The block trembled and broke apart inside his chest. He lowered his forehead to hers, and tears began slipping from his eyes as he finally cried since he’d heard the first love of his life had left him forever. She stroked his hair and kissed his cheeks and held him through his tears. And he knew then that Sydney was part of his soul and had changed him forever.

This was hands down, my FAVORITE in the ”Billionaire Builders” series! Throughout each installment, we were given tiny pieces to Tristan and Sydney’s story. It was obvious that they shared a past that was filled with heartbreak and regret which later turned into intense resentment on both sides and out of all the couples in this series, these two intrigued me the most. Tristan was my favorite Pierce brother! This story was packed with angst, smoldering steam, and utter heartbreak which at times had tears streaming down my face. Jennifer Probst has written another sensational series! If you love the ”friends to lovers/second chance romance/enemies to lovers” tropes, then you will definitely want to check this one out!

Tristan Pierce has always been the level-headed brother who keeps his emotions well hidden from the outside world. To most people, he may seem cold but a few who are close to him know that his strained relationship with his father and then the devastating loss of his mother had affected Tristan deeply. The one person aside from his mother who was closest to him was Sydney Greene. Sydney has known the Pierce family since she was a young girl. She’d been in love with Tristan at the tender age of eight. Since there was a huge age gap between them, Tristan only saw her as a little sister, but all that changed when she turned eighteen.

 photo AONAA_Teaser6_zpsohk4vn0o.jpg

Sydney was raised by her grandparents after her parents abandoned her. She spent most of her childhood years hanging out with the Pierce brothers and their parents considered her to be the daughter they never had. She adored the family but Tristan had always captured her heart. When he finally notices her, they carry on with a secret affair because they knew if Tristan’s family ever found out there would be hell to pay since they were so protective over Sydney. But everything falls apart when Tristan’s mother dies a year later. Overcome with grief, and fed up with his father’s constant criticism, Tristan announces that he is moving to New York City. He asks Sydney to come with him but she was only nineteen and her whole life revolved around her job at Pierce Family construction. But mostly it was the fact that Tristan had never told Sydney that he loved her. She was afraid to run off with him because although he was the love of her life she doubted she meant the same to him.

When Tristan comes back home six years later there is obvious hostility brewing between the two. So much that was left unsaid and misunderstandings kept their true feelings buried deep in mutual heartbreak. A huge project that could land the Pierce brothers a contract with a very successful real estate businessman from NYC ends up forcing Tristan and Sydney to work closely together. Although they may seem to despise each other, deep down there’s a burning lust that neither of them was going to be able to contain and when they give in to their desires it’s like a dam breaks and it becomes impossible to keep their hands off each other. Tristan lost Sydney once but he is determined to claim her and nothing is going to get in his way – or so he thought.

 photo AONAA_Teaser5_zpsnzt3mbdp.jpg

A painful secret is revealed and it just might be something the couple will never be able to recover from. Hearts will be shattered and lives will be forever changed.

ALL OR NOTHING AT ALL releases on July 25th! It can be read as a standalone but I would recommend that you read the previous books because this happens to be one of Jennifer Probst’s best! Her fans are sure to enjoy it!

It pains me to write this since I love the author and the Pierce brothers so much, but All or Nothing at All disappointed me so much. I absolutely loved the first half of the book, but the second part? I'm joining the minority by saying I didn't like it at all.

PROS:

✓Second chance romance
The story is about two people who have a deep connection but were separated by a decision that changed their lives forever. Two seemingly strong characters with their own baggage (Tristan with the loss of his mother, and Sydney with the pregnancy) find their way back into each other's lives and still have that inevitable spark.

✓Sydney the power woman
Sydney grew into a strong, powerful woman who will fight for what she wants. After working for Pierce Brothers for so long, she believes she deserves the CFO position (she does), and so she convinces the real Pierce brothers to give her the promotion. She doesn't cower in front of alpha males but faces them head on. Plus, she's a wonderful single mother to Becca. I didn't agree with her decision about Becca back then, but I understood where she's coming from.

✓The rest of the Pierce brothers and their SOs.
It brought me so much joy to see Cal, Dalton, Morgan, and Raven again. To see them settled/on their way to being settled.

✓The family dynamic of the Pierce brothers and their SOs
Despite their falling out in the past, the three Pierce brothers are close again, and their SOs (plus Sydney) are as thick as thieves. They have each other's backs and would protect each other. I loved that so much.

✓Becca
Sydney's adorable child. So pure. So innocent. So lovely.

CONS:

✕Dub-con (dubious consent)
This bothered me the most. Sydney kept saying no, but since Tristan saw lust or whatever in her eyes, he went on until she gave in.

✕Tristan Pierce
I loved him at first, but my heart hurt for Sydney. I mean I get why he's angry, but I think his decision after the revelation was selfish. He didn't even consider Becca and Sydney. He also treated Sydney like his property. It was frustrating.

I stopped rooting for their happy ending in the middle of the story. I wanted Sydney to leave Tristan because I don't think she deserved the way he treated her. No grand gesture should be enough. They'd need tons of marriage counseling to fix what they have.

I'm still a fan of Jennifer Probst, but I guess just because we like the author doesn't mean we're always going to love their work...

All or Nothing at All by Jennifer Probst is a 2017 Gallery Books publication.

This third installment in the ‘Billionaire Builders’ series is centered around Sydney Green and Tristan Pierce.

Sydney loved Tristian practically her entire life. But, because of their age differences at the time, it took Tristan a little longer to notice Sydney.

