While the book is essentially a combination of Christopher and Christopher's Legacy, it is also a new rewriting and customizing of the older books. It brings more characters in and introduces some exciting European intrique. Christopher was and international award winning novel for 2017. It is updated and smoothly combined. One critic call the characters so real that he had come to think of them as reality. Christopher casts long and deep shadows over three generations of people. Not only his own family, but his adopted one and his family of friends. Christopher was a hero during the war when he smuggled downed pilots to safety and saved an influential man in America. The man made it back home and became very rich. In gratitude, his last one ever, he brought Christopher to America to live and help. The man had a beautiful wife and daughter, but ignored them. Money was all he wanted to needed. Christopher took care of them and let the old man go on his own way. The man hired a thug and set him up as a business manager and trouble shooter. His primary point in life was to disable Christopher and drive out the boyfriend of the daughter. Several others came in to play and the manager was caught. He went to prison, only to return. He hired a well known hard man who had connections with international terrorists. Christoper did too. The book ranges from small towns in North Forida, to France, Spain, the Cayman Islands, Ireland and most of the southeastern U.S. Modern technology comes into the scene to help protect the family and keep the descendants and friends safe and comfortable. Two generations of twins provide adventure, fun, romance, action and adventure.
The Series Called SECESSION "CONVOLUTED AND CONVINCING ALTERNATE HISTORY". A College Professor, Professor of English posted this on Amazon for Secession. Also written by James Huber This is a riveting tale of what might happen if the failed policies of recent political administrations in the United States are not reversed. It is, perhaps, worth noting that the secession in the title does not lead to immediate civil war after the fashion of the War Between the States. The political and diplomatic machinations in the text are absolutely fascinating, and like most alternate history throw revealing light on our present problems and where they might lead. ... the plot line is fascinating ... If you are of a Progressive turn of mind politically, this might cause you apoplexy, so you might want a pass unless you are uncharacteristically open minded.
