Rate this book
Call Me By Your Name is a profound movie about first love, desire, heartbreak, and self acceptance. Inspired by the thousands of members of the Call Me By Your Name Global Facebook Group and the hundreds of postings on the Call Me By Your Name Support Group on Twitter, I asked people from around the world how this film changed their lives. It is so moving to know that the novel CALL ME BY YOUR NAME by Andre Aciman, created on impulse by the author in a few months and taking ten years to bring to film, has affected so many people profoundly. People of all ages, gay and straight and most poignantly, closeted or growing old. Hundreds write here what profound meaning the Aciman novel and its filmed version has for them. What a lovely testimony of what a small work of art can bring to so many people all over the world! bravo! And brava to Barb Mirell, the editor who brought it all together!