Just when the two had finally gotten on the same page, their lives took them in different directions, and the relationship fell apart.

Tristan left home to find his own niche and Sydney stayed behind to care for her grandmother, continuing the job she loved at Pierce Brothers. Sydney, however, has always kept a part of Tristan with her…

I’ll be honest, I had a hard time transitioning from the ‘Searching’ series into this one. Granted, I was in the midst of a major romance novel burnout when I read the first installment in this series, and my heart just wasn’t in it.

So, I didn’t read the second book, fearing I might be too hypercritical of it. But, I noticed, when this third installment was released, it was highly rated and so well received, I felt a small twinge of excitement, and thought maybe I was ready to give this series a second chance…

And as everyone knows by now, I’m pretty big on second chances, especially when it comes to romance novel tropes.

However-

As much as I love ‘second chance at love’ tropes, there are other romance novel tropes I dislike vehemently. Sadly, this book employed one I dislike more than all others.

However, I did want to see how it would all play out in the end so I continued with the book despite my irritation, and because the story did get off to a strong start- and I was in a forgiving mood, after all.

But, despite my determination to maintain a positive outlook, once again, I felt as though there was nothing all that original or special here.

The emotional connection that I craved never fully materialized. While the bedroom scenes were steamy and very passionate, it felt like 'just sex', with no tenderness,or bonding, creating yet another emotional disconnect for me.

The plot line turned predictable, although the excerpts from the past were a nice touch and allowed Tristan’s character to show growth and provided him with the insight he needed to catch up to Sydney’s maturation.

I did like Sydney and admired her for doing the right thing, for taking care of her own career aspirations and ambitions with style and cunning, as well as for refusing to settle for what little Tristan was offering.

But, it wasn’t until the bitter end that I grudgingly accepted Tristan, but, to be fair, he does man up and show Sydney that he’s made of better stuff than what he’s been giving her.

The epilogue was sweet and I enjoyed the obvious peace and contentment that closed out the series, ending it on high note.

Overall, this was not my favorite series, and does not compare to other series by this author, but it was okay. I had just hoped for a little more.

Jennifer Probst has hammered her way into my heart once again as she builds and nails the foundation of love in this sweet, charming and emotional second chance romance in All Or Nothing At All.

photo fc73da30b4823082e2a2619b36fd24_zps5xnlvmnd.gif Kissing her again was a primitive, animalistic leap into the unknown with no markers set up on the path. It was darkness and light, past and present, vicious hunger and aching tenderness. He couldn’t get enough.”

Sydney Greene has loved Tristan Pierce all her life. He was her first love and will always have a place in her heart but when Tristan left to go to New York, she let him go to pursue his career. She also didn’t inform him that he was the father of her child. It was her secret to bear until it was time to tell Tristan the truth.

#theStoryOfUs

After the death of his mother,Tristan Pierce was angry and lost. He needed to get away and wanted Sydney to go with him to New York but she said she couldn’t. So when Tristan left Sydney behind, he became a different man.

photo fc73da30b4823082e2a2619b36fd24_zps5xnlvmnd.gif She loved Tristan Pierce with her heart and soul. Somehow she needed to believe he felt the same way. She had to fight to make sure they got their second chance, even if it meant pushing past uncomfortable boundaries and forcing him to take a risk.”

Upon Tristan’s return back home, his relationship with Sydney have been a little tense. He’s stubborn and she’s headstrong and so when they have to work on a project together, old feelings begins to resurface. Tristan then realizes that Sydney has always been the one and so he makes it known to her that he will stop at nothing in winning back her heart.

#AllOrNothing1

As Sydney and Tristan’s relationship begins to get serious, Sydney knows that she must tell Tristan the truth in regards to her daughter. So what happens when Tristan discovers her secret? Will he be able to forgive Sydney for denying him seven years of getting to know her? With all on the line, will Sydney be able to earn back his trust?

photo fc73da30b4823082e2a2619b36fd24_zps5xnlvmnd.gif She never wanted to hurt him. Time would build trust. Forgiveness. Time would bring hope. Sydney dragged in a breath and set her shoulders for the biggest battle she ever waged. The battle for his heart. She couldn’t accept any less from him. It was all or nothing at all.”

All Or Nothing At All is a heart-tugging sweet and beautiful emotional second chance romance. Tristan and Sydney’s journey of finding their way back together will make any romance fan’s heart melt. Toss Becca into the mix, you can’t help but smile. Probst did a wonderful job bridging and tying the past and present as we see both sides to their story. The writing was fabulous. These characters will hold a special place in my heart. And the romance was palpable. So all there is left to say, go read this book and fall in love with Tristan and Sydney’s emotional journey as they risk it all for love or nothing at all.

➦I've been a big fan of this series ever since the first book came out and this third installment is my favorite one yet! Who doesn't want to read about hot builders, anyways? Tilers, carpenters, painters - bring it on!

➦The hero of THIS particular novel is a part of a construction company owned by three brothers. He, however, handles the business side of things and you know what that means, right? That's right. It means that when this guy goes to the construction site, he wears a suit.

➦But as much as I enjoyed him prancing around in a suit looking all broody, this is not the reason why I absolutely loved this novel. Being a second chance love story, this book hit me right in the feels. After reading the blurb I'm actually not so sure as to how much I'm allowed to reveal so to be on the safe side I won't be saying much about the plot.

➦It's a story about two people who grew up together and fell in love young. They get separated but get a chance at friendship again when they have to work on a work project together. I absolutely loved the writing style - the flashbacks to the past are my favorite, and they really helped me understand the depth of the characters.

