A unique blend of Sci-Fi and PNR! Written in a daring style that is both new and fresh! This prequel will take readers off guard! There is a good blend of humor and dry wit that will keep a smile on your face! The reader must bear with the Author as this short story really only serves to set up the first book and is meant to leave the reader with a few questions! One needs to understand this is a dark beginning and there is a long way to go before the HEA comes in sight!

A unique and well written story. This is a quick read that'll have your attention until the end. As you go through this book, it is in a way giving you a taste of what's to come and it's setting up the storyline. Definitely recommend.

The author did a good job with this prequel setting up background and introducing us to the characters. It's a different take on paranormals in new worlds. I look forward to reading the next book.
