I believe it is my favourite book of the series so far...

...and I was really impressed with the way the vampires have stopped being the central focus of the series.
Now the werewolves and their leader (black-hearted and despicable liar) Ulvic have taken up the torch of the continuation of the story.

Jameson has proven to be a charming, sweet talker, funny, womanizer Alpha wolf; but he is not able to stay out of trouble. I was feeling so sorry for him most of the time.

Cass has taken many bad decisions in the past and has made so many mistakes which have led her to jail, to V games and to become V herself. Cass is not an easy character to like, if you know the sins of her past. So, I thought that it was a brilliant idea the fact that she needs to go through a lot of heartache in this book and suffer more in order to become likeable. I loved her .

So although Jameson and Cass seem to have a bright future together and they are now close and ready to commit; the circumstances will not let them. V games may be over, Hunters may have been defeated, monsters are happy and free, Selena and Varick are ready to enjoy the sun; but new enemies will appear. With more sophisticated weapons, more science on their side and more disgusted experiments to perform.

Before Cass gets used in being vampire, she will change again without her consent.

Mysterious Silas is sometimes kind and supportive and other times cruel and calculated. He always blames his father for his actions and his weakness is a little girl. He is a very interesting addition to the series and I am sure that he will be a more complicated character than he looks initially.

Selena and Varick, although almost non-existent in this book, will definitely play an important part in the future events.

Overall I loved it. Very imaginative and thrilling with nonstop action and a incredible cliffhanger.

4 STARS!
Death comes on silent wings, Ulvic. And it's heading your way at high speed.
Wow! After a bit of a lackluster book 3, this installment of the Vampire Games brought back the crazy, mile-a-minute, thrill-ride pacing that this series is famous for. It was absolutely packed full of What?! Shut up! No! OMG! moments.

Jameson has to be one of my all-time favorite heroes; so charming, so irreverent, so wounded . . . just so appealing on every level.
There were two things everyone knew about me. One: I was hot. Like hide-your-wife hot. And two: I was the most positive guy in the world. Ever.
Cass and I both have a huge thing for him. :D
I longed to soothe the pain I'd found inside him, even if it broke my own heart to do it.
And Ulvic has to be one of the most despicable villains of all-time.
I'd never really known how deep Ulvic's pack leader commands' bullshit could go. But it turned out, it ran deep. Bone deep. Soul-effing-deep. Deep enough to invade my god-damn emotions.
When it finally comes, I'm going to enjoy Ulvic's demise like you wouldn't believe.

Where I thought the story faltered for me was with Cass . . . she was oddly complacent throughout. And the introduction of Silas and the IDAHO organization was linked to that complacency so I haven't quite connected with that side of the plot - yet.

But there's no question that I'll be moving on to the next book. I definitely recommend this series!

Wow! I'm just blown away~ I loved the first three in the series, but I think this is my favourite so far. But seriously this serious just gets better and better, I'm soo excited for the next book!

Wolf Games is the fourth book in The Vampire Games series and continues the story of Jameson and Cass. At this point, The V Games are over and now they are living in The Sanctuary until some thing happens that Jameson has to leave with Ulvic. And Cass was captured by IDAHO. I dont want to give too much away! But omg, so many plot twists, that will make you want to not stop reading.

I loved the alternating POVs. Jameson is so much fun and has such a big ego, in a funny way. Cass one of my favourite characters,  she is so strong-willed but at the same time she is so broken; she has a great personality. Jamesons and Cass are literally perfect for each other; hehe they're adorable.

I loved the introduction of new characters and creatures that are complicated, and complex. Ah I want more already....I won't be sleeping any time soon until I know what is going to happen next.

This one has just about everything you could hope for in a book, action, adventure, romance, vampires, werewolves. Caroline Peckham is brilliant. Such a well written and fast-paced series! I highly recommend it!

My heart was a roaring fire, begging her with all its might to come closer and be warmed by its flames.

The V Games might have come to an end but the trouble is only beginning for Cass and Jameson. They are forced on separate paths with their hearts broken in pieces and must survive the dangerous journey ahead of them.