➦This novel can be read as a standalone but I think I loved it this much partly because I got to read about the characters from the previous books as well. But do not worry - if you want to read this as a standalone, you will not be bored. Jennifer Probst doesn't do lengthy descriptions of unnecessary details. She skillfully makes you a part of this imaginary world and its characters.

➦If you enjoy second chance romances and "loved you since childhood tropes" do not hesitate to pick this one up! I hope you enjoy reading about Pierce brothers and their HEAs as much as I did!

4.5 stars!

My favorite book in the series! And considering how this book contain tropes that I'm usually iffy on, that is saying a lot. Tristan and Sydney's story has been teased since the first book in the series and I've been really excited to dive into their journey since then.

Like his younger brother Dalton, Tristan came back to Harrington to fulfill the conditions of his father's will. His return to Harrington brought him face-to-face with the woman he left behind.

Sydney Green was like a sister to the Pierce brothers growing up. She was the quintessential girl-next-door who happens to be in love with Tristan since forever. Their coming together was inevitable but when his mother died, the whole family imploded and his relationship with Sydney was the first casualty of that.

Fast forward to years later, Sydney is an assertive single mother who's got bigger dreams than just being an executive assistant within Pierce Construction. Her bid to become CFO put her in close Tristan. Soon enough they couldn't stop themselves from surrendering to the attraction and the unresolved feelings between them. But Sydney is hiding something very important from Tristan that could end their second chance at love.

There are so many things that really worked for me in this book that in theory shouldn't have because I've read books with this trope before and hated most of them. It rarely works for me which is why I was really surprised at how emotionally invested I felt.

I'm going into spoiler territory with this one. While I don't think knowing that in advance would ruin the book because the twist isn't really the focal point in the book. The books is more about the consequences of decisions made by Tristan and Sydney years ago than this big reveal I'm going to talk about.

Nevertheless, if you don't like spoilers, stop reading now. Go read the book first and then come back to this review, okay?

So be warned...

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Okay.

One of the tropes that don't always work for me is the hidden baby trope. Now if you've read the previous books in the series, you'd probably have an inkling about Becca being Tristan's daughter, which he doesn't know about. That was confirmed 100% in this book.

I usually don't like this trope because it seems cruel to me. But Jennifer Probst executed it so well that she made me understand why Sydney did it. She made me see the logic behind Sydney's decision, which I felt was ultimately the best decision she could have done at that time.

Another thing the author did right was she didn't make excuses for her characters. She made them suffer for that decision. I was able to sympathize with Sydney and Tristan even though I know they're both at fault in some way. You can feel Tristan anger at Sydney's betrayal but at the same time get angry at him for what he intended to do after he learned that Becca was his.

Both of them made terrible judgement calls and they both suffered the consequences. The author didn't make excuses for their actions. And they both had to work it out in order to get their happily ever after.

All or Nothing at All is well written with flawed characters that you can root for and a story that you can get emotionally invested in.

➳A story filled with second chances and opportunities that make you rehash your past and the future that you want the most...

➳This story was just way too good. I had never read anything by Jennifer Probst before and I regret that decision for sure. When I saw this book at the stands on Target I knew I had to get it and give the author a try. For sure regret not reading the previous books in the series since I have now been spoiled. However, this story was just beyond endearing and had so much charisma and love to it.

➳This is a very short review for sure. The fact that the story is in a third perspective did throw me off a tiny bit since I am not the biggest fan of pov's written this way. But overall, I enjoyed this romance much more than what I was expecting. Hopefully I will keep track of the future books that Jennifer has in stock...

Seven years ago Tristan Pierce wanted to get out of Harrington. He wanted away from his father and away from people that didn’t believe in his vision in the construction business. So he left to New York to do real estate business and show everyone that he could do it. But behind he left Sydney, with a baby he didn’t know he had.
----------------------------

4.5 She'd Always Been His Stars!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Sydney Greene is a single mother to a beautiful six year old little girl. She's worked at Pierce Brothers Construction in some capacity since she was sixteen. She practically grew up in the Pierce household, & they are like family. She'd proven herself at the office & she wanted more. Tired of being in the background she intended to fight for and get everything she deserved & had worked for all these years.

Sydney built her own life & now her focus was work & her daughter. She had no time for thinking of the past, but her ex made that difficult. Tristan Pierce, the middle Pierce brother had owned her heart since she was about eight years old. She'd always followed him around as kids and been treated like a little sister. Always hoping one day he'd finally see her. She saw how special he was. He was the kind, laid back, reserved one who was often closed off. She'd spent her entire youth trying to get him to notice her until one day he finally did. She'd adored him until he broke her heart & left her. He'd been struggling to find his place & clashing with his family. He wanted to renovate & flip houses, and he moved to New York & left Sydney behind in Harrington. He left the family business to follow his own path. Now he's been back home about a year, & Sydney is having trouble being around him & pretending to be unaffected.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

-She'd tumbled into love with him at only eight years old, and he'd been haunting her ever since.

-He'd always had a way of looking at her as if he owned her.

-Whether he was closing a deal or stripping off his clothes, he'd always held an innate animal grace that buckled her knees.

-His analytical mind was as droolworthy as his body. Hard, supple muscles balanced with a beautiful grace most men could never pull off.

