I remember this series. I think Inread Zane's story first and I have a good time listening to the audiobook. Miss Edwards knows how to spice up her military romance.

Redeeming Violet is sadly below what I expected. The plot is flat. I want more sexy banter between Jax and Violet. More sexy time more vulnerable moments.
The attraction between Jax and Violet feels flat for me.

Overall I do not hate nor like this book.

Wow! This book was awesome. The author did a wonderful job of including Susan Stoker's Characters. Susan and her fans will be proud. I would hurry up and buy this book while you can. It would be a true crime to miss out on this one. Get ready for a thrilling ride. I read this book in one day it was that good. It deals with treason.drug dealers, kidnapping, terrorists, human trafficking, honor, family, love, secrets and death. Get out your tissues. Violet and Jason make the oddest couple. She has committed treason while he will do anything to protect his country. How they manage to work out the differences between them is amazing. How she manages to win the respect of the teams and get her redemption is a great story. This book left me wanting more from this story line.

I love this book! No, I mean I really LOVE this book.
Violet is one of those characters that makes you want to strangle her in the beginning. As everything starts to unravel around her and the truth starts to come to light, you can't help but feel for her.
Jaxxon is an alpha all the way. I mean ALL the way! He is as honest as the day is long, and struggles to understand Violets actions.
When these two meet, you know sparks will fly-things will burn, and boy do they burn. They say actions speak louder than words, but will they, when betrayals and secrets are revealed ??
A must read for any black ops fans!!

Loved It

Loved loved loved it - Violet turns to Zane and his team after she betrays her country before she can turn herself in she needs one more thing and she hopes they'll help her get it, only she doesn't plan on meeting the one man that'll turn her world on its axis and that's exactly what Jaxon does.

Surprised

I'm not usually a fan of fan fiction. I am always disappointed that the fan author isn't as good as the original series. However, Riley Edwards does not disappoint. These books have been as good as any I've read in Stoker-ville or otherwise. These books could stand alone without Operation Alpha influence and still be great.

In Redeeming Violet Riley Edwards has written the quintessential kick ass take names and put the bad guys in jail book and done it in her own amazing way. I could not put this book down. Jason and Violet...Omg they are truly perfect for each other. This book is an adrenaline filled thrill ride of terrorists, human trafficking, drug dealers, and treason juxtaposed with loyalty, Brotherhood, duty, Love and family. You never know how you will react to something until you are tested and Violet was truly tested and by many found wanting. I will give no spoilers but I will say she found herself between a rock and a hardplace and she did what she thought was right. Edwards writes with crisp and clear characters that are detailed and complex to give great weight to her story. Her secondary characters are full fledged and it was fun to get a glimpse of my favorite team Wolf, Cookie, Dude, Tex and the others. This book is a great addition to Susan Stoker's Kindle World and done with great finesse by Edwards. Do not miss this book or you will miss a great story.

She’s no wilting Violet🌷

Violet approaches Zane at his house, as she’s in fear for her life. Unfortunately, it turns out she’s the CIA mole they’ve all been looking for😳 Now, she has to explain why she needs their help and why she did what she did❣️

Violet and Jaxon have a combustive chemistry from the word go and are definitely a couple I was looking forward to reading😍 The final few chapters have me balling and looking for tissues as it was a bittersweet ending😭 I’m looking forward to see what Riley has in store for Zane next❤️

Probably the best of this series

I made the mistake of reading the Gold series before this one. The gold team series has so much more action. It's probably like comparing the smallest of the Great Lakes to the Pacific Ocean. The team in that series takes down major organizations. The team in this series takes out a few bad guys here and there for typically just a top bad guy and a handful of his men and the top bad guys are of much smaller organizations. Reference lake vs ocean simile. This one has the most action but only by a little bit and has the biggest global ramifications. Plus, this book brings us Declan, who is the gold team lead. The red team, the team in this series, is supposed to be the top tier team but the gold team didn't exist at that point. After reading those stories where the women are more bada$$ than all of the women in this series other than Jasmin and Violet to some extent, this series is a bit lackluster. If I had read this series first, I would have really enjoyed it more.

Violet really is a great heroine. Jaxon is good, too, but I doubt he's anyone's favorite book boyfriend in the Operation Alpha world as written by Riley Edwards. I have not read any of the books by the different authors. My favorite is probably Lincoln or Brooks. Definitely Lincoln in this series. I have not read Colin and Erin's story yet but I don't think it will change my,mind about liking Lincoln best. Maybe it will have more action and I will update this review.

