After startling revelations about her family history, Sage travels to the River Run Mountains to help restore an ancient water source to the River Wolf Lands. It’s the least she can do, since her ancestors were indirectly responsible for the devastation caused to the River Wolf Clan by a malicious dragon centuries ago.
What she doesn’t expect is to find is her mate.
Wolf shifter, Patrick, is happy that past mistakes are being put where they belong. In…well…the past. However, when Sage, a descendant of the Stone Claw Clan, arrives in River Wolf Lands past and present collide.
Secrets long buried are unearthed and the descendants of the two clans, with the help of dragon shifter, Emilia, will do whatever it takes to find the truth.
Can past mistakes really be forgiven, and old wounds healed? Find out in River Run Wolf.
Harmony Raines loves to write romance filled with magic and love. Her men are usually not so alpha, but they know how to treat their fated mates, or alien lovers well.

Just my way of saying thank you for giving my books a try.
We finally get some answers about why the dragons were put under the Ancient Sleep spell. And some closure for them as well. With the water flowing for the River Wolf clan once again, Sage will meet her mate. In many ways the children of their ancestors will bring them all full circle in healing and understanding.
I enjoyed River Run Wolf, for the most part, the story part. It is jarring to be yanked out of the story when a dragon’s mate is given her brother’s name at an important part of the story. That’s a proofreading, editing mistake that should have been caught. With the mystery of the dragons solved, and Sage’s family’s part also understood it will be interesting to see where this series will go from here.

Closure for Dragons and Bear Claw and. Wolf shifters
I highly recommend readers start with the first book of this series and read in order as this will keep all the character's life stories especially in order. While each book is stand-alone, continuity will make everything fall in place. It is like reading about your friends--you do not want to jump from baby to adult and not know what happens in between. All the stories are interesting, and one will not regret taking the long road.
I love all these people and wish I lived in their circle. Imagine having friends who could shift in dragons, bears and wolves! Imagine flying on a dragon"s back! Imagine knowing when you meet your one true mate, and that you never have to worry about infidelity.
Harmony Raines is a marvelous storyteller. I have never been disappointed.
I enjoyed watching Sage and Patrick in this next installment of Return to Bear Creek. These are all quick reads and a lot of fun. The pace is fast, the tone is hopeful, the storyline is more character oriented than action, with a few surprises and slightly steamy scenes along the way. I liked how both were willing to give up their childhood home for the other, and how it all works out in the end.
Read these in order, just this series of you want, or start with Bear Bluff, then Bear Creek, then Return to Bear Bluff and Return to Bear Creek, along with the Silverbacks and Second Chances after RTBC 15 or so! If you enjoy your shifter romances with more character development and a little excitement, then these are for you. Enjoy!
I've enjoyed all the Return to Bear Creek books. I've found them loving, interesting and humorous. The occasional (shifter) violence fits the culture of their society. Although this was one of the simpler, quieter stories, Patrick and Sage are beautiful people with a long family history of a feud between her Stone Claw Clan and his River Run Clan. But as fated mates they begin to overcome their family's past hostilities. A journey of foreign intrigue to settle the past and plans to create a new, united future is positive and joyful. However, this is the first of this series where typos and misused names detracted from the story. If these errors are corrected this book would easily be a four star rating.
I enjoyed reading this story. However, I felt that the story jumped around a little bit. It was like reading a synopsis of a few different stories. Even though I felt this I enjoyed this story. I was looking for more about Sage's ancestors. The passion wasn't here like in the previous books. After taking some of the bolders away from the man made dam, water flowed into the dried river bed. None of the four(Sage, Patrick, Emilia and Thorn) people knew if more boulders would need to be removed or not. We don't know if more boulders were needed or not. There seemed to be a lot of lose ends.
You know, I really liked this story, I love the series and all the dragons are pretty awesome. The only problems I had with this one are minor editing issues and incorrect character names. Emilia and Magnus are Dragon siblings. We met them in Books 18 and 19. Magnus' mate is Ruby and Emilia's mate is Thorn. Knowing this, and reading that Magnus really isn't in this book, Thorn's name was Magnus on a few occasions which was confusing. Sighs.
I was so looking forward to read the story of the Chance siblings and this one was a very good start!!!! Sage, a bear shifter, find in Patrick, a wolf shifter, her fated mate. However, due to their long family history there is lots to be considered. The plot and story line are Well thought, packed with intrigue, suspense, action and romance. This was a fantastic read that anwsers quite a few questions raised in the last 3 books. Highly recommended.
It seems Harmony just can't get away from the residents of Bear Creek, and I for one, am so glad! Looking to the future rather than dwelling on the past seems to be the underlying message in this story. Search out your history and pass it down, but then leave it where it belongs. I love every single one of these stories!
