Glory Carriers: How to Host His Presence Every Day

Rate this book
We were created to reflect something or Someone. What we behold, we reflect. The more we behold the Lord, the more we look like him--and the more we see his glory released into our lives and the lives of those around us.The glory of God is irresistible. Yet seeking to sense his presence or experience his glory for its own sake misses the point. His glory is the natural outpouring of a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit. In these pages, author and speaker Jennifer Eivaz shows how you can enter into more intimate fellowship with the Spirit of God, experience miraculous encounters, and begin to see more miracles, more deliverances, and more lives dramatically changed. Here is the inspiration you need to step into the supernatural and follow God's leading--and carry his glory to the darkest places and see his kingdom come.

I love this book it combines personnel testimony as well as other peoples testimonies plus and most importantly the Scriptures to back it all up. Jennifer starts with the basics and travels deeper with each chapter and with each chapter you can dive in on your own but this book is also Great for using in small group settings as there are pointers to discuss and take you further, which can only be of benefit to the family of Church. (as in we are the Church and a part of the family of GOD).
Jennifer's style of writings reminds me of Jeff Jenson but as they teach on similar subjects I guess that isn't unexpected, but their content is not identical but may cross paths at times but are both unique in the way the Holy Spirit moves them.
This book is a book that's going to bring you joy as you allow it to because in my opinion it is full of helpful advice on letting the Holy Spirit loose into tour life, and well I'll let you experience that in the unique way The Holy Spirit move on and in you.
I love that some of the signs being witnessed now are looked at and explain alone with the Scriptures that show that these are not just new today but are a continuous experiences from Biblical times right through to today and will be beyond into our tomorrow's. There is also sound advice on how to test that it is real and in line with Scripture and hopefully encourage you to know that all too often the ansa is yes that is the Holy Spirit you are experiencing or seeing.
I hope you not only purchase this book but get to see it actively enhance the promises and gifts of GOD in Your lives

I enjoyed this fresh look at how we can carry God’s glory with us everywhere we go and shift the atmospheres around us.

Jennifer also talks about different types of glory that is available and how can see that in the Bible.

She give a lot of great examples of people in the Bible that carried God’s glory with them, along with her own personal experiences.

A copy of this book was given to me through Netgally.com. All opinions are my own.

I don’t read non fiction often. Something about it just doesn’t keep me hooked. I like to be lost among the pages of a greatly written novel that will transport me to another place. But, once in awhile, once in a great while, I get a non fiction book that I just love. That will envelope me, wrap me up, and keep me focused. This was such a book and I’m so glad to have had the chance to read it.

Ms. Eivaz does a wonderful job with her writing. She explains that if we just grasp onto the Lord, we become like Him. She shows us how to live to show others about His grace, mercy and giving glory to Him. The way she writes, however, is a captivating way. She explains things wonderfully and leaves the reader feeling the power of His glory.

This is a great book for sharing with your church. It’s a great book for sharing with those that question about living for Him. It’s a great book to share with anyone new to the Christian faith. I definitely recommend this book with 4 stars! Wonderfully done, Ms. Eivaz! Wonderfully done!

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed how Jennifer gave me a personal balance of scripture, testimonies, and coupled it with her own personal experiences. She explained well the different kinds of glory like the Shekinah glory versus the Kabad glory. The relevancy of this book was powerful to say the least.

I definitely learned more about the intimacy found in the Holy Spirit. I love how sje taught us to present ourselves to the friend and person that is the third person in the trinity -- the Holy Spirit! I never thought the Holy Spirit in this context before Reading Bill Johnsons devotional: The Resting Place.

Following that teaching and reading this book, I feel as if I'm beginning to comprehend the true significance of the Holy Spirit. Not to mention, I love how she even addresses potential questions or concerns the reader may have with scripture, guidance, and testimonies. Loved the short prayers she did too! I'm definitely going to get some of her other books

This book started off really good with giving explanation and context in understanding what it means to be a glory carrier and the benefits of it, but then drifted off into giving examples and testimonies of how some have encountered the different versions of being a glory carrier, which is great and were all amazing and encouraging stories, but more clarity on steps to take to become a carrier in our on right or journey would’ve been great in my opinion.

This book was a special gift to me from my husband, every line as I read it was exactly what I needed in my spiritual life and in my every day life. Pastor Jen is someone I have followed for a while now, she is relatable, she is raw and most importantly she has a real relationship with the Holy Spirit. I would highly reccomend this book.

Enlightening

Book was short I expected more but all in all it was like a very good steak that finished too soon, but I really enjoyed it very much.

I definitely enjoyed the second half of this book more than the first. The most eye-opening paragraph in this book (for me):

“There are appealing arguments both for and against this (seeker friendly) church model, but the one thing missing was the intentional teaching and introduction of the Holy Spirit to the unchurched newcomer. The manifestation of His presence was widely thought to be offensive to the seeker, and so the Holy Spirit was put out of view like an embarrassing relative.”

Sadly this book was difficult for me to access. It would only download to a main computer being an Adobe document. This makes it difficult to comfortably read. I have had this issue previously but usually only with non-fiction craft or recipe books which require pictures. Please will publishers use more 'Kindle' friendly formats for reviews.
That aside, I did read portions of the book and found it to be challenging. It is a specialist book, for those really seeking a specific Christian spiritual input and American in writing and experience style. I will be interested to read it fully once it is published in a more user friendly format.
