Perhaps it is more of a paraphrase than outright translation, and perhaps there a more modern translations that have since supplanted this one, but this is the version I first read from cover to cover and the one that felt most heartfelt in its simplicity. The line drawings also bring the text alive, and I think that the combination of the heartfelt simplicity of the text that parallels the simplicity of the commercial Greek make this the version I turn to most.
