Eleventh Hour
Trevor MacGilvey vanished eighteen months ago, after reciting a spell from an ancient grimoire. Since that day, his twin sister Sara has been searching for him.
Now Sara finds herself stranded in the small town where she and Trevor spent childhood summers, but she doesn’t know if she’s deluding herself with nostalgic memories or if her brother is in fact trying to send her a message. Adding to her confusion is the town’s almost frantic demolition of the hardware store – a building Sara doesn’t recognize – and the townspeople’s insistence that she stay away from it at all costs.
What had happened to the town she knew? What would a condemned hardware store have to do with her brother? Sara feels more and more that she’s somehow in danger, but if she can solve this mystery in time, she may be able to save Trevor and finally bring him home.

My philosophy - in writing and in life - is that the vast majority of problems can be solved with love and bravery, and I try to create characters who act according to that belief despite their very human feelings of fear, hopelessness, or doubt. My stories tend to be action-based, and the relationships in them - rather than taking center stage - form the stable hub around which the characters are able to be their best selves.
