It finally happened. Kiriyama taking the first major step in his own personal growth and he's standing up for Hina in a vow to support her.

As a reader, I'm about filled up to the brim with this selfish void of character, but now, I see that my efforts in sticking with this title is not in vain. Not only is he starting to value his personal relationships, but he's also baring his fangs in his shogi as well.

This volume ends spectacularly on a bevy of emotions in its last chapter. It is so good, this is the best chapter yet.

such an excellent volume. We can see how Rei slowly grows up and what an excellent influence Nikaido and Akari, Momo and of course Hina are on him.
Our boy has matured so much.

I don't have the attention span for the shogi thing It totally goes over my head, but I'm loving the story, the characters and everything else. I love Chica Umino's style.