Sage and Emilia looking for answers to questions about their past travel to river run mountain where they met Patrick who is Sage's mate but also whose family is tied also to her ancestors. Would they accept or reject each other and would their search for answers from the past bring healing or more heartache.
There is always room for another mate, family or new friends
This series never ceases to surprise me. There is always an adventure mixed with excitement, romance and a strong sense of family. Once enemies now family and friends. Sage and Patrick's story was full of love, sadness and happiness. The Dragons have a little more closure and hopefully a sense of peace.
Reading the previous few books will help you understand this book better. A very enjoyable read that answers quite a few questions raised in the previous few books. Love the closing of a circle and the intertwining of more. New characters and places for us to return to. The fates really have been busy. I was kindly given a copy by the author but read this in KU. This is my honest review.
I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this wonderful, entertaining shifter romance What you will find in this book is: intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, adventure, action, secrets, mates, family issues, some conflict, passion & love The plot and story-line is well-thought out and written, . The characters are interesting with individual personalities. I would recommend this book.
What a great story, we finally figure out what happened so long ago that put the dragons to sleep. Nice to see that Sage gets her happy ever after and the answers of the past and her future. Love the series can't wait for more. Harmony Raines does it every time.
Sage wants to know more about the River Wolf Clan, but when she gets there she finds more than she bargain for. Sage is from the Stone Claw Clan who are bears, when she get there she finds her mate, a wolf! I love how these books can be read in their own or after each other for a bigger story!
And so it begins a means to an end with Emilia and Magnus finding their father remains and laying him to rest by his mate side..And Sage got her wish and found her mate at Wolf River, and looking forward to the future with new beginnings and lots of adventure to come..Loved it big fan Winzie19💞.
Sage and Patrick are good together. But the star that outshines them is Lupe, he is very likeable. He reminds me of May was who is 88 and has dementia. But he is very much the funny man always doing what he shouldn't. Love this series, yes all 21 of them. I look forward to reading more.
The lives of River Run Wolves, Stone Claw Bears and the awakened Dragons intersect to reveal the history that binds them together in the present. This is a lovely story of strength, honor and sacrifice that leads to love and understanding hundreds of years later. I'm curious as to what happened to the evil Karim though?
I enjoyed reading this book as much as all of the other books in this series. I liked having questions answered that were raised in other books. I am never disappointed with the stories. I just hate to see them end. I always want more. I just really enjoy the stories.
Wow she done it again another great story. I finished the book wanting more. I couldn't put the book down until the story was done. I'm wondering whose next sages brothers? Which one whose his mate? Wow can't wait. Happy reading. I recommend this whole series to my family and friends.
Kindle unlimited purchase By Harmony Raines... No I don't want to stop and you can't make me on to book 22... If you haven't started reading the series where have you been start NOW! You will not be disappointed yes every book has their own characters but you still get to see the one from previous books...
When Sage goes to River Run Mountains she doesn't expect to find her mate or that she and Emilia would find that their families are connected and answers to the connection.
A story of a mystery and love, enlarging the family and business with new friends.
Sage always dreamt of finding her mate, her prince charming. Meeting Patrick she knew immediately he was her mate. She never thought it would be a wolf. Even though her bear finds it amusing. Secrets from the past come to light and unanswered questions are finally answered. Wonderful book in the series
Emotional story for both Emilia and Magnus. Finding out the how and why their father. Losing parents once is enough only to find the truth and that involved digging up the remains only to butt him next to his wife and mate. Wonderful characters with a lot of heart and love to share.
I love how each book of this series is all interconnected. I noticed in a few chapters of this book and previous ones, there are mix up of names of characters. I guess whoever proof-read the books did not read it properly or already confused with all the characters in the series..
I LOVE the Bear Creek and Return to Bear Creek series.
It blows me away how author Harmony Raines is able to come up with no ideas for bringing dates mates together. Every story is a stand alone, but they still manage to be connected. Cheers to many more!!
Another stand alone in a series that's like trying to eat just one M&M ! What happens when a bear shifter and a wolf shifter are assisted by dragon shifters to research, understand, and right an old wrong? Read this and find out! Another great read!
Good book. Great characters. Loved Sage and Patrick. The whole series has been very good. Well written as always. Harmony Raines always writes a good story, that keeps your interest.
This was another awesome adventure and I really hope there's another adventure in book 22. I love reading your series, because I feel I'm in another time and place. Please don't stop writing, because your series are a break away from life. Thank you Cherie A good
This is a wonderful afternoon read and even though it's can be read as a stand alone it answers a lot of questions from the previous Dragon books. The story is sweet and passionate and has a wonderful HEA.
Omg couldn't put it down loved the characters and the storyline hoping there's more in this series as the author can hold your attention so it's a well deserved five stars and I would recommend this book to everyone