I still recommend the series but definitely read it first. And then probably take a break and read a different kind of romance before reading the gold team series.

This series has lots of profanity and graphic sex scenes. The author warns you. Don't complain. If you don't like those things, don't read the books.

What drama, fear, death, trust, brotherhood, love, protection, sadness, revenge, redemption. Riley brings the deep, caring, intense lives of her characters forward to become live before your eyes. Eric’s sacrifice was unexpected and a shock. Jaxon had a solid upbringing with mom and brother. Violet on the other had lost her parents, brothers connection due to foster care and adoption. The CIA is a deceptive, traitor and a treason field of agents. Violet made choices that as a CIA operative were treason because of blackmail. She came to the red team to warn them about an ambush on Wolf’s team. No one believes her or trusts her, but Tex confirms the issue. Violet now is the target to be sold to the highest bidder. Jax is to protect her. The closeness and danger bring these two closer. So much intertwined. Will she be pardoned, go to jail, win Jax, save her brother or end up in trafficking? Read on. Too much to write a short review. Exciting well done Riley.

another amazing story

Talk about needing redemption! Violet appears to be a first class traitor but is everything as it appears? Jax is annoyed to find himself physically attracted to her and in guarding her and getting to know her better it only deepens. I won’t give away any of the complex plot but it was great to see Tex and Wolf and his team from Susan Stoker’s world.
This is a highly emotional story and I have laughed and sobbed. I advise tissues. Excellent, really enjoyed it.

Idk if my mood has changed or what but I just couldn’t finish this book. It started off well enough and continued the story line from the last book which I enjoyed, but I just completely lost interest in it. I put it away for a bit and read some other thing, but I have no desire to pick it back up. I may try again in the future, but for now I’m gonna move on.

Oh my word! I was on the hunt for something different and that is what I found with Riley's books.
To say I am in love with this series and all her other works is an understatement.

I have binged on each and everyone of her books and love each and everyone.

Hot, steamy, sexy, sizzling with hot alpha males. I am in heaven.

Violet found herself in a big fat mess. All because the CIS didn't train her to be an agent. All she was a behavior analyst. Violet is also very good with the computer and hacking. So, when she found out that Olivia had been taken she sent Zane and his team in to get her out of there. Violet also sent the record phone to the leader of the cartel that contacted Zane and his team and there they found out the truth of who had taken Olivia and why the other hacker was killed.

Awhile later Violet thought she was being followed by a Chinse spy. Violet decided to go to the one person that she could trust and that was Zane Lewis. Once she had gotten to Zane's house he was madder than hell, because she had gotten passed all of the security. Zane said to one of his people that he should have instead his own security system for the building. Violet told the men that Wolf and his team were in danger and that she needed something out of the drone that they were using. So, Zane and most of his team went to Africa to save Wolf and his team. While there Violet saved Nightstalker life. The teams also learned that Ortega was going to sell the list of names that he had and he planed on selling Violet herself.

There is a lot of action and adventure in this book. Such a great read. On to the next. Can't wait to see what comes next?!

This series gets better as it goes along.

I like how the author has a realistic touch to the military aspect of this series. Kudos!

Jaxon was straightforward and a true man of his word.

Violet? UGH! I can't be the only one who is sick and tired of females being written to be whiplash experts. The constant "I have feelings for him. I want to **** him, he's everything" only to turn around the next minute to be, "It didn't mean anything to him (HE never said that), it was only a one-time thing because I didn't talk about my feelings so therefore he has to feel the way my brain is going, I'm so bad@$$, I'm so tough but I buckle at the first turn of events that would cause a serious commitment to NOT JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS!" I mean, WTH????

Violet was a great character when she wasn't making crap up in her head and then running with it and saying some pretty nasty things to the ONE GUY that had her back the whole time. Like, REALLY???? Okay...she had a good heart and she sought to make peace with the things she had done wrong. There, I found something good to say about her.

This is a good series...it's just the typical FMC BS that appears to come from every author these days that gets under my skin. Again...HUGE kudos to Riley Edwards for how she writes the military scenes.

Jaxon and Violet

When I picked this book up I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Violet. In the last book she was the traitor, the villain, and I didn’t know how that would play out. I was pleasantly surprised by the way everything played out. Violet had reasons for what she did and they were surprisingly honorable.