⤷ I loved loved loved this book! I didn't think it was possible for me to enjoy it more than The V Games but I did!

⤷ I found the main characters more interesting than the ones in the other books. I enjoyed Jameson cooky, humorous and confident attitude. He is completely opposite of Varick which was fun to read. I also really liked reading about Cass, she is a character that I don't completely agree with all her actions which made it more interesting!

⤷ My heart was breaking for Cass and Jameson! They went through so much in this book!

⤷ I really enjoyed how we got to read more about Mercy! She has become one of my favourite characters and I really hope we get more of her in future books!

I longed to soothe the pain I'd found inside him, even if it broke my own heart to do it.

These books are so action filled and have an amazing storyline. I highly recommend these books as they deserve so much more love!

Touch me. For the love of God, I have to feel you against me again.
My heart was a roaring fire, begging her with all its might to come closer and be warmed by its flames. --Jameson Fairfax to his lady love

5+ stars!

Gosh, this book (and entire series) is just pure magic. After the unfettered success that was V GAMES, I didn't know what more Caroline could create or how she would make WOLF GAMES unique and fresh and still entice readers with its 'werewolf' storyline. Well, boy did she prove me wrong and send my anxiety levels through the roof while flinging my heart against a brick wall repeatedly and without any remorse.
Cass was beneath me (#lifegoals), her mouth was painting heated patterns down my neck (#dreamcometrue), and I was having serious doubts (#WTFbro?). --Jameson

I have to start by saying that even though my love for Varick was instantaneous and remains unwavering, I pretty much fell for Jameson just as quickly and just as hard. I love his carefree and cocky confidence, his humor, his openness, his vulnerability. He's pretty much the exact opposite of Varick's broodiness, and his inner (and outer) dialogues were hilarious and at times heartbreaking. He and Cass go through SO MUCH TWISTED SHIT in this novel, I just can't even. Cass is such a strong and at times stoic character, but even she had her moments of vulnerability and need for comfort and human interaction. I didn't always like or agree with her actions, but I did understand them. My heart and emotions were stuck in my throat the entire time I was reading, wanting to get to the end but not wanting to get to the end.
But my heart wouldn't let her in. Like it didn't let most people in. My heart had iron doors, pass-codes and twenty-four-hour security. There was only a handful of people in the world who knew the way through. Jameson was one of them. --Cass

Overall, this novel was just as thrilling, addictive, entertaining, heartbreaking, and heart-stopping as the V GAMES series. I absolutely LOATHE Ulvic with all of my soul and wish him the cruelest and most painful death imaginable. I hope Cass and Jameson are able to weather all of the obstacles and twisty turns that Caroline has and will continue throw at them. I hope Selena and Varick remain blissfully safe and happy in their human bubble, but I have a feeling Caroline has plans for them... The cliffy she left us with is slightly terrifying and left me dying for more!!

My Jameson Fairfax, the cocky, hide-your-wife hot, and most positive guy in the world Werewolf :)

Jameson and Cass aren’t getting any down time, the amount of crap that comes their way will have you blinking, but they remain kickass as individuals and as a couple.

Jameson may be a fierce werewolf but he remains a charming and amusing one, and then there is Cass who continues to rock as a character.

Ulvic is a vile, despicable coward – when I think he can’t do anything worse he surprises me, to say I loathe him would be an understatement, the worm needs to pay – please let karma bite him hard (I’m hoping the bites come from Jameson).

This ends in a cliffy so I’m anxiously jumping to the next book.

I devoured this book. I love the first three in the series, but I think this may be my favorite so far. Cass and Jameson are everything. Ulvic on the other hand... I NEED him to get what's coming to him in the next one. And getting a glimpse into his and Jameson's history just makes all of his recent actions so brutal.

All the drama and revelations and everything that went wrong. I loved every minute of it. And that cliffhanger! The wait for the next book will be painful.

What the heck happened to this series😥...

So this book is about Cass (Selena's friend) and Jameson (the boy she doesn't like in the book before but obviously your guessing there going to be together)!