-His thoroughness was legendary. Tristan was able to see a problem at all angles and attack it with a single-minded intensity and level of control. He'd once brought that same talent to the bedroom, concentrating on wringing pleasure from her body with a thoroughness that ruined her for all other lovers.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Tristan has been back home about a year & has tried avoiding Sydney, but he still isn't over her. She's always been important to him, & he never forgot her. She's pure temptation for him. Their physical connection was always explosive, & he's having trouble pushing aside his attraction & feelings. He needs to stick to business since they will be working together, but he can't help the way he craves her. She's no longer the shy, uncertain girl, but a confident, self assured woman. Her ambition turns him on. She was in control & it was sexy as hell watching her take charge. They still shared such a strong connection & chemistry. They try fighting their feelings, but their is still so much between them. Tristan decides he wants Sydney back & he's determined to get a second chance. He will prove she can trust him again & that he isn't going anywhere. He knows they belong together & is prepared to fight for her.

I really loved this book & this whole series. All the Pierce brothers have the biggest hearts and are super swoony and hot!!! Tristan's book is packed full of emotion. Secrets. Lies, love, & angst combine for an incredible story!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

-"I just want you. I want a second chance at your heart."

-She was the only one who'd stripped down all of his layers and truly saw the man he was. And she'd loved him anyway.

-It was as if she held the secret part of his heart after all these years and given it back.

It breaks my heart to rate this book so low because this story has been the one I've been waiting for.

I have loved Sydney since the beginning of this series. I loved her snark and her hard work and how devoted she was to Becca. Tristan was always stand off-ish and maybe had a hint of cockiness, but I knew there was going to be something amazing between them. Yet, it was horrible.

Yes, it finally comes out that Becca is Tristan's daughter. Of course it happens after Sydney and Tristan have slept together and tentatively started a new relationship. And then it all goes to shit.

Tristan becomes cold and even more distant. He demands they get married or he'll take Sydney to court to get full custody. He demands they share a room and sleep together because Becca needs to see her parents "happy". It isn't until the very end of the book that he realizes that he's been an ass the entire time and apparently a fancy dress and formal dinner is all it takes to be forgiven.

I couldn't rally back from this one. I hated the way he treated her. I hated the way he thought about her as property and the constant thought of "taking what was his" and "claiming her." I get being angry and reacting, but he refused to talk things out with Sydney. She literally had to do what he said. There were no options.

The saving spots for me were that he was adorable with Becca and I loved seeing the other couples. If not for those parts, I would have DNF'd.

All or Nothing at All is a standalone and is part of the Billionaire Builders series. The series focuses on the Pierce brothers. This is Tristan and Sydney’s story.

I’ve been dying for this story. I love a good single mama book and I have been interested in Sydney from the beginning. Like I said you don’t have to read the series in order, but Sydney (the single mamas) hold a special place in my heart.

I enjoyed the first half of the book more than the second half. Tristan is the last Pierce brother. He came back from New York to work with his brothers. Sydney and Tristan have a history. They were together, but Tristan had to leave and Sydney didn’t want to come with them.

I love a good second chance romance novel. When Tristan comes back there is so much tension. Remember, it’s two years later (because of the first two books), but it feels like Tristan is JUST back and maybe he is. He doesn’t really want anything to do with Sydney but as Sydney works her way up in the company the two work more and more together.

I enjoyed reading the parts of Sydney and Tristan working together. They had great chemistry and the mild tension made the book really juicy. The second half of the book everything shifts and changes. The book gets really angsty.

The characters are heavily flawed in the sense I believe both of them to be really selfish. I get it, one wants one thing and the other wants another. What do you do? Well, I’m a realist and the realist in me thinks one should have just been less selfish. Sounds easy enough right? I guess there wouldn’t be a book if one did be less selfish.

I enjoyed this series and I enjoyed this book, but this book made me go up and down in a roller coaster of emotions. If you want a dramatic read with a bunch of angst, issues and tension, then this one is for you.

I will say this

I've pretty much been waiting to read this story since I first started this series. The sexual tension between Tristan and Sydney was so strong I just knew their book was going to be amazing. And I wasn't wrong. I loved getting to see them finally stop fighting against their need for one another and instead started loving each other.

I'm really sad to see these brothers go but I'm hoping there will be more to come from some of the secondary characters that we got to meet along this journey.

2 heartbreakingly infuriating stars

This is the third and final book in the Billionaire Builders series, and it’s the one I have been really excited for. From the moment Tristan and Sydney were in the same room, you just know they have a history, and though on the surface there has been some animosity and they’ve pretty much ignored each other, the sexual tension that has been zinging between them for the last two books has been building the anticipation for this final book of the series. But there were certain twists and plotlines that I just couldn’t deal with, and that made this an aggravating and rage-inducing read for me that required much venting with my book buddies (thanks for that), and results in this ranty, feel-purging review.

Please note that while this is the third in the series, each book is about a different couple and this one can be read as a standalone.

Tristan is the middle of the three Pierce brothers, and is the straight-laced, serious one. The boys’ world fell apart following the tragic death of their mother and, lost, bitter and grief-stricken, they all went their separate ways. The death of their father over a year ago bought them all back together when they were forced to work together in order to save the family construction building, and since then they have mended their relationships, and each of them has found their place working alongside each other.

Sydney has been a part of the boys’ world for as long as they can remember. She grew up with them, and then began working with Pierce Construction when she was just 16 years old. She has been by their side through everything, and they have looked after her in turn as she balanced her work with being a single mother. And now, she’s ready to branch out and ask for a higher stake in the company – a move that will have her working side by side with Tristan on a huge project.

