(New Adult Paranormal Romance - This is Book Three in the Succubus Kiss Series.)
Her soul is on the line...
Kenna's determination to free herself from the wraith continues to grow, but she isn't willing to pay the cost of the rare spell she recently learned of.
However, everything changes when she does the unthinkable.
Knowing her time as herself is limited, Kenna struggles to cope with what she's done and to find a new way to fight against the wraith. It isn't until someone steps forward who is more than willing to sacrifice eternity for her salvation that her battle within intensifies and she finds herself at a crossroads.
Will Kenna allow someone to pay the ultimate price for her soul or will she give in and let the wraith have what he's wanted from the beginning?

Since Sacrifice is book three of the Succubus Kiss series, I am not going to recap what went on during this crazy ride as it might reveal some spoilers for readers who have yet to start this epic and amazing journey that we are taking with Kenna as she battles for her life. But I can assure you that Sacrifice has so many twists and turns that you will not be expecting, some really hot romance and a plot that will keep you glued to the pages. From the cover to the actual story, this installment is my favorite in the series so far.
With each installment of the Succubus Kiss series, Jennifer Snyder continues to amaze me with her ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and constantly guessing how this story will play out. Sacrifice is no exception and in fact the story took a few turns I did not see coming and left me with so many questions. I got so involved with Sacrifice and could not put it down, mainly because of how effortlessly the writing flowed, but the intensity of the drama and romance that unfolded literally had me holding my breath and desperately wanting to know more. The cliffhanger ending however hit me like a freight train and left me completely and utterly speechless. It took me awhile to wrap my head around everything that happened and to gather my thoughts. Seriously, Ms. Snyder has become an expert at keeping her readers coming back for more – craving the next installment like a drug. Her creative mind is evil and pure ingenious, which results in effectively luring her readers to come back and find out what will happen next.
If you are a fan of paranormal romance and looking for a read that is fast-paced, sexy, fun and intense you will definitely need to check out this addictive and captivating series.
Sacrifice is the continuation of succubus Kenna Blake’s story, dealing with being infected by a wraith.
I love Kenna. She is sweet and noble. She does not want anyone to have to suffer for her. She is strong. She feels guilt when she makes mistakes, even when it is not really her fault, stupid wraith. She is a great heroine who does not fit a succubus stereotype.
Randal has been very supportive and loving of Kenna. He will do anything in his power to help rescue her from the wraith that took his sister. He does some things that upset Kenna, but ultimately he is looking out for her best interest.
All the character are growing so much. Jennifer Snyder’s character development is noteworthy.
This series keeps getting better. I could not believe some of the things that happened. Sacrifice was full of surprises and unexpected twists. Not to mention the ending – didn’t see that coming. This is a series you will definitely want to read in order. The prequel, Kiss of Awakening, is currently free if you have not yet started the series. I will be counting the days until the next book comes out!