❌ This review contains spoilers on the book:❌

Anyways 😒... Then you find out Cass and Jameson are together. Jameson has to go find two wolves from his pack with the wolf pack leader Ulvic, and some lady (which doesn't really matter what her name is)!

Anyways so Cass decided she's just going to be like oh it's fine we should just have sex before you leave (which thank goodness there was not a description of it)! So after that drama Ulvic decided to come and yell at Jameson and is like your not going to touch, kiss or screw that vampire again. So she comes back to Jameson's room and she tries to hug him and he's like no don't touch me because Ulvic tells him to tell her that he's with some wolf lady and Jameson tells Cass basically she was just a game to Jim so she gets mad at him. Then he leaves its get boring! Cass gets kidnapped by some people and they cut her open and give her a wolf heart! Then the nurse is like your pregnant, and she's like how I'm a vampire!!!

❌ End of spoiler ❌

it's just so dramatic!! basically this book wasn't as good as the first book or second!

I apologize to the ones reading this because I'm terrible at reviewing books and get what I want to say out of my head! 😂

Caroline Peckham is truly an artist. You turn to page one and you don't put it down until you are done.. You are in the story with them. You feel every single emotion, and see everything she is describing. She really is amazing... You will not regret reading Jameson's and Case's story. It is their story and life after the V-Games!! I totally loved everything about it!!💖💖

I received a free copy of this book directly from the author Ms. Caroline Peckham. Thank you Caroline, this is my review.

I really tired my hardest. I really did. But I had to finish this novel as quickly as possible. I tried to make it last, but the story was too engaging. Another 5 out of 5 stars. This novel was pure adrenaline coursing through my veins the entire times reading. Also can we talk about this gorgeous cover, I can't wait to hold the paperback in my hands.

I was shocked, angry, happy, such a myriad of emotions throughout this entire novel. I am just floored at what transpires, what this novel contains and how it ends. Caroline is never predictable with her writing, her books are always shocking in the best way possible.

I can't wait for the next novel. I'm scared and excited for more. What I loved about this novel was seeing more of Jameson, and how he became a Wolf, how his relationship with Ulvic came to be. I love seeing characters back stories....even if they are difficult.

I love Cass and her fire. She is one of my favourite characters because she is so strong willed but at the same time she is so broken and self conscious. I am so intrigued about what is going to happen next, I have some theories but I will keep them to myself.

Caroline, this series and this debut novel within this world is phenomenal. V Games is now one of my favourite series of all time (right up there with Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings), and I know that Wolf games is going to continue that way as well!

Caroline is an amazing writer who really understands what a reader wants and needs. She is able to describe everything in perfect detail to the point where you feel like you to are on this ship (which is scary and enthralling at the same time). As I previously stated the story is never stagnant or boring. The story is always captivating and again unpredictable. The amount of times I audibly called out or was shocked by something was numerous throughout this novel!

I loved the introduction of new characters and creatures that are complicated, and complex. Ah I want more already....I won't be sleeping any time soon until I know what is going to happen next.

The V-Games and now Wolf-Games are must read for any reader who enjoys fantasy, action, adventure, romance; this series just hits all the spots and all the boxes. This series is so addicting, you will seriously be calling sick into work to stay home to read all 4-novels back to back. They are enjoyable to re-read, as the characters and the plot are so unique and memorizing.

Congrats Caroline on another smashing success!

Well I find that i like the new Mercy and I'm glad that they are fighting back. I like the way that we are concentrating more on the wolves and getting Jameson side of things. I like the idea of how they are changing and the added extra for Cass. I just hope that they can all meet back up.

Hands down the best book in the series! I'm impressed and delighted to say this series started off solid and just keeps getting better and better!

*Full disclosure- This is my third attempt at writing a review because I'm trying not to be overly dramatic while explaining how great this book was.*

After Jameson (handsome ray of sunshine and sexiness) was introduced earlier in the series I wanted to know more about his character. The unabashed ladies man with a heart of gold. Jameson, Jameson, Jameson- you stole my heart when you helped Cass accept her vampire existence.

