This is the first-ever series of in-depth dialogues with the current Prime Minister of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile, Samdhong Rinpoche, presenting his views on the plight of Tibet and Tibetan Buddhism in the face of the communist Chinese invasion.
Real book for someone who is stony hard head like myself. Just love it. Thank you Rinpoche la for speaking the truth as always.I did read this book once very fast cos I borrowed from someone and today I am buying for 6th July gift for myself English version.Next time I will read in Tibetan and would love to see the difference but my Tibetan is too weak these days. Also I used to listen to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and you in our own mother tongue where no mixing ie the translation is required.THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM MOST OF HEART FOR ALL YOU DID AND STILL CONTINUE DOING EVEN THOUGH WE FAILED TO NOTIC.LONG LIVE RINPOCHE LA. ALWAYS HAVE DEEP RESPECT.
Primarily written as a dialogue between a "Dr" and Rinpoche this highly accessible text introduces some of the foundational ideas, texts, values and persons central to Buddhism. The text follows the increasingly popular model of "science" vs. "spirituality" (see: Ken Wilber or Dalai Lama) where the ladder supersedes the former in terms of understanding Absolute Truth, which cannot be perceived by 'ordinary mind.'
