of love story. They each held an immense weight on their shoulders. Stolas, Hope, Vassago and Lore each had a destiny and duty to fulfill. It was mind blowing reading the turn of events that had me completely freaking out! Her writing draws you in with such strong emotions!

Another great read. Cannot wait for final book. The odd spelling errors or incorrect words in both books. Secrets and deceit always a great combination.

A masterpiece series! Angels, gods, Demons and Lucifer himself

This is such a good series! It demands your attention and I willingly give it. Is so good. I couldn’t put the book down. It picks up right after book one: Stolas, Must read book one to understand this freaking hellish world lol. Last we saw Stolas left Hope whom he loves and wiped her memory clean from ever remembering him or the others. He is trying to protect her from his father Lucifer from finding her. We get a glimpse of Vassago’s past and how he gave up on love as well for Lore. Demons can’t never Love, is the most absolute rule in the underworld directed from Lucifer. It had 4 different POV’S: Vassago, Stolas, Hope and Lore. This book is heart wrenching and so beautiful. I love the characters so much. All the struggles, love and devotion they show just to protect the ones they love and the consequences they face had me crying. Every moment they spend apart or together had me swooning or crying. Every humor from Lev and Adi had me giggling. Sacrifices were made…and still must be made and the cost is significant. Hope, Stolas, Vassago and Lore are risking everything to be together and somehow master a plan…but in the end Lucifer’s finds out everything and now everyone is in danger. Is not just their lives at stake but the power to control the underworld and so much more! Gods and Angels are all in this! It will be a battle against the biggest most powerful demon alive: Lucifer. To bring him down is almost suicide. I’m so scared. I love the characters so much but nobody is safe!! Randi you are killing me. MUST read!!! It’s so addicting!

Vassago is book 2 in the Dark Soul trilogy and book 1 - Stolas must be read first as it picks up right where Stolas left off. What a great book! I rarely leave 5 star reviews, but Vassago deserves it.

Vassago, the demon, half-human prince of hell and a seeker has been trained by Lucifer to lose all traces of human emotions. He cannot afford to love Lore, the Aztec goddess, because to do so may mean her torture and death. While this book is titled Vassago and is about Lore and Vassago's journey, it is also a continuation of Stolas' and Hope's story. The book is told equally from 4 POVs- Vassago, Lore, Hope, and Stolas.

Right from the first page I was drawn right in and I didn't want to put the book down. Randi Cooley Wilson does an amazing job in her world building and in character development. During this book, she continues to build on and expand on what happened in Stolas. We see Stolas/Stone struggling to do what he believes is right and Hope trying to claw her way back into reality and back to Stolas. Destinies are revealed and there are lots of twists and turns. There is drama, feelings of betrayal, as well as love. I was sad and frustrated when it ended, because the book 3 isn't out yet!

Vassago picks up beautifully right after Stolas ends, if you haven't read Stolas first then I suggest you buy that one before reading Vassago. Hope and Stone's story continues in Vassago, but I love how you get the background story between Vassago and Lore. You also see how they affect each other, along with the lengths that they go through to protect each other. The sacrifices in this book are so heart wrenching, and you're left hoping for something good to happen. But then you're reminded that this is a story about demons and how love isn't welcomed in the Circles.

I was truly looking forward to this one and I was not disappointed. Seeing these characters grow as much as they did was truly satisfying. Hope is truly a catalyst for all events and changes seen in these series. Through her torment, her strength still shines through and motivates others to follow through on things they never thought possible.

This book is dark, with strong topics and some light moments but it truly is a beauty to read. Great follow up to Stolas. Well done Randi! I can't wait for the third book!

Amazing and tortured

Randi effortlessly, it seems, continues her Lost Souls series and unimaginably surpasses the first installment in emotion, pure angst, and character development. I was immediately transported into this realm on the very first page and riveted firmly to my seat. I didn't fully grasp the full import of the first few pages until I had finished the very last. Randi truly is a master storyteller. Although I wanted to cry and scream at the end of this installment, Randi remained true to this universe she created. The characters are complex and flawed. The story moved at a very steady pace. Every detail in the book is intentional and important. This emotionally exhausting journey is one I will gladly embark on very soon...equipped with tissues and wine next time.

Need more!

