Start, Look and Listen is a carefully-graded series of Bible reading books for children aged 10 to 11 years. The 'ideal' place to commence each cycle of the series is the red book, though a child can start with a later book without being unfairly disadvantaged. The red book in each cycle introduces basic skills and concepts which are reinforced throughout the series.

When the four books of Start have been completed, the child can move on to the second level, Look. When Look has been completed, the child can finish the third level, Listen. Each book lasts three months, making a total of three years for the whole series of twelve books.
