Aidan had to get out. With everyday he spent watching Brighton and his growing family, jealousy and longing grew. He was ready to begin his life, and he wasn't going to wait for it to come to him. But when a shy and timid bear shifter shows up, offering a job as a body-guard, he figures he can wait just a bit longer. But the job doesn't turn out to be quite what he expected, and neither does the sweet and caring shifter, who he seems to be growing closer to everyday.
Eight years ago, Kira swore he would never return home, and until now, he kept that promise. But when an old friend calls with a desperate plea for help, he finds he can't turn down this job. But he won't be going alone. He has doubts at first about the rowdy alpha he's picked up, but slowly finds himself unable to withstand Aidan's charm. And when the job goes south, the strong and protective alpha soon becomes his only hope.
The editing was much better in this book then the first one. Boy was Kira’s dad a real piece of work and really his father wasn’t much better. He should have protected his son. The only thing I would have liked is the birth but I’m sure we will find out more in the next book, at least I’m hoping so.
ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
This is the second book in the Summerwind drifted series this time it's Aiden's time to find a mate .
This was a pretty decent read I liked both the Alpha and the Omega plus we see the othere characters from the previous book can't wait until they all find their mate's I also wanted to see the baby born bummer .
A good little m/m read with male pregnancy in this one is about a alpha wolf and omega bear the bear asks one of his sort of friends to come home with him for protection from his pack . Very good read once you start reading you find your self looking for more when you have done 👍.
This was a great story, although, it came to a rather abrupt ending. The plot was full of danger, action, community, passion, and most of all love. It held my attention and I totally enjoyed Aidan's playful personality. Overall, this was an excellent and enthralling read. =)
2.5☆ ... I honestly didn't love this one, but I'd still love the series to be completed. Unfortunately, given that I read this three years after it was published and Book 3 isn't out yet, I'm wondering if the author killed the series 😕
Felt like Kira regressed once the main conflict was introduced. He went from a capable character to whatever that was. And the Big bad was a little cartoonish at times.
I wish we could have gotten a bit more of Kira’s past to really see just how terrible things were for him. I loved that he got his hea even after all the nonsense with his alpha dad.