Kenna’s still harboring hope that Lexy would find another solution to her problem. However, the clock was ticking. Her relationship with Randal solidified, and so did the wraith, who had gained control over her mind. On one faithful night, she finally lost control, and it changed the life of one person that she was desperately trying to protect.
One more book to go, and hopefully, we would read about HEA life for Kenna. She suffered enough, and although I was a bit mad at her in this book for blaming Randal for Bree's situation, I still wished her to live her happy life with Randal.
I don't want to reveal more, just that I knew that Landon wouldn't have a chance with Kenna. I knew about it because I'd read the spin-off to this series – Ward Witches! So, stay calm, and everything would be alright 😊.
From the start, this story seems depressing. As it turned out, I was unable to read this story prior to reading book 4. Perhaps you're better at this dark stuff than I am. When I returned to this title, I found there were some light and bright scenes scattered around. That helped a lot. And, as expected, it ends in yet another cliffhanger, being a stepping stone in the multivolume story.
I am a little confused at the moment. So much happened and pieces were coming together and yet another wrench got thrown into the fire. Ugh this is taking forever for pieces to come together. One book left. It’s a good thing I invested in seeing what happens next.
The Succubus Kiss series is one of my favorite paranormal romance sets and Sacrifice went above and beyond my expectations. Jennifer Snyder has produced her best work yet. Sacrifice is beautifully written, has an amazing flowing plot and provides so much excitement and emotion.
Book 1 had a major focus on introducing us to the characters and book 2 had a major focus on the wraith. Kenna’s infection was clearly a huge pivot point in the plot and the focus was due. I still am creeped out by the wraith when I go back and do rereads. It was an awesome beginning to the journey.
I am so pleased to say that book 3 brings many new layers and a level of richness that is so so satisfying as a reader. We get to watch relationships blossom and grow. We see some become strained. We get a multitude of new information about our favorite characters and their fates. And we are left with so many questions going into book 4, which will be the finale of the story in this series.
The main plot line of Sacrifice will blow you away. This book really centers on Kenna and her emotional journey as she deals with the impending issue of the wraith. In book 3, Kenna is no longer looking for answers. She knows what must be done. But she doesn’t want it to happen. So she is preparing herself for the end in many ways. She sees no real options so she just wants to make the best of everything. This is a great plan until Randal finds out the truth behind the spell and tries to step in.
I was beyond thrilled to see the progression of Kenna and Randal’s relationship. Kenna really deserves some happiness in all this mess with the wraith and she finds it with Randal. There are a lot of super sexy moments between the two…Randal knows Kenna likes those vampire romances. You all love them too. Don’t be shy! There’s also really beautiful moments between the two of them when they are sharing their developing feelings. Randal is my number book boyfriend and while I’d love to have him all to myself, I absolutely adore the relationship between Kenna and Randal that Jennifer Snyder has crafted.
We also see a bit more of Sage and Dex then we did in book 2. I enjoy the full cast of characters and it’s nice to get everyone interacting. You will also see some interesting twists featuring our favorite club owner, Landon. I’m not going to give any spoilers but trust me, you will not believe where his story goes. It will blow your minds in an awesome way of course.
I will tease you and say there is an epic cliffhanger. Possibly Jennifer Snyder’s most epic to date. I am still in a state of worry over what’s going to happen.
Sacrifice will suck you right back into Kenna’s world and you won’t want to leave. It has amazing plot movement and character development. You will bond with Kenna even more. I know I shared many laughs and tears with her during Sacrifice. It was beyond what I hoped for and left me hungering for book 4. While I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to these characters, I am dying to find out how their stories end. I can’t wait for that release this fall!
This is a must read for anyone who is a paranormal fan. I also think if you just like a bit of romance mixed in with a good level of suspense and mystery then you’d enjoy this series. I really encourage you to start this series if you haven’t yet!

It was so easy to fall back into this world, I was devouring it! I did not want to put this book down! The wraith is stronger than ever and I didn't think he could get any creepier than he was but then Kenna finds a shed full of all the previous souls he's taken and yeah, major goose bumps!
Then the wraiths hunger takes over one night and something bad happens to her friend. The whole time I was practically screaming at my kindle "Don't do it Kenna" "You can fight it, don't do it". But of course she did the one thing I was yelling at her not to do and I could not stop turning the pages! This lead to an amazing twist, I didn't see it coming until it came!
Seriously a well crafted tale that I couldn't get enough of! There's so much drama and watching Kenna worrying on her own of what the spell takes to get rid of the wraith, it's one emotional ride! Though I was so happy when she finally told Randal! And his suggestion for her problem was a total shock and I was like, why didn't I think of that? Like, duh!
Also, swoon, when I read Seduce (the first book) I envisioned him as Sam Witwer who played Aidan in the US version of Being Human. But now I'm envisioning more of Daniel Gillies who plays Elijah from The Originals and boy am I head over heels for Randal now haha.
Elijah and Randal are the exact same character with the way they talk and hold themselves up so this is who I was thinking of the whole time! Let's just say I became very smitten over his character in this one!
Overall I really enjoyed the surprises around ever corner and boy were there a lot! Such a gripping tale! I'm sad to see this end in the next and final book! But even so, I'm dying to read it and see how things come together in the end!