Wow, I didn't see any of that coming. As much as I love the story and it's intricate characters, I'm rather disappointed in them. I get that each of them is doing what they do for love, but they are going about it the wrong way. They're wrecking their relationships with one another and they don't have any trust in their partners. I really liked the four points of view this book offers. You get into the mindset of not only Stone and Hope, but also Vassago and Lore as well. I get the feeling that this series is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better. In any case, it's still a fantastic series. I'm looking forward to the next book and what comes next.

Vassago has more of a front stage placement in this than the first one, and you get to find out more about how everything led up to where it is. Hope is still struggling with reality, but with a little help from her friends, she is able to pull the veil out from over her eyes and see things as they are. Stolas is a little stuck. He is determined to keep Hope away from him to protect her, but she is determined not to let him. You have to read it to find out what happens!! I give this 5 stars and two thumbs up!! Definitely a very good read.

I loved this book. Although not as much as the first one. I surprised even myself how much I loved Vassago by the end. I didn’t think he’s ever be my favorite. I lost a little love for Stolas in this one as he continues to break Hope’s heart. And when he’s not doing that, he’s asserting his power over her and trying to put her in her place. He had to keep his demon from killing her? Are you joking!? His demon shld be protecting her with all he’s got!! Of course there are sweet moments between them too. But Vassago really takes the cake on that in this one. I loved some of his and Lore’s tender moments.
Docking a star for Stolas’s assholeness and because there were a handful of things I didn’t understand in this one. Random characters or schemes that the author threw in to turn the plot and I’m not sure they all worked smoothly.

Wow just wow. I'm pretty sure I'll be recovering from this book for a while. Randi Cooley Wilson does an amazing job at telling a story that sucks you in. I could not put this book down. Vassago, much like Stolas, gave me all kinds of feels throughout. Be prepared for a rollercoaster ride of emotions followed by the realization it's over until the next one. Well worth the book hangover I'm currently suffering through!

Oh my demons! Awesome read! In book 1, Stolas, of the Dark Soul Series I was not fond of Vassago. After reading his book, I really like him. He isn't my favorite demon, but there is more than meets the eye with him. I love how Lore puts him in his place a time or two. She is a fierce woman. A perfect match for Vassago.
Randi has written another amazing book. I didn't see the ending coming. It is jaw dropping!!
If you haven't read Vassago, I highly recommend it.

Wowzza! What a book. It totally sucks you in. You swept away into this world with stolas. You see the struggle with each one of his trusted protectors, each have their own story in which why they're connected to each other. But oh the feels for stolas and the Oracle! I just dont know how I can wait for the next books!

Amazing

I have read every book by RCW.... and this book did not disappoint like the other books by her. I loved she created FIERCE lead female characters that stood up to their men and took matters into their own hands, they were not weak... I love the interactions between the mated Vassiago and Lore and Hope and Stone.... Lev is hilarious and I can't wait for his book

I loved every moment of this book. It truly is a dark, intense, masterpiece and great follow up to Stolas.

Hope is a force to be reckoned with and she's the catalyst for many of the changes we see in each and every character in this series. It is truly shown that even in darkess, strength can arise and lead you to where you need to be.

Highly recommend.

Oh my Demons...

This book grabbed my attention from the start and didn't let me go until it was over. My hands were shaking at the end, I kept wanting to turn the page for more. Vassago is a everything you want in a story. It's sexy, thrilling, leaves you anxious with every chapter and makes you love the bad guys. I need more!

Where loyalties lie

From the title I thought this was going to be mainly about Vassago. I was happy that not only was Vassago's POV a part of this story but Hope's, Stolas ', and Lore's. This was fast paced, filled with treachery, sacrifices, love, and punishments. I can't wait for the next book!

This book was filled with passion, romance, suspense, and such heartbreak. The characters are so strong and loyal to each other. I liked how it was from every character's POV. that was different but so needed. Can't wait to read The conc!usion!!!

It's probably just me, but I had a difficult time following everything in this one. Also, not a fan of POV changes in a story when the main characters' story isn't finished =/ Anyway, what I did catch was good.

3.9 I didn't connect with Vassago And Lore as much as I did with Hope and Stolas, but I feel like the plot was much better and progressed in a more interesting way than the last book did.