As I said earlier, Tristan and Sydney have always had a special chemistry between them and it was clear that there is some sort of romantic/sexual edge to it. There was one potential storyline for them that I was hoping couldn’t come to pass, and it was much to my disappointment when I started this book and chapter 1 revealed what I was dreading…

Now, this adds an interesting dynamic to their situation. They are working together, their animosity soon becomes grudging respect (on his side) and angst-ridden lust (on her side), and they soon recapture their easy friendship, which becomes more as their attraction to each other quickly rekindles and they find themselves falling for each other all over again. But Sydney’s secret is still between them. Will Tristan ever be able to understand and forgive the decision she made all those years ago?

Warning… spoilery rant ahead…

Beneath all of the pain, anger and confusion, you can see that there are real feelings, and there is an emotional and dramatic love story as Tristan and Sydney work to get past her lies and betrayal, and his (in my opinion, completely justified) anger and coldness. This book is an angsty ride with lots of ups and downs as they navigate their difficult situation. It’s an interesting dynamic for a love story, and a lot of romance fans will probably lap it up, and I get that, because usually I would have loved the sweet moments, the seriously passionate sexy time and the swoony declarations.

“I don’t care about then. I care about now. And the woman you are right now, right here, is the one I’m falling for all over again … I’m playing for huge stakes, Syd. I’m playing for you.”

But for all of the above reasons, this one just didn’t work for me. I was pissed off from chapter 1 and that soured everything, and it only got worse the more I had to read about Sydney’s self-righteous declarations that she did the right thing, and never even apologising for it. It’s just not ok. But bravo, Tristan for clearly being a better person than I!

The scenes with Tristan and Becca were just gorgeous, and I loved seeing the brothers all together and being a rock for Tristan to lean on, supporting him and having his back completely. There is some progression for each of their stories with their girls and an epilogue which finishes off all three of the stories really nicely. And those relationships are what saved the book from being a DNF for me.

Like the others in the series, this book is really well written, and the characterisation, dynamics and romance are all there… I just couldn’t with this one.

2 stars.

This was more of an emotional read than I was expecting. Very heartfelt and real. It has a few things in the storyline that I don't normally like to read about, but it worked. It's a second chance romance and had a secret baby. Don't worry, not spoiling anything since you learn this in the very first chapter.

I had not read the first two books but never felt lost. You can read this one as a standalone. I enjoyed the HGTV aspect of the storyline and this has a lot of great side characters. Their daughter Becca was adorable and played a big part in the story. I'm such a sucker for the dad scenes. I love reading about a father being a true dad to their children.

This had me tear up in a few places because I was very much invested in seeing this family get their happy ever after. I would like to go back and read the first two in the series. The glimpses I got of the women in the other brothers lives have me intrigued for their story. ARC provided by NetGalley.

Heroine hiding baby vs hero being a douche minus grovelling?
hero being a douche minus grovelling takes gold.
No need to support me on this, or question my qualifications as a mother, I'm not one, not planning to be one in the near future.
However I don't believe you should always put the baby before you, I certainly wish my mother put herself before me a number of time. And she can hide the baby all she wants.
Hero. Was. A. Douche.
Period.
And i wonder what kind of hell she'd have been through 7 years ago when she was actually vulnerable and breakable young woman if she told him about the baby. He is clearly not fit enough to be a father.
Bonding well with your daughter is not the only requirement to be a good dad, you need to be good human too, and that starts by paying minimum respect to the child's mother. He failed in epic proportion.

Okay so I’m going to be the black sheep on this one… and this is going to be all spoilers so don’t bother reading it you don’t like to know what’s going to happen.

Everything was going fine and wonderful… I was loving the second chance story. Tristan was trying to gain back Sydney’s love and proving to her he’s back and wants something serious … and then BAM.

I was so pissed off for the last third of this book that I’m surprised I didn’t DNF it.

The saving grace for it I guess was the way Tristan made an effort to bond with Becca but holy crap it almost didn’t.

Let me tell you what I found so … infuriating.

We’ve been led to believe that Becca is this strong, woman… she won’t take shit from anyone. But then she tells Tristan the truth and she becomes this timid mouse who he steps all over and forces to do things against her wishes. And... let’s talk about that.

Yes… it’s totally adorable when she refuses to share a room with you and you hunt her down each night forcing her to sleep in the same room under the guise of “we have to make things normal for Becca”. It’s totally sexy when in doing so, she thinks she’s having a dream, but in fact it’s real life and he’s kissing her and undressing her. It doesn’t matter that she was totally okay with it in her head, you’re basically screwing around with her while she’s sleeping … after she’s repeatedly turned you down in the past… so…. NO.

 photo 754_zpsdsdinayt.gif

Also can I just mention how ridiculous the end was… after all the “I’ll never be able to love and trust you again” suddenly he finds a document that proves she wasn’t lying and all is right with the world … AND after blackmailing you he sends you a fancy dress and takes you out to a fancy dinner and poof … all that is GONE and OKAY. Again .. NO.

How am I the only one who was bothered by this?

Overall this series was kind of a bust for me. I love some of Probst’s other titles so I’ll definitely keep reading her stuff, but man this was a disappointment.

I'm so incredibly sad to see this series come to an end, and I knew Sydney and Tristan's story was going to completely shred my heart. I just didn't know HOW MUCH. Probst definitely saved the BEST for last in this series! ALL OR NOTHING AT ALL was absolutely PHENOMENAL! My heart hurts, but it is full. This is one second chance romance that will leave you with tear tracks down your cheeks and a VERY full heart.

"You're the only woman that can wreck me, Syd. I need you tonight. Don't make me stop."