What tremendous angst and passion Jameson experiences in this book! I loved how it started off with a "bang" (pun intended!) and then my heart was ripped out moments later. Great writing Caroline Peckham! Ulvic continues to torment Jameson and the rest of his wolves. I will rejoice the day that character is killed off. Fingers crossed it's sooner, rather than later! Beautiful and fierce Cass doesn't have it any easier than Jameson and in order not to spoil an AWESOME surprise I've left my description of her role in the book intentionally vague.

QUESTIONS;
Two questions arose but maybe I'm overthinking things. Please comment with your feedback so I know if I'm on the right track or way off base.
Firstly, The previous book ends with a miraculous transformation from vampire to human. The lead scientist, Brendan, is trying to determine how this wonderful medical oddity occurred so he can offer the cure to other vampires. Answer me this... how could he LEAVE his work to spend time with his formerly estranged family?!? Yes, Varick got his "happily ever after" but there are still so many Vs being tormented by their blood thirst and inability to be in the sun. Certainly Brendan would have stayed behind to explore their most recent findings. Can you imagine being Cass or one of the other vampires watching him leave? I'd hog tie him to his lab desk until he saved everyone!
Second question, If the wolves are being manipulated in such a cruel manner by Ulvic's commands why don't they consider damaging their ear drums? In one scene they cover their ears and make a racket to try and drown out his voice/commands. Couldn't they damage their ear drums, kill Ulvic, and then take larkspur to heal?

I'm delighted to offer this honest review and am grateful the author honored me with an early copy. Now I beg that she get back to her writing desk to finish the next installment! I can't wait to see what happens next with my favorite characters!

The cliffhanger atThis is an amazing series and now that we are getting Cass and Jameson's story, it is just getting better. Even though Cass and Jameson have done terrible things, it is hard to dislike them. They make each other better people. I hate that Ulvic got in the way of that. I also hate that they are stuck back into the world of the hunters. I actually thought that with the destruction of the games and Selena safe, the others would be too. I was ridiculously naive. This world is not safe for anyone, least of all, immortals.

The cliffhanger at the end was annoyingly exciting as well, so I will be waiting unhappily for the next book.

I received a free copy for an honest review the end was annoyingly exciting.

I waited patiently for this fabulous author to finish this book and I was not disappointed. I laughed I yelled for joy and I cried. It did not slow down from start to finish. I love how Strong Cass is and learning about Jamesons past . Now if Ulvic could just get what he deserves I will be content. I tried really hard to read this book slowly but I just couldn’t put it down. Thank you to Caroline Peckham for pulling me into this story and not letting me go love love loved it.

This series is The Bomb!!!! From the first book to the fourth. Story lines leaves you wanting more after each book. I just want to punch Ulvic in the mouth or break his jaw so he could not give any more commands to the wolves. Caroline keep it up girl, you got me thirsty and poor Jammison, found his girl and lost his girl. Will the poor guy ever catch a break?

I love Jameson! I fell in love with him in V games and it's continued to grow in Wolf games. I would recommend this series to anybody who loves an alpha male with incredible wit and sarcasm. And a heroine who is tough all her own. The obstacles in their way are truly nonstop.
The new characters have wormed their way into my hearts as well as Jameson and Cass. I have a real soft spot for Silas. But I want to slit Ulvics throat myself!!
Overall it's a great read just like the rest. I devoured this book so fast and now I know the wait for the next book is going to be brutal!

Original review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Caroline Peckham!

Wolf Games
is the fourth book in The Vampire Games series and continues the story of Jameson and Cass. The V Games are over and now they both live in The Sanctuary until some bad things happen and Jameson has to leave with Ulvic and Cass is being captured by IDAHO.

Wolf Games was yet again an amazing sequel. I loved that this book was more about Jameson and Cass because Selena and Varrick got their happily ever after so it was nice to read more about Jameson and Cass. I loved that The Vampire Games series is still not over and that Caroline continues the story by writing about Jameson and Cass.

