I'd say: Jennifer did it again! With 'Chase' she delivers another beautiful love story of our Lakefield boys.

'Chase' is not only about how Brock and Andi fall in love, it's also about their past, how it broke and now haunts them. It haunts them in their own minds as well as in real life getting them in tough and dangerous situations.

In 'Chase' we get to know the reason behind Brock's need to be in control, which is heartbreaking and Andi trust him with her and her brother's life and let him in. She embraces both their broken hearts with hope to mend them in every possible way.

Andi learned the hard way to depend and rely only on herself. However she's got a trusting heart even after what she had to endure in her past. Her witty, lovable and open nature is what captures Brock's interest and their verbal encounters will make you smile all over your face.

'Chase' has some interesting turns in events which keeps the suspense on a high level and your eyes glued to the pages.

I'm really looking forward to the next book in this series, not only because of the perky hint we get at the end of 'Chase' :)

I loved this book so much. I really enjoyed reading about Andi and Brock.
This book is romantic, funny and sexy. The characters are so real.
The storyline is so good and interesting that I couldn't put the book down and it helped me out of my reading slump.
Brock is the 4th book from the amazing Lakefield series by Jennifer Vester.
It can be read as a standalone, but I recommend to read the whole series. It's very much worth it.

I read all the books in the series, so let me start out by saying that I liked them all; each had a different feeling to it and at the same time, they were like romantic suspenseful stories, at least to me. This is the fourth and last book in the series :)

I think this book was the saddest of all four to me and yet Andi and Brock were strong, striving to moving forward after all the bad things, heartbreaking moments they lived. They were survivors, I don't think I would have been able to be that strong, yet these two, together were able to mend their broken hearts and reach their HEA <3

But before we finally get the epilogue we've all been waiting for, these two have to overcome many obstacles, and learn how to start trusting each other, and with both their pasts, that's not an easy thing, but they did.

I loved Andi and Brock's connection and chemistry and how their story flowed easily.
Andi's bright personality is what drew Brock in, even after everything that happened in her past, she persevered and continued to live.

In this story, like all the other three in the series, there's steamy moments, as well as funny moments, sad moments, secrets discovered/revealed, twists and turns, great secondary characters (all the couples from the previous three books are here, yay), suspenseful moments, and the conclusion of the whole series, which honestly makes me sad and happy at the same time because we finally get to see everyone in bliss, happy, danger free and moving on in their lives with their significant other :) So don't miss out on this book and go read it now! You won't regret it :)

I was so excited to read Brocks story! You really learn why he has become the "man behind the computer". He need control to feel safe. I love his and Andi's story. Their chemistry is off the charts and he tries so hard to be good. This was a well thought out and very well written book. I don't know how she does it but each book is almost better than the last. This book left me waiting impatiently for the next! Beware once you start this book or any of Jennifer's books you wont want to stop until the end, then you want more.

I also loved how she left kind of little teasers of what was going on for the next book. If you pay attention you might catch it. . .

I absolutely loved this book. Brock is such a complex character but he's written so well.
Andi is an amazingly strong female lead who will do whatever it takes to protect her brother. When the two of them start working together sparks fly. The story line is so interesting and unique I could not put the book down!!

OMG I think this was my favorite so far of the Lakefield series. I have
been intrigued with Brock through the whole series and his book was
absolutely amazing. I do not want to give anything away but OMG.
There are parts that had me laughing so hard. especially the banter between
Brock and Andi, and his brothers (twins HOT HOT HOT) Noah and Owen
had my in tears laughing when they had to "babysit" Andi.
There is alot going on not only between Andi and Brock but with the
Aidens' company that has Brock working way to hard. and YES he needs
a vacation. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this book and this series. This can
be read as a standalone though.

I have come to love Jennifer Vester's books. It is amazingly written and the story is so very unique. The flow to the story is fantastic and you just can't put it down until you get to the end. Hot, hot, hot. I loved Brock and Andi together. They have extremely hot chemistry that just doesn't stop. Brock is your extremely alpha male that has to have control but is exceptionally caring and protective. Andi is strong and independent that has a heart of gold. This is a must read. Through all the books brock has always intrigued me, he's mysterious and flirty and I'm so glad we got a book for him.

I really liked andi, she's fiercely independent and her background story is really well developed. Her and Brock together are explosive and I loved their romance.

