Revenge.

Nobody does to Diego Fernandez what Xavier Moon did and gets away with it. Moon may thought he destroyed Fernandez but he has a few tricks up his sleeve and is now ready to make his move.

Getting his hands on Moon's wife Madison, Diego intends to make an example of her that Moon will never forget after which he'll return her to him, in pieces.

Someone has kidnapped his wife. Someone who evidently has a death wish as Moon will reign down all forms of Hell to whoever was stupid enough to lay hands on Madison. And that's only if she's returned unharmed. Time to call in his friends and allies as war has been declared.

* * * * *

Warning: This is a dark erotic suspense thriller that includes abuse, dub/non-con scenes, and violence. Further it WILL be a trigger for those who are sensitive to non con sex trade trafficking. It is a dark themed read intended to be enjoyed by those who can appreciate this form of adult literature. Consider yourself warned.

In this the 7th installment in the "Hotter Than Hell" series, the author has brought back characters from previous installments which is why I don't recommend this book as a stand alone. The series evolves around Moon & Madison who serve as the anchor couple for the overall series.

The main characters, Moon & Madison, were featured in "Heat" though I thought they had earned their HEA. Silly me. In this story, Madison's kidnapping brings forth a whole new can of worms. As they are an established married couple, adult content scenes are a given. The unknown is if their love can survive a worst case scenario sort of thing.

Secondary characters. Most of the characters from previous installments in the series return to varying degrees. My personal love of Gabriella knows no bounds. EVERYONE needs a Gabriella in their lives along with Andrews.

This is a story that can be read in different levels. For fans of suspense/thrillers, there's that as Madison has been kidnapped and it's up to the crew to find out WHO and WHY but more importantly WHY. The reader gets to follow along as the story unfolds. For fans who look to connect and feel empathy for their characters to call it a success, raw emotionalism in different forms is included as events unfold leaving everyone to with deal with things in different ways. I did appreciate how the author changed up the personalities, mindsets, and ways people dealt with the differing situations. Made it real. Lastly, for fans who realize life isn't always a happy place and bad things happen to good people, or as it's said "it's not the shit we face that defines us, it's how we deal with it.” Life lessons.

This story hit me personally. Not in the actual events. It exposed a situation that is pertinent in recent news. A degree of understanding that specific situations are an individual and personal matter and should be treated as such. Support is essential. I also want to share (personal feeling) that not all victims of sexual assault are able to get resolution in a way that Madison did. Regardless, their future will include healing. Me, myself, and I though now have a blue print on how to do my part in the process. Of course it's important to point out healing won't happen as quickly as it did in this fictional story - but it will.

The other point that I loved is that the author has a history in law enforcement as she included tidbits that only someone in law enforcement would know.

Personally, anyone who can appreciate a contemporary antihero erotic suspense thriller romance should check this book out. Yes, there is content that is uncomfortable and yes the pain related to that is included but the overall positive outcome did it for me. The perception that life is only white and black vs the gray area that is covered in this story.

OVER THE MOON

Where do I even start. I've waited very impatiently for this book. The very first book in this series had me hooked. I just couldn't get enough of the people in these books. Be warned. Crime is not all that you might think it is. The torture and pain felt so real. I cried. I wanted revenge so badly, I could taste it.
Holly S Roberts is one of the greatest storytellers I've come across.
Inferno is all about revenge. The men are hot. The women are strong and endures a lot. I can recommend this book absolutely. Each book in the series is a standalone, but the characters interact throughout the books. Hot Criminals, Hot Bikers, Hot cops. I wish I could give it more stars. The Inferno burning in this book is hotter than hell.
Thank you for an awesome story

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book and highly recommend it!!