I love reading in Jameson and Cass’ perspectives because they’re so different from Selena and Varrick, but still so interesting to read about. Jameson is so much fun and has such a big ego, in a funny way. Cass is also someone I could consider as a friend because I really like her personality. I also think that they are a match made in heaven!

Wolf Games had so many plot twists that I didn’t see coming and was just in general such an amazing read with so many new things to process. I discovered so much more about the world Caroline has created and I couldn’t stop reading. I had to finish this book because I had to know how it was going to end. And wow… I really need the 5th book because I cannot handle an end like that. So Caroline, hurry up!

I highly recommend The Vampire Games series because it’s such a well written and fast-paced series!

I have read the first three Vampire Games books, which basically follow the story of the two main leads, Selena and Varick. During those books, the author introduced the reader to many awesome supporting characters. Out of all the supporting characters though, Jameson was my favorite. I was ecstatic when I learned Book 4 was going to follow Jameson and Cass' story. It was the first time I was more interested in a secondary character's story, than the main characters (sorry, Varick and Selena). So, to say I was excited to read this book is quite an understatement. Wolf Games had tons of surprises, and kept me guessing what was going to happen next. I went from laughing, to biting my nails, to yelling at the pages, the whole way through. I cannot wait for the next book! I am so in love with these two characters. Jameson is so freaking funny, even when the poops about to hit the fan. I only have one warning: If you are afraid of heights, be very wary when you get to the ending...don't say I didn't warn you!

Note: I was given this book by the author and I voluntary give this review.

Wolf Games was blast to read, with all the action, mystery, feelings and supernaturals that was in V Games and I'm hungry for more.

I first met them in the V Games trilogy and now the story of Cass and Jameson continues in Wolf Games, the next group of books in the story centers around the events after Selena and Varrick got their happily ever after.

Cass and Jameson are on the island that houses Sanctuary (a safe haven for supernaturals) but all is not well. Cass is troubled with being a vampire and wants the cure plus she is troubled over her undeniable feelings for the most lovable werewolf. All the while Jameson is still haunted over the things he was made to do that is still fresh in his mind. As Jameson heads off with a once-friend-now-turned-enemy in order to rescue the remainder of his pack from a vicious wolf-hunter, Sanctuary is attacked and Cass finds herself in a similar situation as V Games, which means a whole lot of trouble.

I was hooked on the V Games trilogy and when I found out that my favorite character, the werewolf Jameson, from the series was getting his own trilogy I knew I had to jump all over it. Caroline has proved herself an excellent writer with a mind for amazing plots in V Games and it continued in Wolf Games. There was so much excitement and action as new superntaurals were introduced, another sinister plot came about and an evil I really didn't see come raised it's ugly. With the characters being so familiar but the storyline new it gave the feeling of new and revisited all at once. I loved that I already knew some of the characters and that a character was only previously mentioned is now front and centered.

In Wolf Games Caroline has extended the previous world by introducing new characters and new situations. While this time the situation doesn't seem as dangerous but that doesn't meant that it isn't just as deadly. Cass is faced with a impossible situation with really no hope of escape but then the question is does she really want to. Cass is such a strong but flawed character she has done so much bad in the past and she doesn't think she is redeemable but she has also grown and become a different person than she was. However some of her weaker traits are revealed and it does make her seem more human but it also has me questioning a lot of her choices. I do understand how they could come about but I still don't like them.

Jameson is back and I love it. Jameson has managed to become one of the characters that I love the most. He is loyal to fault, brave, foolish, caring, kind, has a carefree attitude, is open and so incredibly funny. Jameson is so positive and tries to make the best out of all situations but it his sense of humor that I love, the jokes that he has, I love it. However Jameson whole sense of self changes, the womanizer finds a women who he wants to give himself to, he realize that not all situations can be turned positive and that the one person he trusted is a person will betray him so deeply that it's heartbreaking.