Oh, Tristan Pierce, that bugger! I wanted to embrace him as much as I wanted to strangle him. Come to think of it, the same goes for our heroine, Sydney Green. But even in my frustration, my heart ached for them both, individually and as a couple. Ms. Probst definitely gives my heart a run for its money with this installment of the Billionaire Builders Series. So many ups and downs. Beauty and tragedy. Hopefulness and hopelessness. Just when I thought we were getting somewhere, something happens and my heart aches all over again. This is one romance that does NOT have an easy happily ever after. Probst makes you work for it on every possible level, that's for sure.

"They were playing a dangerous game. And eventually, someone was going to lose."

This right here is the ULTIMATE ROMANCE for me. Syd is a headstrong female. Tris is a very stubborn man. There is so much distance between them, until there is not. There is only one secret standing in their way. A secret that is sure to change EVERYTHING. A secret that could bring them closer together, or tear them apart once and for all.

"...every road in my life has always led to you."

I'm so strung out over this book! My heart is still aching even though the happily ever after was achieved. The road to that happily ever after was a tumultuous one, to say the least. I've been rooting for these two from the very beginning when I knew something was brewing between them. Ms. Probst has this way of weaving an intricate and heart wrenching romance, that leaves me breathless each and every time. If you are looking for a beauty of a read, full of love, loss, hope, and fate, look no further than the EPIC conclusion to the Billionaire Builders Series. Do me a favor and DO NOT read this book as a standalone. You have to build up to Tristan and Sydney's story with the first two books in the series, TRUST ME on this. But don't worry, because the first two books in this series is just as AMAZING as this one right here.

This series is perfectly described in the synopsis – Property Brothers meets The Marriage Bargain. Yummy builder brothers all finding the woman of their dream’s – although not without some ups and downs along the way.

This book is a heart wrenching look into the third brother, Tristan’s past love with a young woman, Sydney. A second chance at romance story that is loaded with angst, passion, heartbreak, and true love. Make sure to have those tissues near when reading this story.

Jennifer Probst has once again created two amazing characters that take us on a ride of ups and downs as they try and reconnect after many years apart. Simmering heat is felt each time they are together and you know that this is going to be an emotional ride.

Trust builds and love takes over and slowly the hearts start to mend. The never-ending love starts to flow. But with a big secret that can tear the healing apart, you are left wondering how can they ever make it through it all. Ice covered hearts are hard to break open.

But once again the amazing words are crafted just right. The depth of emotion and deep passion for each other takes over and you are left with a sigh of perfection. A fabulous ending to a wonderful story.

I am sad to say goodbye to this series, but I know anything new that will come in the future from Jennifer Probst will be amazing.

Ugh I am sad that my journey with these characters is at its end. Having never read this author before, I stumbled across a review for this book through someone I follow. I read and LOVED the Inn BoonsBoro trilogy by Nora Roberts and since this sounded similar, I was excited to give it a shot and was not disappointed.

I have a strong love for romance series that center around a family or a close group of friends where each book in centered around a specific couple but you still get small snippets of the others as well. I loved the dynamic of this one especially because there were three brothers (all smokin' hot of course) that started off the series being forced back together after their father dies and had put a stipulation in his will that unless they work and live together for a year, their family building company will be sold off. Throughout the series we then get to see them all reconnect and reforge a strong brotherly bond.

"...Tristan cares about you, sweetheart, more that I think he knows. But you need to be patient. If it's meant to be, it will happen at the right time. But don't lose yourself in trying to make him happy. You need to find yourself, too, and that takes time."

This book in particular focuses on Tristan, the middle brother who has always seemed the coldest and the most mysterious. It was hinted to in the first two books that he and Sydney, a character who grew up with the brothers and still works with them, had a bit of a passionate flame going on before he left for New York. It was obvious to me that Becca, her daughter, belonged to Tristan from the very beginning and I was so nervous to see how that truth was going to be exposed. Literally I stayed up late until Sydney told him because I was so anxious about it lol.

"Did you always feel like I was a responsibility to you, Tristan?"
He stopped the horse. Turned around. She sucked in her breath.
His eyes glittered with a fierce golden light, raw with emotion. "You were never a responsibility to me. You were a fucking gift. Never forget that."

What I really liked about this book was the passion that Probst had built between Tristan and Sydney. Seriously I was SO excited when I was approved for this ARC because I was just dying to see how this couple would finally get their HEA. Some parts were hard to read--how mad Tristan got (understandably) and then the aftermath of that (his coldness..his plan for his new family....) but I thought that it all really came together at the end and I was in tears at the last page of the epilogue. I also loved all the parts with Becca and seeing her bond with Tristan was really a thing of beauty. Ugh esp the glitter scene. IT WILL MELT YOUR HEART DAMNIT!

His entire life had been a series of steps to bring him to this moment. To her. His stupid fear and need to control almost ripped his future from his grasp. Somehow, he needed to try to make things right. Make her see how badly he needed her. Trusted her. Loved her.

All in all a solid romance series that I will probably be rereading in the future! I loved all three though if I had to choose I'd say that Dalton and Raven's book was my favorite.

Thanks again to Jennifer Probst and Gallery Books for the chance to read this eArc♥!

A swoon-worthy second chance novel with a great cover!

If you have been following this series, you know Tristan is the middle Pierce brother. He's a savvy business man who left after a big blow-out with his now deceased father after the death of his mother. In NYC, He made a name for himself flipping homes but after his father's death, Tristan came back to help his oldest brother Cal keep their company afloat and start mending his relationship with Cal and Dalton, his younger brother.

