The truth is, there is nothing more powerful than a simple string of words strategically sprinkled over with a perfect amount of context. Kingdoms have been built up and fallen to ruin when certain people speak guilefully with their tongue into the right dance of words. Words are enlightening, conjuring of the heart's most intense fears, or collected thoughts of a somber emotional strength. We tend look to words for a calm guidance for a smooth release in times of need. My whole short life is founded on learning the value of the English lexicon. And even still, I am left to my own will humbly learning to evolve my understanding of how complex the written word is to comprehend. "She" is a modest attempt to bring together a vivid collection of words purposefully plopped together in a stream of consciousness laid out from my soul's mind to this paper in one long train of thought... Sort of like that last sentence. In other words... This book is a collection of old and new poetry, lyrics, and philosophical thoughts that have been compiling over the years since 2006. In addition to new material, I have gone back and included revised versions of poems previously released. Any song lyrics are from my studio band, "ALTAYON". About the author

Thomas J. Bellezza is a New York-based author and consultant. After a successful career in music and entertainment, he shifted his focus to writing, stand-up comedy, and acting. Over the past decade, he has built a reputation for helping others and raising awareness of important issues. His notable accomplishments include "Laundry," a TV series that MGM requested, and "Letter of Reason," his first production for the theater, which received excellent reviews. He has also worked on projects such as "The Super Hero Villain," "All In The Course," "Bad Mexican," and "The Monologue Chronicles." In 2016, his work on the TV series "The Circle" garnered a lot of attention, leading to meetings and pitches in LA. He was also chosen as one of 12 finalists out of 15,000 entries in the 2017 Pitch Fest. During the pandemic, he shifted his focus to full-time writing and consulting, working on several novels and self-help books.

This is not an attack on nontraditional formatting of poetry texts. It is an appeal to all poets that they swing a razor blade enthusiastically at their work so, in Bellezza’s own words, the poetry can be “…freeing.”

It's a whole lot of mixed feelings throughout the whole journey, because yes this book takes you on one! I must say it's amazing poetry and really worth reading, and even the way the author expresses himself shows how much of a real person he is. One word - Amazing Thank you for this.

A true "bricolage" from Mr. Bellezza -- not only poetry, but snippets of lyrics, lyrics as prose-paragraphs (and sometimes the reverse), all bracketed by essays and autobiography. (Self) portrait of the artist as a not-quite-as-young-as-he-used-to-be-man (but ain't that so for all of us?), though clearly still young in spirit!