Wolf Games was face paced and action packed with characters that I know and love and a plot that kept me enraptured. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen and I was quite surprised to see where the story lead. Wolf Games had a cliffhanger of an ending and I am super excited to see what happens next. One thing for sure I want revenge on a certain character and I need justice to happen.

>Book Review – Wolf Games
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 1st in the Vampire Games: Season 2 series and ends in a cliffhanger. The Alpha wolf, Jameson, now hates his master, Ulvic, for forcing Jameson to kill most of his pack against his will. Ulvic does not want Jameson to be with the vampire, Cass. Jameson and Cass have finally become a couple and that scene in the book is so romantic. Ulvic, however, ruins everything by forbidding Jameson from touching Cass and forcing Jameson to pair with the werewolf, Nadine. Nadine truly believes that Jameson now loves her. The glimpses into Jameson’s mind as his thoughts are nowhere near his actions, really highlight how tortured Jameson is.
>This series has a running theme that one group or person may hold ultimate control over another. Jameson searches for his missing pack members, leaving Cass behind. Cass is taken by evil scientists and turned in to a hybrid werewolf/vampire, causing a huge surprise. Mercy Helsing is in this story, but in a relatively small part. The great unknown is whether Jameson can fight against Ulvic to be with Cass.
> This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 5 stars. This series is so exciting and really throws out huge surprises. This book is a must read for all lovers of paranormal romance.

Oh my god..... I loved V Games and didn't think this book could be as good. Boy I was wrong. This author continues bringing her A game to these books. I loved Jameson and Cass in V Games. In this new series it goes more into their lives and relationship. There are so many paranormal beings in these books. It's not just vampires and werewolves. And you get a look into the other people you loved in V Games also. I am so glad it wasn't the final end of so many of the characters when the author wrote her final V Games book. Jameson and Cass are torn apart. Both having to head on different journeys. The go through hell. Both put into situations that could break them. Can they make it? Will they survive? Will they get back together? You will have to read this book to find out. The author keeps you on the edge of your seat. This book is full of action and bitting your nails and holding your breath scenes. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait for the next book. What an amazing author a must read book you will not want to miss. I highly recommend this book!!!!!!

This was an entertaining book with the first real introduction to the IDAHO organization. The book contains scientific experiments, species hybrids, and of course, we meet Silas and his dead sister. Ulvic has taken a turn for the worse, as if we thought that were possible after Book 3. This was good, but certainly not as good as any of the V Games books prior to this. This one lacked much of the beautiful prose of the others. Maybe this book was rushed compared to the V Games where it seems the author spent more time crafting the words. That is what I liked about the V Games: brutal and gory, yet filled with poetic prose. That is not to be found in this book for the most part. There were a few prose gems, however. "Death comes on silent wings, Ulvic." Bravo on the great cliff hanger ending!

What can I say? Another book written by Caroline Peckham that does not disappoint!!!! Wolf Games is absolutely intriguing, page turning and action filled, I feel like I am a part of the character in the book and I am following along. I love ❤️ Vampire/Werewolf books, so the 1st 3 were amazing... this one so far is exceeding the other 3. OMG 😲
I believe this series should be made into a movie, I would love to see Jameson & Varick on screen !!

I definitely would recommend this book and series to come.

WOW! I absolutely loved Cass and Jameson in V Games and love them even more in this, the beginning of an awesome spin off! I enjoyed looking back into Jameson's life as a youngster and how he and Verick met. The flashbacks were always a favorite for me.
Action, love, and drama continue to pull us in! I can not wait to see what comes next in what is sure to be another WOW season of games from Caroline Peckham!
I received an ARC of this book and am reviewing because I review the books I read.

****I voluntarily read and reviewed this book, all opinions are my own.****

I was really excited to jump back into this world, as I've loved these characters, especially Cass & Jameson.

There were so many great events of this book, I really enjoyed getting to know Silas more, have loved Cass more and was frustrated for Jameson. That cliffhanger at the end was the most frustrating.

I can't believe what happened to Cass, and what is happening to Cass. I can't wait for her to tell Jameson and I can't what to see what happens next!!

LOVED it!