This book is sexy and dramatic and I loved all of it.
I wish it was duel POV tho

Awesome book! Andi and her little brother are on the lamb using fake ID’s. Brock is head of security for her boss. Brock has decided to chase Andi and find out what she is hiding. This book has laughter, espionage, deceit, lust, sexy scenes, danger, and love. Will Brock win Andi? Will Andi and Drew’s cover be blown? Grab this book and start reading. I couldn’t put it down.
Jennifer has taken a great plot and built her characters around it. The characters are two dimensional. I loved this book! I can’t wait to read more of her books. I think this must be a part of a series. I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.

Andi Jones is 22 years old and working at a hotel for the summer to earn some extra money for her and her brother. Yet Andi has a huge secret about her past that she is not about to share with anyone but she realizes at any moment they may have to pick up and leave.

Brock Fleming is a computer genius and a guy who can hack into anything or find anyone yet he can't seem to find anything on Andi and her brother, Drew. Yet that just provides a challenge for Brock as he wants Andi for himself and is going to do what he can to convince her to give him a chance.

But when Andi is confronted with her past unexpectedly will Brock be able to keep her safe and how far will Brock go to make sure no one else can hurt Andi?

This is such a great series and I love that Brock is getting his own book!

I really liked Andi and could understood why she ran and kept her past hidden. She was subject to a lot growing up and she and Drew deserved a safe place to be. I loved her banter with Brock and how they got under each other's skin so much! I was definitely worried that things could go sideways for her if her identity was revealed.

Brock was one of my favorite characters with his knack of finding people who did not want to be found. He made me laugh through the last books so I was super excited for him to get his own and I definitely was not disappointed that he was up to some of his old tricks!

Andi and Brock had chemistry but Andi was scared to get involved which was understandable. I loved as the two gradually began to open up more and more to each other.

I was shocked at the things that Brock did for Andi and I definitely did not see all that coming! Yet when everything went down at the end I was even more surprised at who was involved but I was not surprised that it was a trick. I knew Brock would get there but I didn't know when!

Love this series and I can't wait for what comes next!

Brock has driven the guys and their women crazy with his stalking tendencies. He has trackers on their phones, satellite images over their homes, there is no where they can go that he doesn't know about. But he met his match when he ran into Andi. A friend of Liv, Julia, and Kate, she slapped him when she met him. Up until the events of Chase, Andi has seemed like the most together, the most self assured member of this girl posse. But she has a huge secret and when she goes to work for the summer at Aiden's new hotel, Brock sees an opportunity to finally get Andi into his life. Too bad that is not on Andi's agenda.

Chase was an awesome read! Each book in the Lakefield series is similar at the most basic level and yet unique to each couple. Andi is such a strong character. She has been through so much and she kept rolling with the punches. Brock hides his pain so well that he can't even see it himself until his mistakes with Andi are staring him in the face. This was a wild ride and that made the ending that much more satisfying. I cannot believe how fast I flew through these books. Thank goodness there is a fifth one, Damage and a spinoff book about one of Brock's brothers!

Chase by Jennifer Vester is the fourth book in the Lakefield series. I have enjoyed each book. Chase tells the story of Brock and Andi. I have been intrigued with Brock and was excited to get to know more about him. Brock is sexy, smart , and of course all alpha male. Andi has an Air of mystery surrounding her or maybe it’s because of the secret that she has been hiding. Brock wants what he wants and gives Chase. Jennifer has written another beautiful, passionate and intriguing story. I love the alpha males and she takes the time to develop them personally. Secrets make Andi hesitant to let anyone close but that doesn’t stop Brock. Jennifer Vester does not disappoint Chase has some twist and turns that will keep you nonstop reading. A lot of questions concerning Brock and Andi are also revealed. Will Brock and Andi have their happy ending? Or will they allow secrets and the mis understanding to destroy what they are building? I suggest you read Chase to find out how the story ends for Brock and Andi. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Brock is a nuisance bordering on pervert to EVERYONE he loves. This goes for his family and his extended family. So when he claims Andi before she even understands what it means you better believe it is hysterical, confrontational, combative and so much fun to be the fly on the wall experiencing it. Andi doesn't back down to his shenanigans, fights him tooth and nail and demands things from him that no one else does. Even finding out why he does what he does doesn't help. I had loads of moments when I spit out my drink laughing especially when she asked for needle and thread while going through his underwear drawer. Oh the battle is real with these two and everyone watching is enjoying it as well.

I don't know about this author and her ability to make this story as funny as it was, but then again with Brock laughter always follows. I love Brock and Andi, she fits right in with Brocks family and the gang. Great read.

