Lost and Found

Rate this book
Hiding from the past is easy…until the past wants to be found.

**Georgia**

He’s gone. I can’t believe Ben is gone.

Just when it seemed I was falling for him. Just when it seemed I was no longer lost.

Now I’m back home with a broken ankle, a broken heart, and the unshakeable feeling that someone is following me.

**Ben**

Leaving Georgia was the hardest thing I have ever done.

Just when I thought my past was dead and buried, Georgia rips a trench right through the middle of my heart.

Am ready to face the pain of my past and the trouble surrounding me, or will I hide from it all forever?

**Mike**

Georgia should know better.

She should know divorce papers mean nothing to me — she’s still my wife. And now that I have Ben out of the way, I intend to remind her of that fact.

No matter where she tries to hide, or how she tries to escape.

I will find her.

I love when a book keeps me on the edge of my seat, turning the page as fast as I can so I can finally find out what the hell is going on! The suspense was literally killing me over here...read the book pretty much in one sitting. A beautfully written story about second chances and opening oneself to love after terrible circumstances, mixed with some crazy, stalkery drama...oooh boy, this was so good. Received arc for honest review...Read this immediately after reading her first book Lost in the Right Direction.

Bravo Megan on a wonderful sequel to Lost in the Right Direction. This had everything you could want in a read. Angst, second chance at love, suspense, thriller aspect, steamy scenes, and Ben this hot bearded mountain man..yum. Ben and Georgia’s love for each other was so swoon worthy. Couldn’t turn the pages fast enough!!

Thanks for the mention at the end Megan. That truly touched me and I teared up. So blessed to know you. KK

After winning Lost in the Right Direction *book 1, I couldn’t wait for Lost and Found - book 2!! In fact I hounded Megan - okay, enthusiastically cheered her on to get it published - So when Lost and Found released, I devoured it, in hours. The below review is a slight spoiler - so don’t read it if you don’t want to know....

What I like about this book, is how the author gives the perspectives of more than just the main character - gives the background, insight into who they are and why, where they came from in life.

While antipating Georgia and Ben to reunite, I kept thinking “don’t screw this up” to the characters. I liked that Megan didn’t make it a painfully long wait for them to reunite. You know when the author keeps making painful choices for the characters and it takes until the very end of the book for them to finally have a positive moment? The timing in this book and the amount of time it took them to reunite felt right - not too hurried, not too long. I enjoyed the suspense, the drama and the evolving relationship.

Something I also appreciate is Megan Carr’s appreciation of her audience, and her encouragement to others in her acknowledgements. Her dedication to her craft and her fans is admirable. I am inspired by Megan, and by this story to keep moving forward, look towards what you aspire to achieve and get out there and HIKE your own hike! I look forward to Megan’s future stories!

Five stars!

Picking up from where Georgia and Ben's story left off in Book 1, Lost and Found continues the suspenseful and tense ride as the blossoming romance faces new challenges, and the spectre of the past is looming large. Someone--or several someones--are out to end Georgia's happiness, if not her life. Lost and Found is well written, tightly paced, and filled with interesting characters who you genuinely grow to care for. The book delivers on suspense, and the tumultuous relationship between the main characters, under fire from unknown elements, will keep you on the edge of your seat right until the end.

Steamy Pacific Northwest Thriller

I flew through the pages of Lost and Found as I was so excited to continue the passionate journey of Georgia and Ben! Megan Carr writes from the heart--you can hear her love for these characters as well as her expertise and familiarity with the beautiful Pacific Northwest in the rich, descriptive text. It was a satisfying and heartfelt conclusion to this romantic suspense thriller!

Megan Carr does it again!

Book 1 definitely leaves you wanting more and book 2 doesn't disappoint!! Megan's style of writing makes you become the character. You feel the exhaustion hiking up the mountain. You feel the pain of each blow Georgia takes from douche bag Mike. You completely lose yourself in these stories. It's exactly what I want out of a book. I can't wait to see what Megan creates next!

After reading Lost In The Right Direction by Megan Carr, I was anxious to read Lost and Found - the rest of the story! It did not disappoint. Scenes that leave you holding your breath to see what will happen. Had to stay up late to finish this! Had to find out the conclusion to the story. Looking forward to whatever Megan Carr writes next.

Oh, Mike, I want to do that slappy thing on your face! What a monstrous meany! Why did poor little sweet thing Georgia ever marry him? Love is hers, I rooted for her ankle to heal and her heart and Ben. I so, so loved this one!
