For over a year (gosh, has it been that long?), I have been fully invested in Jennifer Snyder’s Succubus Kiss series and I have loved every single minute of it - except the cliffhanger endings the author loved to torture us with…those I could have done without! With each installment, I literally put life on hold so that I can immerse myself in Kenna’s world and ‘watch’ the drama unfold with every turn of the page. In Summon, the dramatic conclusion to this epic series, readers finally get some closure and some much needed answers to questions that have plagued us during this year of traveling along this journey with Kenna as she comes to grips with discovering she is a Succubus then dealing with the horrible wraith that is bound and determined to drain her of everything she is.

As you can tell from the cover, Kenna has become fully awaken and her wings have emerged. Sadly, this came with a price for one unfortunate soul and Kenna had a really hard time dealing with it. Of course, the wraith was beyond excited because it got what it wanted at the time….control. The clock is still ticking for Kenna as she awaits her fate. Will she finally find peace from the torment she has endured? Will the wraith finally get was it deserves? Will Kenna finally get the HEA she dreams of with Randal? And most importantly of all, who the heck infected Kenna with the wraith? All these answers and so much more are revealed in Summon and some of the answers might just shock you!

I can’t even begin to tell you how bittersweet it was for me to begin the last book in this series. On one hand I wanted to hurry up and devour it but yet on the other hand I wanted to take my time and savor every last word. Summon was everything I have come to expect from this series plus so much more. I will miss this series immensely but I finish it as a very satisfied reader. With compelling characters and an intriguing story-line, I found this a very fun and addictive series that was truly incredible. The Succubus Kiss series is the perfect choice for any paranormal fan and really showcases the talent of this amazing author. If you haven't guessed it already, I highly recommend not only this book but the entire series - it will not disappoint.

The final battle between the wraith and Kenna! The ending was as expected, the culprit exposed, but it didn’t surprise me at all because I’d predicted it since the beginning of the story. However, it was still enjoyable, especially when everyone has the HEA, except for the culprit, of course.

Now that this series is over, I hope one day, Jennifer would write a story about Darius! He's an interesting character, and I would love to find out how he ended up there. For now, I'll read Catalyst, the first book from the Tethered series. However, if you haven't read the spin-off to this series called Ward Witches, in which the first chapter was included in this book, please do so before moving on to the next series 😊.

Overall, this has been a rather dark story, but, at least, with a nice ending. However, I'm not certain that it was really worth the effort. I leave that for you to decide for yourself.

Happily Ever After. Haunting. Scary. Steamy. Tragic. Twisted. Unpredictable. Wonderful characters.

Summon is the fourth, and last, installment to the Succubus Kiss series. And just like the first three, it was very engaging and I definitely enjoyed it.

In the first book we learn there's werewolves, vampires, witches, demons, fairies, and many other supernatural creatures. Now, we know there's different types of them too! And with each new supernatural introduced, we learned more of their type and their power, which I think was pretty cool. Just like when we learned of Elemental Witches and Hoodoo practitioners. All species are intriguing and each are different, no matter if they fall under the same category, and it was really cool to see the author pull it off. I especially loved how we learned that the Succubus species have wings! How they get them was rather not so good, especially considering Kenna's character, but her wings are cool and I love how she didn't let it break her.

I think the characters had a lot to do with that too, though. She had Randal and Dex mostly, to stay by her side and keep her same. Sage had a hand in that too, sure, but now I know why I sometimes didn't really feel like she liked Kenna that much. It actually makes so much sense now, considering all that has happened. However, while the loose ends were pretty much tied, I do wonder what happened to Natalia. We didn't get to see much of her and so while it seems like she disappeared, I don't really know what happened to her. Did she get over Randal? Did she find a new love? Did someone get rid of her? I dorm care much for her, but seeing as we didn't quite get an ending for her, I'm curious.

As for Kenna, she just got stronger in this book. I love how pure she is despite the nature of her species, and I love how we really truly see it in this book. She won't let someone die for her, and she was willing to sacrifice herself so no one would have to for her sake. She stood up to her mom when she suggested to let someone die for her, and each time Kenna proved how pure she was, she proved she was selfless too. She's a great character.

Overall, I really enjoyed reading Summon and this conclusion to the series is well done. I definitely recommend this to lovers of paranormal and romance books.

Kenna Blake is running out of time to stop the wraith from taking over her body and finding kidnaped Randal.

Wow talk about a lot going on and unexpected twist. Summon, the fourth book in Jennifer Snyder’s Succubus Kiss Series did not disappoint!

Kenna has been a wonderful heroine throughout this series. She has undergone a lot and still stayed true to herself. She is a noble individual with admiral traits.

I like the addition of Darius. He was an interesting character. I still love Dex. He has been a very good friend to Kenna throughout the series.

There were some very unexpected, yet believable twists in the story. I really like the ending. Jennifer Snyder did a wonderful job resolving the conflict of the story. She covered all the small details making everything feel resolved.
