Make sure you pick yourself up a sketch book and some pencils if you get this book as you’ll have lots to practice. The kids and I used the book to draw dragons, here’s what we came up with.
The other books are mostly line drawings. This book is truly a tutorial, with examples of full color dragons. It shows not only how to draw the outline, but also how to color them so they look 3D. It gives great examples of how to draw different body types, and details like ears, tails, horn alternatives, spine ridges or spikes, scale types. This is the book to learn from and adapt to what you want your dragons to look like.
*This author also has another black and white tutorial book that’s just as good for pencil and shading.
Great book. Dragons are incredibly difficult to draw (which is funny considering they aren't real and you can really do whatever you want with one). This book offers a lot of great tips, and the pages about drawing eyes!!! Fantastic! 🙌🙌🙌
This is a paint by numbers book. If you have heard of ”South Park Character Creator”, this is the same: take the Mr. Potato head pieces, and mix and match.
