First of all: HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS???

Anna is one of my favorite books of all time, and to get a glimpse - even if it's just for a single scene - of Anna and Étienne after the novel ends, and before they graduate...I'm so in love with these two. I'm in love with their love.

This was a cute short story. It was just...too short. I was hoping to see something longer than just that . I love Anna and The French Kiss. It's my favorite one out of the three books. So I was hoping to see more Anna and Étienne content. But oh well.

Are you telling me that there's a novella/short story to 'Anna and the French Kiss' that takes place after the events of the book and I never knew about it? And I'm only finding out about it now? UNACCEPTABLE!

It was very very short and it was cute, but it's been many many years since I read the book and now I'm thinking if rereading AatFK and its companion novels would be worthy and non cringe worthy for my adult self.

Don't ask...I don't know why I read this but I did and even though it was fine I was reminded of my mortal enemies mr. Cheater-McGee, and miss I-like-films-but-only-american-films-foreign-films-aren't-real-films. That aside this was fine.

Cute short little scene. I love when authors give a perspective of the characters after the book finishes but this one was pretty pointless. It doesn't answer any of the character plot holes from the novel and doesn't tell you much about time and setting. If you read the novel you might as well read this but it doesn't help much with the novel.

Hell I was so excited when I knew about this, but this was way too short for it to be even considered a scene and the content was boring. I recommend you read the alternative chapters on her website instead, they are far more interesting.

POR QUE NO SABIA DE LA EXISTENCIA DE ESTO? Soy una total decepción, años teniendo a Anna and the french kiss como mi libro favorito del mundo y no sabía que existía esta hermosa historia de ellos dos😢😢. Pero ya la leí y sigo amando a estos dos como siempre. Es que, pueden Étienne y Anna ser más adorable? No lo creo.
Esta historia mega corta llenó un vacio en mi corazón que no sabía que tenía y que obvio necesitaba.

I loved Anna and the French Kiss and had high hopes for this super short written story. Unfortunately, it felt different than the novel itself. I had no idea why. Perhaps it was the writing style? Nevertheless, it was okay.

“Our eyes lock. My heart beats harder. His breath grows faster. Étienne presses his body back down against mine. And then, suddenly, his hand is at my left ear, and he's pulling up the top to make it pointy.

I raise an eyebrow.

"Nah," he says, after admiring it for a moment. "I prefer you as you are."

OMG. I didn’t know Anna and the French Kiss had a bonus scene AND a deleted chapter available on Stephanie Perkins’ website!! I read them as soon as I found out. I wasn’t sure whether to count this on my 2021 reading challenge as one book, but together with the deleted chapter, I figured why not?

I can’t stop myself from grinning like an idiot while reading this bonus scene and enjoying the deleted chapter. I felt like I was able to experience the book once again. I’m happy I found out about this. I hope everyone who loved the book knows about this too! Fun and fast read. 3.75/5 stars! ⭐️

Apenas son unas líneas, pero me ha encantado ver a mi Étienne y Anna de nuevo.
He leído muchos libros, pero Anna and the French Kiss sigue siendo mi libro favorito. Es la sensación de volver a tu hogar después d un largo viaje, de ver a la persona amada tras una larga ausencia, de una sencilla tarde con una bebida caliente, una manta y un buen libro.
Para mí ellos, el libro, es eso.