In the third installment to the Succubus series, Kenna continues her struggle with the Wraith inside her as it gets stronger with each passing day. In the duration of this book, the Wraith becomes more whole and more dangerous. While Lexy's concoctions seemed to work well in the beginning, it's evident Kenna is in dire need of a strong we dose now. At the same time, she deals with the guilt of having almost killed someone and forcing a friend to turn said someone into a supernatural being, and the choice she still has yet to fully take action upon.
That said, I must again repeat that I enjoy the author's writing style immensely. As with the first two books in the series, this is a fairly fast and enjoyable read, with a fantastic flow and great descriptions. The characters are great and while we learned more about many of the characters, I still wish we had more information and background for Randal.
As for the Wraith, he gives me the chills. I hate him for what he is and what he's doing to Kenna. She has to gone through so much already without him trying to take control of her and making her do things she feels horrible about. I just hope she can be truly rid of him soon. Without Randal dying, of course. Considering the last line in this book, I'm not sure if that's a hope that will happen to be true. I don't want him to die, but I'm sure he's taken matters into his own hands now that he knows the choice Kenna was faced with.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and this series, and I can't wait for more! I recommend this series to lovers of fantasy, especially ones involving supernatural creatures.

OMG! This book, this series is just getting so much better with every single part. Jennifer just perfectly creates the world, the tension, the obstacles Kenna has to overcome to survive. It's just simple perfection.
In this part we have Kenna's feelings towards Randal, that are growing every day, every minute. She is not able to stay away from him. And simply she doesn't want to. She never felt like that toward anyone. But not only good feelings are present in her life. The choice she has in front of her is making her feel all the negativity. She is desperate to live, but the consequences of her choice can be destructive for her. UGH! I want to say so much more, but I hate doing spoilers and to say more would reveal so much! You just have to read the book and feel all the emotions I felt!
And what I love even more? The glimpses on #MyDex... *sigh* that guy is just perfect. I want him for myself and that's why I shamelessly use my own hashtag: #MrsDex ;) I hope we will see more of her.
Jennifer is a master of keeping me on edge with every chapter and that ending! OMG! This made me groan, scream in frustration and impatiently await for the next book.
I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review..... Sacrifice is book 3 in the Succubus Kiss series by Jennifer Snyder. You have to read all of these books in order !!! Sacrifice picks up right where Savor leaves off almost like you turned another page in this succubus' story. Finally in true succubi fashion this story begins to heat up as Kenna and Randal's relationship starts to evolve. Gone is the suave, flirtatious Randal and we see more depth and vulnerability to his character. In this book, Kenna, Randal, and Dex finally get some answers on how to vanquish the wraith although it comes at an extreme cost to those surrounding Kenna. Sage is almost mysteriously absent from this book leaving you to not trust her shady ways more than ever before. Is it her vamp nature or is she in on the quest to kill Kenna with the wraith? I guess we will both be tuning in to see what happens in Snyder's next book in this series! I can't wait!

I have to say this series keeps getting better. This one was full of twist and turns I definitely did not see coming. This one was so good, I couldn't put it down. I didn't see the ending coming at all, and I look forward to reading the next one to see what happens. This is one series I think everyone needs to read and it must be read in order. The characters development in each book is amazing to see, to see how much they grow. I really enjoyed this one.
All I can say is WOW. Talk about a cliffhanger. Kenna and Randal have been almost inseparable since they found a way to get the wraith out of her. But at his party for the new house he got in her city, they run into his ex girlfriend. And things turn ugly. Things are said and it causes Kenna to leave the party. Of course her succubus side takes effect while walking. She hurts someone she cares for. Now with that person a vampire, he's a different person to her. After Kenna returns to work, she comes home to learn her man is missing. What else can go wrong for her?
