What does God want for His Church? For your church?
Building on each of the nine chapters of his latest book, Letters to the Church, Francis Chan urges Christ-followers to

Francis Chan is an American pastor and teacher, who lives in California with his wife, Lisa, and their four children. He is the former pastor of Cornerstone Community Church in Simi Valley, CA, which he and his wife started in 1994.
A good guide to go along with the series. Doing the study alone, the book and video would have been enough, but the study guide would add to the conversation in a small group.
A really challenging book for those with what is often viewed as a mature faith. Chan takes to task those of us who've grown comfortable in our pews/chairs/walls. He progressively chips away at what we presume to be the 'way of Christ' until the reader is forced to recon with what the Holy Writ actually has to say about things like fellowship, salvation, baptism, communion, and a host of other topics twenty-first century Christians take for granted.
This is a study guide the to book Letters to the Church. The study guide was helpful and full of questions for book talk. There were more questions than we could get to as a group of 3 in 1.5 hours of a book study! (Maybe we got off topic a bit too much!) Anyway, the study guide was good.
This is an excellent book that challenges us to take the scriptures seriously and live as true Christians and not just as Christians in name only. This book inspired me to want to love the way Jesus loved.
Francis Chan gives the Christian food for thought. He loves Christ and he loves people. Many churches use this model in their small groups. This is not a new way of thinking, but a timely study.