🔽This contains a few spoilers!🔽 WOW!!! Where do I begin?!? I'm pretty sure that I say with each new book to your Hotter than Hell Series, "this one is my favorite" so now after reading Inferno, I'll say it. THIS is my favorite (so far) but make no mistake, I LOVE THEM ALL!! First I have to say, THANK YOU for writing such an exceptional book and storyline that was powerful, dark, heartbreaking and SO captivating. Showing the inner and outer strength of women. What true friendships really mean and their love and support for one another. The love that a man and woman have for each other and what they will do and sacrifice, to ensure that love and commitment no matter what. What Mak and Cori endure is heartbreaking, but it shows that with time, guidance, love and patience, a woman's strength will overcome. We're pleasantly introduced to a new character, Duke who I absolutely LOVE and look forward to seeing what's in store for him and Cori. This book is OUTSTANDING and if I could give it 10 stars, I would because it's THAT good! Definitely recommend!!!

Barely 3 stars, and only because I'm fond of these characters.
I'm conflicted because I like all of the couples, even Cori and Duke being a possibility makes me smile. But I had issues with this one.
One major one for me was this whole idea that Mak once again is facing the gray area and not sure how she feels about killing someone. And they talk about how she's always only killed in defense or when she needed to, but that's untrue. She killed Kennedy. He was caught and tied up, and she shot him point-blank. She didn't need to kill him to save herself. So clearly she already crossed that line so I don't get why the author disregarded that and made it into an issue again. It annoyed me because it's like we're just supposed to forget about what happened in book 1. Did the author forget what she had written?
The other issue was this dumb plan for the women to get Fernandez. At first it develops as a plan to bait him out of hiding. That made sense because they couldn't find him. But they don't even bait him out of hiding, they dicover his whereabouts and instead of telling the guys (or at least Moon), Mak and the girls keep going on their own which makes absolutely no sense. They didn't need to bait him out so that was a completely dumb plan and only showed the women wanted to handle it themselves.
The third issue I had was Fernandez and the fact that he would be so hard to find considering all of Moon's connections and resources, but he would allow his sick need for a hooker to kill be his downfall. First, he was so careful to not get caught. Second, why would he leave himself so exposed knowing so many were hunting him? That makes no sense. It also makes Moon and the guys look super stupid too, that he, Alex, Austin, Dax, none of them figured out a way to find him before then, especially considering how easy it was. This just wasn't put together well.

The horrors Mak and especially Cori went through were awful. Each of these main couples having their appearance was nice I suppose, but I wish the author had taken more time to craft a story that would make more sense.

This is Book 7 in the Hotter than Hell Series. I have to say that the author has done a fantastic job writing this book. It has everything that you can ask for and a lot of stuff that you won’t care for, but she pulls it all together into one awesome book. You can read this as a stand-alone book, but you would understand it a lot better if you have read the rest of the books in this series. You meet Mak and Moon in book 1, Heat. Mak is an ex-cop and Moon runs the largest criminal
organization in Arizona. You wouldn’t think that combination would make a good marriage but the love between these two people is bigger than the state of Arizona and all the rest of the states combined. This book is so real that it will give you nightmares with the things that happen in it. There is a lot of triggers in here but if you can keep reading, you will see a miracle happen. Mak and her friend, Cori, go through so much but they will overcome it and become stronger than ever. I don’t want to say much because it will spoil the story, but you really need to read it. I guarantee that no matter how many Kleenex boxes you go through, you will enjoy reading it. It’s a dark story with the light of love shining all the way through it. Awesome job, Holly S. Roberts!

Where to start besides this book I could not out down. At first I was not going to read this series. Then one day I picked up Heat & could not out of down. I read the books out of order, I do not know why but I did. For me it did not take away from the stories.
How Holly describes things in this series it is like you are there. You will be telling at Mak for what she does. You will be cheering on the ladies in the book. You will be siding with the men but also the ladies. You may get conflicted like Man and Moon do.
What you won't get is disappointment about picking up this book and this series. They are hotter than hell, but what do you expect when the boys who look and are bad boys are really the good guys. In the crime world there is even a good side and a bad side. Moon is leader of that good side. This book proves it.

