Let's face we've all wanted revenge at some point, but it's how you go about it that matters. Billy Hunt combines black humor with psychological thrills in 10 compelling short stories about getting even. AMAZON "Awesome read ... nothing like a great revenge story!" (5 stars) " ... dark, witty, funny and all come with a twist." (5 stars) "One of the best book of short stories I have read in a long time!" (5 stars)
If you ever wanted revenge on someone, but were too afraid to act, live vicariously through the vivid tales of revenge as told by David. Posited in everyday situations, and featuring normal people, his abnormal schemes of pay back can leave you gasping as the victim's desperation takes hold. as short, sharp and snappy yarns, you don't have to wait very long for the comeuppance. If only they had known that what you give is what you get, maybe their bitterest pill of their eventual demise could have been avoided. This collection is well worth parting with your pretty green.
I bought this book primarily for its tutorial value. As a novice writer of short stories, I wanted to see whether it was possible to maintain reader interest and produce surprise twists when the basic plot (protagonist experiences bad acts but eventually gets revenge) is known in advance. I found that there were really no surprise endings. I was able to guess most of the endings while in the middle of each story. However, the author did manage to maintain reader interest with the use of exotic locations (Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and remote parts of Australia) and interesting characters. His writing is easy to read because of his training as a journalist. One thing that bothered me was a lack of humor in the stories, which usually ended with the bad guy being killed (though perhaps that exaggerated wish fulfillment could be regarded as a form of cynical humor).

Perfect title for a collection of karmratic beatdowns
This novel was a good and interesting in that it had the revenge as its main subject however it was not the same retread of previous movies or television cliques. The use of different locations and cultural issues were very good in that they played into some unseen or upcoming twists each time. I hope this author carries this theme into another novel perhaps center in the world of politics, fashion, entertainment, or rich elites.
This is probably one of the best book of short stories I have read in a long time!!! The stories are dark, witty, funny and always come with a twist. The sense of humour throughout the stories just crack me up! I didn't realise revenge can come in so many forms until now. A very good read, in particular, on a bad day. I hope there will be a Screw You 2 coming soon. Two thumbs up!!
Ever been cut off in traffic? Or been second in line when the last cronut was sold? Or ever you've been sneezed on in a plane. Yes? Get this book! It is therapy. Revel in the revenge. Enjoy.
Hilarious and gripping! Every single story, unique in their own right, shocks and entertains, constantly leaving you wanting more. Can't wait for more from this author!
