My wife and I read this book and it is written well, I cannot say that it's entirely Biblical. I understand that the people who contributed to it have much more experience and education than I do. I am not a Bible scholar I am simply a Christian who is looking out for his brothers and sisters in Christ. In reading this book, I just ask that you pray to the Holy Spirit, and prayerfully consider the words. After careful examination, we feel that the entire ‘jist’ of the book is a massive revival of God’s children, a great awakening that we can usher in. The prophecies emphasize a manifestation of God’s Glory and His presence without going into any real specifics.
The first thing that got my attention is that a lot of quotes in this book are referenced from the Passion Translation. The translation inserts concepts, words and ideas that the Bible gives no hints to whatsoever. To borrow from an article from Andrew Wilson (https://thinktheology.co.uk/blog/arti...) Galatians 2:19 is translated as "so that I can live for God in heaven's freedom." The original Greek (hina theō zēsō) simply means "that I might live for God." There is absolutely no indication that heaven or its freedom are in view of this text. I understand that the Passion Translation is becoming very popular but when you take the verses in this book with the rest of the book, I believe this book is meant to make you feel good.
I felt that prophecies in Prophetic Words were generally vague. I'm NOT saying that the contributors had these visions, dreams or messages. I believe they do have the gift of prophecy but the visions are vague. "I am going to remind My people again of their victory in Me. I am going to reveal Myself in powerful ways as the King of Kings, the Lord of Victory, the God of Breakthrough, the Warrior God. I am going to remind My people again of their victory. Where they have forgotten, I am going to remind them again who I am and who they are in Me. The mighty demonstrations of My power are going to suddenly shake My people awake in new ways. My people have begun to wake, but there is going to be a glorious, violent shaking awake by My power that is going to leave My people in awe of who I am."
The first prophecy (No More Delay!) has some unusual parallels to Scripture. In talking about Haggai 1:2 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: These people say the time has not yet come to rebuild the house of the Lord.” The contributor speaks “we assume, using natural wisdom and logic, of course, that God wants us to build ‘buildings.’ Not simply church buildings, but more so, build natural things with Christian labels as opposed to building Him a place to dwell right in the middle of the gates of hell. The Lord actually desires a dwelling place positioned at the gates of hell – they pose no threat to Him.” The contributor then goes on to mention “Jesus announced this when defining the purpose of His Ekklesia (a called out assembly or congregation) reference in Matthew 16. Matthew 16:17-20 states: “ Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah. It’s true that Jesus states that the gates of Hades/Hell will not overcome His church, where does it say that He wants a church in Hades?
To close out, I am not a Bible Scholar, a professor or anything other than God’s humble servant with the gift of Teaching. With very rare exception, I’m not saying that this book is unbiblical (although I do question the part about Jesus’s church in hell.) It just seems like the book is trying to further a movement or reformation in the church and to bring peace, hope and the feeling of “something is coming!”
Something is coming – the rapture of the church to be with our Father and the judgement upon the non-believers and the wicked who refused to believe in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Book Review. Prophetic Words for 2019 compiled by Larry Spark 200 pages.
A great book with different Prophetic voices sharing insights into God's plans and agenda into 2019 and the coming years, for the local to global Church or body of Christ to nations and the general culture across different spheres of influence.
The introduction opens with the Author, Larry Sparks, noting the insight he received on “The prophets will prophesy” and he opens the first chapter with the Topic, “No More Delay” where he shares insights into why many prophecies are delayed, how the church has a key part to play in praying, acting and positioning for the fulfilment of prophecies.
Many prophets and prophetess shared different words for the year 2019 and beyond from, the new era, the profound use of the media for cyber evangelism, gospel promotion according Patricia King, the fulfilment of the Harvest of a Billion Souls for Jesus in the years to come according to Bishop Bill Hamon, Becca Greenwood shares on Convergence of Glory and Authority, there were also many messages about the era of the Holy Ghost, and key points on moving from survival to revival.
Fiorella Giordano sheds highlights on The Trust of God, Wealth Transfer and a Merging of Mantles, Larry Sparks caps it all up with practical words on A Coming Revival Greater Than The Charismatic Movement while noting the key action points of filling the gaps and moving from taking the revival beyond the church and just reaching the gentiles to invading the structure and reformation across culture and the different spheres of influence.

I thought it would be a ingesting read to see what the prophets had written about this year but it turned out to be a inspiration and encouragement that will i hope be the same for you. The fact that they all the in should be no surprise to any believer but I'm guessing it will be. So if you want to be insisted and encouraged this is a good place too start.