*This may contain small spoilers*. I have been patiently “not” waiting for this book to come out. if you’ve read the series you will know there was some loose ends. Once again the Author does amazing things. This book grabs you by the ba_ _s and doesn’t let go! I cant get over the strength in all the characters What Mak & Cori go through is just Gut Wrenching. I love how this is so real yes it got a little graphic but then so is real life! I actually had to force myself to start reading it the last book was extremely intense & I knew this one would have to continue somewhat same fashion. I am so glad I didn’t pass on reading it!! I have to say a favorite was when Moon finished off Max’s torturer I wont say anymore... I enjoyed bringing in some of the old characters from past books and I am so looking forward to Cori’s story I know Holly S Roberts will not let us down!!

A good read, but I had trouble with this book for selfish reasons. Almost all the characters are returning characters from previous books. The plot was a little dark, kept my interest and I didn't always know were the author was going (which is a good thing). But...for selfish reasons, I had trouble with there not being a new romance or characters for the plot to focus on. I felt like the story needed a full book to complete what had to happen, but nothing fresh was added. That was a huge missing piece for me. There was something new happening and that will get its own book, but I needed it in this book. Again.... selfish.

Wow

I couldn't have asked for a better conclusion to this portion of the story. It was a very bumpy road to get some of the loose ends tied up. The author handled them with Grace and sensitivity. She again showed her audience that not everything is black and white when it comes to justice.I'm not sure what I would do if I was in this position. It would be a safe bet that is look the other way at certain things and kill if I needed to do so.

Cannot wait to see Clark's story and the up the last of the loose ends. Very happy I discovered this author.

This starts with some really, ugly, visceral, violence. It needs to, so we can get behind what our characters are feeling and how they react. There is a lot that goes on, and we get to check in with almost all the characters we’ve met so far in the series. At the heart though, is our first and main couple, Moon and Mak. They have some discovery and soul searching to do, and they do it together, as they face the demons within while battling those externally. Emotionally wrenching as they become more solid than ever

This is Inferno, book 7 of the Hotter Than Hell series written by Holly S Roberts. Wow! Madison has been taken by some very bad men. Moon will do anything necessary to get her back. It’s a very dark read and some parts were hard to get through, but Moon is quite determined to save his beloved wife. A love like theirs is so hot! Can their love carry them away from the hell that Madison has been through? You may think that Moon is a bad man, but he has a heart of gold. It’s Hot! Hot! Hot!

Another STAR in a Stellar Lineup

Suspenseful and realistic. Romantic and sexy. Can be read alone but don't cheat yourself. Start from the beginning (Heat).

Not everyone can write in first person, present tense, but this author excels at it. This book picks up where the cliffhanger left us. We see most of the same characters plus a few new ones (well, one new one).

Loved every word, every page.

An Inferno of feelings

This was not an easy book to read. But Damn it is good! So much action. Such suspenseful scenes. I personally wanted to kill Fernandez. Love the way different people tell their stories. Can not wait for Cori's story. If you like being pulled out of your comfort zone, you must read this book! This author amazes me with her stories. From a True Fan... Pam James.

This book keep me on edge. I thought Moon was gonna lose his mind when he found out what happen to his wife Mak. I love how everyone comes together to get rid of a douchebag. I also love how Selena Sophie Cory Molina and Madison come up with a plan too without the help of their husbands. In the end i wanted to jump in the book and help the women. So if you are looking for an amazing series this would be the one to get thank you Holly S Roberts for the series cant wait for more.

In my top 10 best series

I can't express everything I've felt while reading this series. Each book has been a 5 star but book 6 and 7 were extremely hard for me to read. The emotions I felt while reading these books were over the top. I'm so glad I found this author and after I read something lighter I want to continue with her work.

So good

This book was so good. I didn't want it to end. It was great meeting up with old "friends" but horrible to read their pain. This book showed strength and resilience and the power of love. The subject matter was handled nicely and respectfully. I highly recommend this book.