So Brock just out here chipping people huh? Lol that’s so loving and creepy as hell all at the same time. This part of the Lakefield Alphas and ladies journeys was one for the ages. I mean we all knew Brock was weird but he was hot so we over looked it but HUNTY when he chipped Andi I was done. I have never laughed so hard over a book in my life! This couple kept me on my toes. I enjoyed this story so much. It was absolutely amazing. As a reader I got to experience these characters and the others in a new light and it was so unique. Andi and Brock were meant for one another and his crazy family adores her and Drew and I loved that for them. Out of all the things all the women of Lakefield went through Andi’s story touched me the most and I was so happy to see her get her happy ending. Chipped and all! Once again it was an honor and a privilege to be able to read this book and review it.

So Chase is the story of Brock and Andi. Trying to figure out the best way to describe these 2 is a little difficult. They are both very complex characters that were brilliantly written. We have met both of these characters in the previous books. Yes, Brock was a HUGE flirt until he met Andi. Andi is a very strong heroin that I feel completes Brock's complexity. We finally find out Andi's big secret and you really just want to punch her family where it hurts. I know this review sounds vague, but if you have read the other books then you know you will not be let down with this one. Jennifer has written very strong alpha's in each of her books and they have gradually grown more alpha with each story. So if you like a strong alpha and even stronger heroin then you will enjoy Brock and Andi's story.

Another excellent book by Jennifer Vester. She never disappoints. Andi and her brother Drew are staying at a luxury hotel for the summer while Andi works there. They have left their abusive past behind with new identities. Andi had it all planned out. How to avoid all unwanted questions about her past and to make a happy life for her brother Drew. What she hadn’t planned on was meeting Brock. Not only was he extremely hot and crazy about her, but he was head of a millionaire’s security firm. With Andi’s background, that made Brock very dangerous. She also didn’t plan on falling for him. Andi is a feisty young lady and gives Brock a run for his money. Although this is the fourth book in a series, it can be read as a standalone novel. It does have some sex scenes and some cussing. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy some steamy romance.

The fourth in this series and finally we get Brock's story. Brock is the computer genius and all around cyber guru. With hacker skills most people can't even imagine Brock keeps tabs on all his family and friends. Andi is a friend of friend of Brock, living under the radar, raising her brother, the last thing she wants is Brock taking interest and uncovering her secrets. Brock however has set his sights on Andi and pursues her like a dog with a bone, refusing to take no for an answer. I've been waiting for Brock to get his story and he met his match, I loved him and Andi together but I felt the story let me down a bit, his character was almost too controlling and I wish he hadn't made so many decisions behind Andi's back. Other than I liked the book and was happy for the series to continue.

Chase was another great book in this series. Its extremely fast paced and has you hanging on the edge of your seat. There was lots of humor and a few spots I became teary eyed. Chase was Andi & Brock's story in, The Lakefield series. Andi and her brother Drew have been on the run until arriving in Lakefield. Andi was able to find a good job and friends who were like family. Most of all Andi meets Brock who drives her absolutely nuts. Brocks intrigued by Andi and wants to know more. When he tries using her current info to look into her past, he comes up empty handed. As Brock tries to pursue Andi, she runs or atleast tries to. Little does Andi know that Brock is the one person she can share her identity and past with. Who won't pass any judgement, but can help her move forward.
I'm looking forward to reading Damage, next.

After not liking book 3 in the series I was hoping book 4 was going to be more like the first two and luckily it was!! I LOVED how Brock pursued Andi. Another wonderful bulldozer, hot alpha male that will do whatever it takes to make the h his. Morally grey is his favorite color ;-) I also really liked Andi, she was a badass, smart and loyal. Together these two were fireeee! We get some suspense, some sweet romance and a loving found family. Loved seeing little glimpses of the other couples. And…in the end we find out there is actually another book in this series and a certain someone isn’t dead! Yay! I’ll definitely be reading that one!

Book four of The Lakefield Series follows Brock and Andi. Brock is the total alpha male who is kinky, a computer nerd and a big flirt who always says exactly what’s on his mind. Andi is a sweet girl who has had to grow up much faster than most girls her age and is raising her younger brother due to running away from her abusive parents.
Brock and Andi have a push and pull relationship throughout this book and that has you rooting for them from start to finish. I will admit, at times I wanted to smack them both. Brock for being so secretive and her for her hesitation with their relationship. Lots of angst going on here.
Besides the happy, sad, love and banter, there are twists and turns you do not see coming!