Sydney Green has known the Pierce family all her life. She fell for Tristan the first time she saw him. As a kid, she followed him like a lost puppy. With years, her feelings for him morphed into love. When Tristan finally paid her attention, she was in heaven. But, when Tristan left for NYC, he broke her heart and more. Presently, Sydney has made the Pierce's business company a success. She's also divorced and she's a single parent to a Becca, a beautiful young girl. For the last year working with Tristan has been crazy, there's still an attraction she can't deny but Sydney has a lot to lose. Getting in a relationship with Tristan and falling in love again is not something she wants to repeat. Or is it?

All or Nothing at All had well-developed characters who tugged at my romantic heart. Sydney was a bright successful woman who knew what she wanted. She was trying to protect her heart and her daughter. She was tired of being a doormat for Tristan and I applaud her for realizing it. Tristan had the default on going cold when he was scared but he was able to communicate his fears, including a heart warming discussion with his brothers. I almost got mad at him, but it was so short, I'm not sure it ever happened. There were so many scenes I liked but my favorite has to be of him and Becca preparing for her ballet event.

As always with a Jen Probst series, It was sad to say goodbye to her characters but I know she will deliver new ones to fall in love with.

"The battle for his heart. She couldn't accept any less from him. It was all or nothing at all."

I felt a bit like I had a split personality while reading this. Part of the time I would think I wasn’t sure I liked this storyline & part of the time I thought I might like this one better than the book before it.

I understood why Sydney did what she did back when she was young but why she didn’t come clean with it 2 years ago is beyond me. Tristan was a loveable character and very sexy but I will say once the truth came to light I feel like he was a bit unreasonable. I can understand the feelings at first but I think within a few weeks he should have been able to be more accepting of her dilemma.

All that being said I did have all the feels while listening to this book and even cried which by the way is embarrassing when I was at the gym working out when it happened.

Ever since she was 8-years old, Sydney’s been in love with Tristan Pierce. The Pierces were a second family to Sydney growing up, but she always had a sweet spot for Tristan. Sydney was working for the Pierce family business by the time she graduated high school and when she was 19-years old, Tristan finally noticed her. She wasn’t a little girl anymore and Sydney wasn’t going to let Tristan keep looking the other way.

Their romance was intense, a whirlwind of sorts. Sydney loved Tristan fiercely and she thought he loved her too. But just as fast as their relationship started, it ended when Tristan left the family business after a falling-out and moved to NYC to pursue his dreams. Sydney didn’t go with him—she had other things tying her to their hometown—but her heart always remained with Tristan.

Sydney’s been working for the Pierce Brothers ever since and now she also is a single mom to 7-year old Becca. Sydney works her ass off and thinks it’s finally time for a promotion. She wants to become the CFO of Pierce Brothers. Now that all three brothers are back home working together, their business is booming more than ever. And Sydney’s been going above and beyond her job description.

Having Tristan back home is shaking up all Sydney’s old feelings for him—a mix of attraction and betrayal. Tristan appears to have a chip on his shoulder when t comes to Sydney, not wanting to let her promote within the business. But what Sydney doesn’t know is that Tristan still harbors feelings for her. And the more time they spend together, the harder it is for them to deny the chemistry between them.

But Sydney has been keeping a 7-year secret that could break her and Tristan apart. How could Tristan trust her after she’s kept such vital information from him since he left for NYC? But the truth has to come out sooner or later, even if it means losing the one person who’s had her heart for almost 2 decades.

All or Nothing at All is the final installment in Jennifer Probst’s Billionaire Builders series. I wasn’t wowed by books one and two in this series, but I had high hopes for book three, since the romance between Sydney and Tristan was hinted at all along. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel the emotional connection between them. There were plenty of steamy scenes, but they felt misplaced, especially since Sydney and Tristan’s relationship didn’t have much of a foundation. I almost laughed out loud at times, mostly in regard to the flashbacks. Tristan was a real jerk and their relationship came out of nowhere and went from Tristan ignoring Sydney to rocking her world. I’m also sick of three books comprised mostly of construction-business-interior design talk. I feel the books could be shortened by at least 100 pages if that was taken down a notch. I’ve heard that Jennifer Probst’s other series are more promising, so I’m not writing this author off just yet. This series just wasn’t for me—2.5/5 stars.

This is the final book in the Pierce brothers, Billionaire Builders series, and this time it was Tristan’s turn. I feel like Jennifer saved the best till last! I have loved all of the stories but this was always going to be a very emotional one.

Tristan probably can’t remember a time when Sydney wasn’t a part of his life growing up. He has lots of memories of her spending time in his family kitchen with his late mother, she was like the adopted daughter of the family. As they grew from teenagers into adulthood they began dating each other.

After Tristan’s family was struck by a tragedy he was keen to move away from the home he grew up in, running away from the memories and pain. Sydney was very much in love with him but she needed to know in her heart that leaving with him was what he truly wanted and without doubt. This is why she ended up staying while Tristan left without her.

Seven years later and Sydney is now a divorced single mother of a gorgeous wee girl. Her life has changed dramatically since that time with Tristan and she now also works for Pierce brothers, in fact she has done for quite a few years now. Tristan has been back working in the family business for nearly 12 months but has kept a wide berth from Sydney, his bruised ego is still very raw.

When Sydney begins to get more involved in the development of the family business, her and Tristan end up spending a lot more time together and his icy attitude towards her begins to thaw. Not only that but he also starts to bond more with her daughter Becca and OMG there are so many cute moments between these two!

