A phenomenal series in the DC UNIVERSE REBIRTH that I'm surprised never continued afterwards, especially since the AQUAWOMAN is such a spectacular character. I think the reasoning was that when they tried, the whole ugly mess we now know as the Amber Heard/Johnny Deep case took place, which ripped a hole in the character's reputation (but don't quote me, aight??).

How do you make something that is obviously going to happen come out so readable and interesting? No, really Dan, how? Teach me how to write.

The series was a great buy.I wanted to know more about Mera. I liked that it built upon the new 52 backstory. It stayed true to what we knew of what the characters were ocean master and her background too. Art was beautiful.

Dear God Orm, why didn't you just go home? 🙄 It really sucks that his family will pay the price for his bad decisions. At least Mera now has the support of Xebel to fight against Rath. Good limited series honestly. Nice to see Mera hold her own. Her grandmother wasn't that bad after all.
