For fans of Diana Gabaldon, Irina Shapiro, Linnea Sinclair, Bella Forrest and Nalini Singh comes a new series... Josh and Cheyenne journey to the future and discover more than each other in this fourth installment in the six-book time travel series. Be prepared to finish it in one reading. 2078, DC, Capital of NorAm Union. The breach in the timeline has become catastrophic and Josh Mondragon needs critical data from his hometime if he hopes to avert the coming apocalypse. But time is running out in more ways than one as Josh confronts a more personal threat, one that comes from within, and one that threatens to destroy the integrity of his mind. As Cheyenne explores an uncertain future, she finds Josh’s world more alien than the past she had been living in—for it is the domain of technology, where genetic manipulation and human augmentation are the norm, and where the virtual is so thoroughly blended with the physical, that at times she cannot tell the difference. Inside Josh’s world, she comes face to face with artificial intelligence and virtual beings with minds she can scarcely comprehend and whose curiosity knows no bounds. As Josh seeks his answers, Cheyenne finds herself drawn more and more into his world and the beings that inhabit it and as they prepare for the greatest challenge of their lives, she uncovers not only unexpected desires in herself, but the dark secrets that Josh keeps hidden from everyone, including himself. For his world holds the not just to heal time, but to heal her heart as well. A blend of romance, history and science fiction, Time Unbound explores the not-so-distant future of technology where the boundaries between human and machine will disappear; and in so doing, we must ask the how will we define the nature of life, lust, love and what it means to be human? The Dawn of Time Travel is a linear series and should be read in order.
This whole entire book was pure genius and I was sad to see it end! I loved the spin on this series and integrated everything from the 1st book into this perfectly. I was very fascinated by the thought of multiple timelines, and how gar advanced human development got, as far as Clones, Androids, and AIs! Fascinating but yet terrifying possibilities. Cheyenne did great with the hand that she was dealt and her character development flowed along flawlessy. Her growth was enjoyable to watch. Also, the way they view love, sex, and partnership. I most definitely enjoyed Josh and both of his AIs. 3 different entities in one body. Very interesting. Saddened to see the book end, and I am DEFINENTLY looking forward to Book 3! I need an update on Michaud, Elora, the whole gang! Wondering if Bill Cody will ever come back since the TL continuum has been fixed. You won't regret reading this series!