I loved the connection Jaxon felt with Violet, and I loved that he felt so conflicted about it. Jaxon saw the world in black and white and to understand Violet he had to delve into a world that included shades of grey. Each time Violet proved her strength and conviction in her actions, Jaxon fell more for her. Eventually he was sticking his neck out to protect Violet without even realizing he was doing it.

I ended up loving this story. It was full of action and twists. It was a story of redemption for Violet but also a story about a heroine who was willing to sacrifice herself for the greater good, and even for people who hadn’t given her a fair shot. Despite my hesitation at the beginning, I loved Violet. And Jaxon was the perfect man for her. His silent strength gave her the courage to continue to stay strong in her convictions and face down countless alpha males who didn’t want to understand her.

Another amazing installment in this series, brought to life brilliantly by Carly Robins and Jason Clarke, who are bringing this series to life in the most amazing way.

Whilst difficult from the get go, this book travels through the rollercoaster of feelings of everyone in the team. Opinions, thoughts and actions are diverse and split for a lot of this book and Violet manages to, despite all initial indications, redeem herself in the eyes of everyone in the team, as well as pull in Blue/Jaxon who just can’t seem to hate her as much as he thinks he should. Violet is performed perfectly by Carly, who brings out the strength yet vulnerability of Violet so wonderfully.

Jaxon falls hard, and whilst he battles hard against it, the commando Cupid himself, in his own inimitable style narrows the fracture between them and allows Jaxon the space and freedom to feel. Jaxon’s fall into love with Violet is so hard fought, his reservations in his head vs his heart demanding he save her is a perfect balance when performed by Jason Clarke.

One of my toughest yet favourite books of this series

Danger, suspense, highly emotional

Redeeming Violet, the third book in Riley Edwards' Red Team is a well written military romance with a riot of emotions. To say this one engaged me emotionally would be putting it mildly. The plot with Jaxon and Violet is highly intriguing and fraught with danger that showcases all the alphas of the Red Team along with some others from previous books as well. Great demonstrations of brotherhood at its best in a variety of ways; help and support namely comes when needed as well as when asked for.
I really enjoyed this book and all of the extra "stuff" taking place with new characters and an unexpected twist toward the end. For me, this unexpected twist was a real tear jerker, very emotionally written and conveyed the situation realistically with regard to the tough alpha warriors.
Throughout it all, despite the negative self-talk by both Jaxon and Violet, all is well in the end, a HEA in the works. Best of all, another story is waiting to be devoured!

A Review of Redeeming Violet by Riley Edwards

Jaxson and Violet - 5++ Stars

I was very happy to get to read this next book in Susan Stoker's Kindle World by Ms. Edwards. I already knew a lot of the players from Leo and Olivia's book, and I appreciated how this author keeps the characters in both books the same without making you feel like you don't know the secondary characters like you thought you did. We get to see Leo and Olivia a little bit in this book, but there were also a lot of the characters we saw in their book that we get to learn more about in this one. I hope that Ms. Edwards will be writing more books with these characters. Make sure you pick it up as soon as you can. There were a lot of twists and turns and I shed quite a few tears for the last couple of chapters, but oh how much I loved the feelings that they were able to pull from me.

This is a stand-alone outing, though many references (explained here) occurred in Protecting Olivia. The team traced the treacherous leaks to CIA Analyst and Violet Myers and though terrified, she contacts ex-SEAL Jaxon ‘Blue’ Cain at his home because she has more information to share.

Against their determined opinions the team listens to what Violet has to say but for Jaxon, it goes further as his emotions are immediately involved. After discovering the mastermind and digging deeper, the team identifies the actual target.

Though a good, easy to invest in read, this reader despises a heroine so clueless she has to follow people to work while having a huge ‘everybody welcome’ pity party and moaning about everything being her fault. Also, the racial stereotypical slur wasn’t good.

Violet Myers has a good reason for her treachery, what can one say when confronted with this same situation. She thought what she did was to save many lives and sacrificing her own.
As usual in a book or life things do not go as planed, discovering another team is in danger, (Wolf's team), she seeks help from the red team.
Do they believe her, no, yet little by little the story emerges and confirmed by Tex (you have to love this man)
Jaxon aka Blue is tasked with watching her and she wants to convince him she is telling the truth.
If things get harder trust me they do, they discover why she is wanted,k and Violet discovers that everything was not what it seemed, she was the target to hurt her twin brother. Other delightful surprises await you, great book, fantastic story and oh its a tear jerker in the end. .