Jennifer Vester you managed to get me hooked on Brock and Andi's story even before book 4 came out. When we were introduced to these two characters in book 3 I fell in love with both of them. I them proceeded to fall on love with every character that we were introduced in this story. Brock is very easy lo like he cares so much about the people he considers like family that he does whatever thing necessary to keep them safe. He is a hacker amongst many other things. When he chases after Andi he is willing to tear down all her walls and make her his. She might be a bit younger than he is but the only thing he cares about is helping her and keeping her safe just like the rest of his family. Thanks you Jennifer Vester for giving us readers such an amazing character and such a fabulous book.

Even though we have met Andi we have never really learnt much about her and now we find out why, she has secrets and a past she doesn't want discovered, unfortunately for her Brock has had his eyes on her since meeting her in the club when she met up wit Kate, Liv and Julia months ago. She likes him but does't want him to get close as she has other priorities in her life and getting a boyfriend isn't one of no matter what Drew says. Unfortunately for Andi Brock has had enough and he is going after her whether she likes it or not only neither of them realise how things will change once the truth is known and whether they will actually make it to the end together. I hope we get to see more of Brock's brother and I am still not over Cade!

This was another FANTASTIC story in the series! LOVED Andi & Brock's OTT relationship! Goodness, it was such a fun read. There's a mystery & lots of shenanigans. Brock is definitely on the heavier scale of growly must-be-in-control alphas, and some of his ... shall we call them "quirks"? ... might be a bit much for some ppl. But I loved him! And I totally got where those quirks came from & that even at his most over the top moments, his actions came out of concern for his family. I also loved that Andi pushed his buttons & didn't let him steamroll over her. *hearts*

AND! The tease for the next book? SO EXCITED!!! : )

This series was recommended to me and I read the first book in hours it was so good the other two books in days. And was waiting on pins and needles for Chase. God now I just need need more. This story is amazingly written with Characters I want in my life. Well not the dangerous parts....lol It has everything you'll love. Suspense, danger, alpha male, sweetness, love, and sexy times. It like being on a rollar coaster but not. I honestly cant begin to explain this book without ruining it with spoliers so I will not. Just buy this book you never ever regret it.

Andi and Brock's story might be my favorite one so far. The title of this book is so fitting in many way. First, Brock is literally chasing Andi to get her attention and to go on a date with him. Second, Andi has a past she is hiding from so there is the possibility of someone always out to get her. Third, Brock is chasing to save Andi.
Andi has a hard time trusting and opening up to Brock, but after some time and a lot of yelling at Brock, she was able to do that. Brock just wanted to protect Andi and not worry her, but by doing so, he also mislead/ lied to her in the process.
I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!

I absolutely love this series! All of the stories have depth and development and intertwine.

Book 4, Chase, does not disappoint! This volume follows Brock and Andi. Brock is a tech good and usually the smartest guy in the room. He has been a notorious flirt from book one. So you know it's going to take a special gal to change his wicked ways. Andi is young, beautiful, and has a big secret. She's not who she says she is. She's not sure that she can trust Brock with her secret. And it's not just her.. she has her little brother, Drew, to think about as well.

This book has fun, flirty, passion, and some dangerous aspects as well. I really enjoyed this and would definitely recommend it!!

I would give this book 10 stars if I could.
I love Brock so much and Andi is perfect for him. Brock was such a flirt before and now he only has eyes for Andi as she brings him to his knees. This story has suspense, surprise, heartbreak and so much love. Brock is intense but sweet and sexy. Andi is so strong and independent. When you find out....you won’t believe it, but you will understand why these two are how they are and they are a perfect match. Jennifer, I never want this series to end! Brock can chase me anywhere.

brock and andi! ive been curious with these two ever since they were mentioned.i absolutely love how they were with one another as well as having great side characters. i love the twists and turns presented in this book and after reading the series one after the other, im getting a better understanding of the author also. heavily enjoyed getting to read about the other characters from the previous stories. a continuing epilogue haha.

and theres a book 5! the plots this author comes up with and the thrill she leaves in all her books are very entertaining.

This is the 4th book in the Lakefield series by Jennifer Vester. This is a stand alone but if you want to understand how all the characters connect start at the beginning.
Andi is trying to keep it together. She has her brother to look after. She works at a luxury hotel that they also live at. Brock is a tech genius that takes care of the tech at the hotel. He always looks like he stepped out of a GQ magazine. They both have a past they don't really like to discuss.  The chemistry between these to is hot. I couldn't put it down. Loved it.