It does not take long for the familiar feelings between Tristan and Sydney to start creeping back into their friendship and this time things are vastly different. There are some tough subjects that need to be addressed first though, before anything serious can happen between them and talking about them may just end things before they begin. Tristan is very much an all or nothing kind of guy and he needs the same from Sydney.

This was a fantastic conclusion to this series, lots of sweet heartfelt moments and lots of emotion between this couple.

Sydney Green has been in love with with childhood friend Tristan Pierce for her whole life and when he finally notices her they share a passionate affair until Tristan decides to leave the family business and head to the big city to carve out his own career leaving Sydney behind with a broken heart and a huge secret. Now 6 years later Tristan returns home to not only fix his fractured relationship with his brothers and their family business but also fix his relationship with Sydney. I did enjoy this book there were a few conversations that took place between Tristan and Sydney that made me cringe, but overall the characters were likable, the sex was hot and the story line was engaging.

Do we remember what happened in the first 2.5 books?
The three boys' father just died and instead of leaving the family construction business to the son who has worked his ass off for the company, a lawyer tells them that all three sons need to run the company for one year - together, and make a profit?? And while doing that and fighting with his brothers Caleb fell in love with Morgan! After that Dalton and Brady both found their Happily Ever Afters ....

...and now it's finally Tristan's and Sydney's turn!
We always saw them acting weird towards each other.
And we also always suspected that Becca is Tristan's daughter! No idea why it was never mentioned before. Probably because Syd told the Pierce family some completely different story about who the father is. So that Tristan wouldn't have felt responsible and would've given up his future in NY.

But now they have to work close together on a new and very huge project for the company!

Let the fun times begin - because those feelings that were there seven years ago??
They never went away!

I ADORED THIS BOOK!!!

I just loved Tristan, Sydney and little Becca!!!

This was such an adorable and funny and heartbreaking second - chance love story.
Poor Tristan has no idea that this little girl is his daughter. It's all so very cute and moving.
I loved every minute of this book.
We have some mega sparkage between Syd and Tristan! They can't be in a room together without having naughty thoughts about each other!
But of course poor Sydney doesn't just want to be another fling for Tristan. She once wanted forever, and she still does. But she doesn't think he wants that. Plus there's the fact that she kinda never told him he's a dad. And he never told her he loved her. Not a very good foundation to build a forever-ever-after on.

But we'll get there. And the reader has an amazingly entertaining time watching them fight for their Happy End!

ALL OR NOTHING AT ALL was another amazingly beautiful, moving, sexy, funny & adorable romance in this great series! I'm sad to see this series ending! But I'm sure there will be something new & amazing from Jen soon! For now run to your nearest amazon for your own Tristan! Because this one is MINE! ☺

This was absolutely AMAZING! Hands down my FAVORITE in the series. The Billionaire Builders went out with a bang with Tristan and Sydney's story. I could not get though of these two and loved every second. My heart was pretty much exploding all over the place.

I loved Tristan and Sydney. Watching them reconnect, how their relationship developed and grew, was pretty fantastic. There is chemistry, animosity, tension, and major heat between the two. I loved learning about their histories and getting glimpses of their memories giving the story a lot of depth. I have to say, I have always liked Tristan but by chapter 7, the man completely melted me and I was totally in love with him.

There were times both Tristan and Sydney frustrated me and I wasn't always happy with their past or present decisions but it was this hard situation and I felt like a fly on the wall as these two figured it out and fell in love. I was brimming with excitement for Tristan to find out the truth, that wait and build was tense and heart wrenching. I loved the raw, vulnerability of the characters. Tristan was a complicated mess but I loved watching him grow and open up.

This was super entertaining to read. The Pierce brothers and their significant others play a big part. It felt like their were mini stories happening for them and it gave it a well rounded feel. I loved Tristan's relationship with his brothers, I am such a sucker for male bonding moments and the good natured ribbing but also that true understanding when it's needed. The women were pretty great too, loved getting to see Morgan and Raven again. I loved the lighter moments that were apart of this story as well. They were needed and perfectly timed.

The writing was awesome! I almost feel like it had two major builds in one story and both times I was on the edge of my seat waiting to get to those moments. Drama, turmoil, love, sweetness, apprehension, playfulness, sexiness, this had it all!!!

The ending was spectacular. Everything was building to this amazing moment. It broke me down and filled me up. It was the prefect ending to the series. It was an amazing story about reconnecting, second chances, family, healing, and true love. I am absolute thrilled with the conclusion and the roller coaster ride of emotions I experienced while reading, it was fantastic!

Why have I only just found this series on the last book? These are interconnected standalones focusing on three brothers in a construction/building company. I have come in on the last brother but it will be fun to retreat and learn more about the other two and and novella.

This was a lovely, meaty second chance romance, involving a child. The story is narrated mainly in the present with an occasional flashback. The story engaged me in the middle of a book slump, so it really had that 'grab you' feeling. The characters had depth, as did their stories and backgrounds. Just after mid-way this book took a turn into heightened angst. I enjoyed this whilst disliking some jerk behaviour and bad decisions from the heroine, it all fed into a good up and down story.

Sydney is a single mother working for the Pierce brother's company, she's a strong, self-sufficient woman. Tristan was her first love but they worked hard at avoiding too much interaction. When these two began to reconnect, I could feel the chemistry bubbling. When that turned into more, it was so good. There was a thread of predictability with this kind of second chance story but nothing about that reduced my enjoyment.

This was my first read by Jennifer Probst and I have a great impression of her talent. I am definitely coming back for more.

A copy of this book was provided by the publisher through netgalley, in return for a honest review.
