This was not my favorite. Everything felt a little off, a little awkward like they were never on the same page. Like they were never really open and honest with each other. Even the first break up didn't have a discussion, then there was the kiss with Detroit, which for any reason was unforgivable. The story didn't feel convincing and when they got back together they still didn't talk openly. it took a health scare for them to be together and still they did not communicate well we literally waited until the last pages for them to finally be open and clear with what they wanted. of course I understand life is messy and this story represented that in the best way, it just didn't make for a great read, just a good one.

Pas baca buku ke 5, sudah tidak suka dengan karakternya Omen. Pas baca buku ini, perasaan itu tidak hilang dan memang Omen adalah orang yang sangat selfish, hanya mementingkan dirinya sendiri tanpa mengindahkan keinginan Keegan. Mereka itu pacarannya ngumpet-ngumpet, Omen tidak mau sampai publik tahu kalau dia itu gay dan pacaran dgn seorang laki-laki karena dia memikirkan reputasi bandnya. Keegan tidak mau jadi rahasia yg Omen simpan rapat-rapat dan Keegan juga sudah muak. Akhirnya Keegan yang mengakhiri hubungan mereka.
Pada saat mereka pacaran, Omen menghindari paparazzi. Setelah putus, seenaknya Omen bersenang-senang dengan Detroit di depan umum tanpa berpikir konsekuensinya. Akibatnya foto-foto Omen dengan Detroit ada di mana-mana, menyakiti hati Keegan untuk kesekian kalinya.
Kalau Omen sudah siap jujur di depan publik, kenapa harus sm Detroit terlebih dahulu. Kenapa bukannya Omen memohon maaf sm Keegan dan minta kesempatan kedua. Ditambah lagi pada saat Keegan bertanya kenapa Omen mencium Detroit, Omen tidak bisa menjawab apa-apa.
Keegan sudah disakiti oleh Omen pada saat Omen menjadikan Keegan dirty little secret, lalu disakiti kembali pada saat foto-foto Omen dan Detroit muncul di mana-mana, ditambah lagi pada saat Keegan menyaksikan ciuman mesra Omen dengan Detroit.
Tidak dapat dibayangkan sakit hatinya Keegan seperti apa setelah dikhianati berulang-ulang kali oleh Omen.

Nice
This was another good story in the series. These stories are filled with so much angst and poor communication between the main characters. But I like that we continue to see the guys from the previous stories.

‘Save the at he kids' series from EM Leya,
‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or
'Liberty' from Seth King),
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a
WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises
(like most of Andrew Grey’s books)
it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few
times a year (most romances where you can
enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader,
maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-
reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but

Keegan had always wanted to meet his favourite group the Slight Bastards but when the lead singer Omen rushed into his life and he was the centre of his attention it was like a dream. Loving Omen was easy until Omen made him hate him. As soon as Omen saw Keegan he was caught even though before him he hadn't dated men. Falling in love with Keegan was easy but staying in love with him was hard until Keegan's love turned to hate. Omen doesn’t know how to fix the damage he’s done. Luckily, his friends have a plan. Now all it will take is everything if Omen hopes to win back his heart, but is it too late?
I enjoyed this story with the angst between the two men as they loved but had problems with being open and getting the acceptance of both them and their relationship. I completely empathised with Keegan when he felt as if Omegn was ashamed of him and that he was just a dirty secret followed by seeing him kiss another man. The journey back to being together was emotional and at times difficult for both them and me as the reader. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

I love this series and would be extremely happy if there were 20 more. Each story is entirely different from those that came before in the series. Each man has a well-described backstory, history if you will, that contributes to personality and behavior. Age-gap is my favorite genre so these hit my sweet spot.
I believe that the series is loosely tied such that a reader could read out of order but you will appreciate the relationships much more if you start in the beginning. I read the most recent title and had no choice but to go back to the beginning.
Warning: If you are looking for a story with a smooth path to love and men who never make a mistake, you'll want to give this one a pass.
This is the story of men who do, in fact, make mistakes and dwell on the past rather than look to the future. There is a little GFY added to the opportunity for a second chance.

Loved It
I’m just speechless after this book. I’ve become addicted to this series. Each book is better than the last! Keegan is such a beautiful soul. I love how he stood up for himself and would not change for anyone. There was an unexpected twist that just made this book even more amazing! I loved this book!

Love this series!
Each book in this series is so good. I absolutely love the characters in this series. They are all somewhat broken and imperfect, yet they are able to find love. Throw in some angst and possessiveness & I am set!

I feel in love with this series and haven't stopped. Omen and Keegan had so much against them caused by their own thoughts but in the end it all works out. I teared up a little bit.

Another delight
Parkerson hits the sweet spot every time with these novellas featuring younger/older couplings. This one is particularly touching and romantic. It deals with the pain of being a secret love, an unmentionable sin. Very well done.

Keegan and Omen
So good! I would have definitely kept reading. I love this series and the men who fight their demons to be with the one they love. I wish this story was longer but hopefully we will see more of them in the future. I also can't wait for Courtlands story

Wow!!
This was so good. Scared me for a bit though. Especially with what happened and their ages. I am so happy for the friendships made. They were needed more than they all realized.

What a awesome read
I loved the story of Omen and Keegan. Their story had ups and downs with a few cries. I'm a sucker for a good love story. I was mad at Omen at times and I even got frustrated with Keegan. But it was all worth it.

Heart wrenching! You feel the pain of this second chance romance down to your toes. Then just as you think happiness is coming for them they're thrown for a loop. But in the end, the happened ever after shows up strong and out and proud. As it should be!

Realmente es increíble como cada libro es único, a pesar de que son historias cortas están muy bien construidas y narradas. Sólo espero el próximo sea más tranquilo porque demasiado sufrimiento con las dos últimas parejas.

Sugar Bastard is book six in the Sugar Daddies series.
While this one isn’t my fave it still had its moments that I really enjoyed. I still very much dig that it leads into the next book of the series and it follows a timeline. We often get to see past couples too which is nice.

Oh, this was sweet. So so sweet.

Not wow but not meh.
It was a good book, shorter than expected but good drama. The couple was sweet and I liked the whole "we had sex, but I'm not back together with you". Even as I liked it way too much, I had to say... Miscommunication again! I can't stand it. It's a good book tho, I can't lie. The smut scenes were very hot.
I didn't held a lot of love for this couple just because they were fast introduced and fast gone. Keegan was my favorite of the two.
