As a student, I thought examples weren't helpful and because the homework problems were far more complicated than the examples. This is my personal least favorite textbook and I really don't recommend it for teachers who can't clearly explain EVERYTHING clearly.
I did not find the examples in this book to be helpful. Many of the homework problems were much more complicated that anything that I was taught in class. Typical. My edition came with online access so I rarely use the paper version. Almost all of the homework problems have been worked on Yahoo Answers. Thank goodness!!
Excellent introduction to Physics.. Pra-U students sould use this as references.. The examples in this book are really clear and help us to master the basic concept of physics..
