I first encountered these captivating books upon their release, and revisiting them now, I still feel the same thrill and excitement that originally captivated me. The adventurous tale unfolds at a breakneck pace, infused with humor that keeps readers smiling amidst the chaos. With each turn of the page, the story is filled with exhilarating moments and unpredictable twists, ensuring that every reader is in for a delightful experience.
Love it. I just finished this book again. There are many series in the Percy Jackson series in this order. Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Kane Chronicles, Heroes of Olympus, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, Trials of Apollo. The Trials of Apollo and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard happen at the same time so you need to read them at the same time. But The Trials of Apollo is longer it and is still going on. There are also add ons to each series.
i prefer the gods over the heroes, but i love this whole book. the idea, the narrative, the way the stories are told, the illustrations, the fun facts, etc. i would definitely recommend this as a book to buy. just simple wonderful, i love every aspect of this book.
These books are great for a fun little read when you wanna hear a bit about the Gods and Greek Hero’s and their backstories, but don’t want something too serious. The sarcastic commentary and humour from Percy is hilarious. If you are in desperate need of a laugh, I’d highly recommend these two books. I think I’ve read them both from front to back at least three times, and will probably read them again in the coming years.
My kids enjoyed this, but man those greek God's are naughty and violent, so I had a hard time reading this. It covers all sorts of adult topics that I think most kids should probably wait on.
