Blurb: Keatyn's crazy life comes together in one perfect script in this special summer edition containing the first two books in the USA TODAY Bestselling Series, The Keatyn Chronicles.
Book 1: Stalk Me Keatyn's life is following the script she wrote for the perfect high school experience. She's popular, goes to the best parties, dates the hottest guy, and sits at the most-coveted lunch table.
But she's thinking about giving it all up to date an adorable surfer. So she writes a new script. One where all the pieces of her life come together in perfect harmony.
But little does she know, there's someone who will do anything to make sure that doesn't happen.
Book 2 - Kiss Me Keatyn's always written scripts for her perfect life. But she never would have scripted this ...
She's now at a boarding school, where she has new challenges to face. Like tutoring a hottie god that tortures her with his smile. And having the most popular girl hate her, because of a guy.
So she's decided to stop trying to script her life, and just live it. Because who knows how long she has left.
Ummm.... Let's talk about this book yes? Book 1... These people, girls, are absolutely ridiculous. Keatyn is a mean girl, yup that's right, her and her 2 little friends... mean girls.... the rest of the girls at that school... also mean girls... Let's just stab each other in the back... drug people... get hammered... try to sleep with people boyfriends... and we are all 16 years old... oh and we do drugs and are all super wealthy but apparently bat sh!t crazy as well. Cool. Then it's the I don't like me, I am going to change... nope nevermind... but wait... I'll be better but actually I am being just as bad as the other mean girls but just to them and not everyone else... Then insert her crazy boy problems... sex sex sex, he doesn't want me i'm not good enough... blah blah blah... I need everyone to think we are sleeping together... (insert eye roll here). Then its oh I love this one... I lied, he's not nice, moving on 2 days later... now I love this one... however I am still going to do things to make this one jealous... wth... I mean I was 16 too and never had this crazy hormone problem. Jeez... I figured the whole stalker problem would be a center story, but nope that was like a teeny tiny story line in her crazy I need to be popular, I need all the boys and people to love me plot. Stalker found out, she leaves her family.
Book 2... Stalker made her move away... new place, new school... new hot boys... kiss 3 boys first week. And now this whole book is all about her love life - very little about what is actually going on with the stalker dude who is actively searching for her. I really like this person... however the god himself makes her melt.... riiiiiiight. For being 17 years old the author tries to make them seem so much older with some of the things these kids do, but then the maturity level makes it seem like they are 12.
These books kept popping up on Facebook as suggested books to read. Even though the main character is a teenager, which I don’t usually read young adult books, I went ahead and downloaded it anyway. Keatyn is a 16yr old daughter of a famous actress. She was homeschooled most of her life but finally attends high school in Malibu. She always desired to be the popular girl dating the hot guy. Turns out, super hot guy wants to wait until marriage before sex and she ends up breaking up with him after prom. She then wants to date her surfer friend Brooklyn who she has crushed on for two years. That didnt work. So she then turns to Cush, the player party boy. There is so much bouncing around that its annoying. Then throw in the drama with superficial friends and a stalker.
Book 2, Keatyn goes to a private school in NY and then starts all the boy drama all over again. She is making out with everyone her first week of school. Then is back and forth wanting to date Dawson and Aiden. These books were a bit all over the place for me. Don’t think I will continue with them.

2.5 stars. If I was 12 or 13 this may have gotten 3-4 stars. I would have loved all the details of her life and conversations and clothes and school stuff. As an adult this story dragged on. And on. And on. I ended up skipping a bunch. People acted out of character just to add drama, but it was so out of character from who they’d been. I had a problem with the main character, too. She loves every guy she’s with, drops them on a dime after realizing she may have just used them, then picks them back up again realizing it was real love, the other was fake. Just so wish washy with no integrity. The main character did not grow during the first two novels, and it doesn’t feel like there is an overall arc to the series.
It was a meh-ish read and will probably not continue the series. Not my cup of tea.
This book was not really my cup of tea and yet it was surprisingly addictive. I hated the way Keaton couldn’t make up her mind, going from one boy to another, always believing herself in love and then doubting herself. I hated the emphasis on clothes and possessions. And yet, I wanted to know whether she had evaded Vincent and who she would decide on. In fact, it kept me from submitting an assignment on time because I was so invested in it. I am tempted to keep reading, although 12 books from the series and then another series that run on from there may be just too much of a waste of time.
This is the first 2 books in The Keatyn Chronicles. It's a very good story it’s worth your time to read. Keatyn is the daughter of a movie star and just trying to live her life normally. The book is full of ups and downs as you get to know Keatyn. You get to experience the drama the hurt and laughs along the way with her. This is a good story you don’t want to miss out on. Can’t wait to read more of this series.
The Keatyn Chronicles: Books 1-2 by Jillian Dodd were a great read. Stalk Me is Book one where Keatyn is introduced. Kiss Me is Book two about Keatyn now at boarding school. I enjoyed reading about Keatyn's life. I can't wait to read more by Jillian Dodd.
DNF: started to read and was done by the end of the first page. For my clean readers: Wholly inappropriate at any age. The F-word appears in the first page and after a search, the book is full of language. Underage drinking, teen sex, and that's just the first page.
DNF i tried my hardest to get into this story but I gave up to the point where The girl is starting on the new school. Reading about teenager drama is definitely not for me.
Keatyn is the stupidest girl I have ever seen. How can you consistently fall for all these mens bullshit. Like if she hadn’t already slept with half the country, I would think she is one of those girls who would fall for “just the tip”. Also stop listening to pretty words and pay attention to actions bitch