Once again, I finished this Riley Edwards book in tears but with a smile. It was so well written that I couldn’t put it down. I was in the midst of the Red Team’s world.

I was hooked on this book from the very first page. Chief Tecumseh’s words drew me in and touched my heart.

The first few pages made me wonder how in the world Violet could ever redeem herself to the reader. Was there a way that a traitor to our country could ever be loved and adored.

Wow! The rest of the story began coming at me like a snowball on a mountain. What starts small ends up huge and crushing.

The end devastated me. Of course the road to the end made my heart sing!

After being disappointed with the book before this one in the series, I’m happy to say that five stars have been earned again! I loved it!

Wow

Just wow. No words. Loved the story. Jaxon and violet were drawn to one another despite the shit storm around them. They didn’t trust her and she fought at every turn to explain her actions. She didn’t want them on her side but to just understand the why. And honestly military operate on sacrificing the fee for the many. She was trying to save over a hundred people. Yes she put people in danger but made sure they got help(Olivia). Loved how she kept saving Jas. And omg yay for Jas and linc. We knew because of the ending only their book. But the build up to it is still important. Loved learning about Declan and meeting him since I started with the gold series first before red. Omg I was in tears over the ending. Loved Zane and violet standing up for Eric. Cried tears of respect and sadness about those who sacrificed for our freedoms. Can’t wait for zanes book.

It was okay. Bit of a silly plot again though.

In Olivia and Leo’s book they are searching for a woman traitor who has been giving information to a drug dealer.

In this book Violet goes to Zane’s house and tells them it’s her. Violet was being blackmailed into cooperating because of some dangerous information they threatened to leak. Violet is a C.I A analyst.

It’s just so unbelievable that a trained C.I.A agent would just hand over all the things that she did. Without going to anyone for help! She knew about Zane and his team and what they do. If she felt like she couldn’t trust anyone at work she should have gone to them! It was just a silly plot. Then factor in another lost lost relative and here we go again!

Missing words, and incorrect words. Sex scenes are ok… ish. Not the worst book in this series but not the best.

I’ve been wondering why I love some couples in books, but in others I feel nothing at all. With Riley’s writing I can understand why I fall in love with her stories. She can draw me into her books, and leave me with a smile on my face at the end. Hell, most of the time I’m smiling throughout because Zane and his snarky quips are hilarious.
So far, I’ve loved the Red Team and Jax and Violet are no exception. She was so naive and gullible, whilst also being feisty and strong and willing to own her shit. She’s my new book bestie.
There was so much for me to love in this book. Forced proximity, found family quite literally, and a story that hits all the emotions. Riley Edwards is a Queen In military romance and one day I hope to get to read Susan Stoker’s books since some of her characters pop up and help save the day.

What a ride!!

Jaxon and Violet’s story is an action packed ride! Riley Edwards’ Redeeming Violet, part of Operation Alpha world was an absolute treat to the mind!!

I was skeptical when I started reading this one. In fact I waited for a long time before reading it even when I had it. I couldn’t think of any reason I’d understand Violet’s actions. But by the time I was half way through the story, I absolutely understood it. Jaxon is hot and strong and just what any woman in Violet’s situation would need. The secrets that spilled and the ensuing tragedy also, was heartbreaking. It was really fun to meet Wolf, Abe, Cookie, Benny, Dude, Tex and some of the others. I wouldn’t name some of the people to avoid spilling some spoilers here. Overall, Riley Edwards did a fantastic fabulous job of Redeeming Violet.

Redeeming Violet

OMG! What an intriguing and explosive story! How do you top this story? This is about Violet - who turned out to be a traitor but thought she was doing the right thing to keep many operatives safe. Jaxon tried to distance himself from her but to no avail. He was falling for her and wanted her name cleared. As we go through each chapter, we find how tough and scared Violet is. The chapters leading up to the rescue of Violet was heart pounding to say the least. The last two or three chapters kept me in tears when Eric sacrificed himself to save the others. It still makes me sad and angry to have the team lose one of their brothers. The ending is truly heartwrenching! FANTASTIC job Riley! I would highly recommend this book!
