Curtains!: A High School Musical Mystery
STARCUPS!, the Harrison Ford High School musical, is in danger. First, a huge light crashes down onstage, nearly hitting the director. Then part of the set falls over on the show's star. Read this in an hour or so. One of my 6th grade students who hadn't read much all year beyond the graphic novels, read this. He was so excited to be able to read and understand what was going on. I asked for him to give it to me to read next if he thought it was a good story. He did. I did. For the level, it is interesting. But mostly, I'm so excited that he's found a book he is happy to have read.

I am nine years old and I am in fourth grade. I moved to Shanghai a week or two ago. I was new at school and it was my first time in the library. And I didn't know how to check a book out, So my friend helped me. I love this book because I love mysteries. My favorite part of this story is when they find out clues backstage, For example when Kyle's hat is found with the weights that were moved. My favorite character is Mindy.

In the first chapter theatre at Harrison Ford High School was empty silent and full of shadows. The next night Kyle and J.B go to the theatre to train when they are training they heard yells from the dark shadows and they are afraid.
In the second chapter Brendan goes to theatre to train with Kyle and J.B they are doing a small trio electric guitar, drums and keyboard. Everyone waited quietly in the theatre. After Amber opened the door and walked in and he said “Sorry, everyone” just then, Kyle heard a strange moan from the dark space above the stage. As Brendan and the director tumbled onto the floor, a heavy light fell from the ceiling.
In the third chapter when they are training for the trio they hear voices and yells from the ceiling all the people was scared because they see people running from the ceiling after they try to scape for the door and the door are closed. After they are running and yelling and the director take his phone and he call to the police but he doesn’t have connexion.
In the four chapter when they are trying to scape one of the people found one cave near the door after J.B, Kyle and Brendan enter to the cave quietly because the director can’t go whit the kids after when the kids are in the cave they are talking for the plan for escape because in the theatre there are a lot of yells and they can’t go to the theatre.
In the fifth chapter when they are in the cave J.B found a light far for the kids and he say “look Kyle a light” and she said go fast to the light and after when they goes the door of the cave of the theatre open and they see a light and J.B say “run fast Kyle” because when the door is opened they hear a lot of yells.
In the sixth chapter when the kids are trying to scape from the cave the light turns off and they can’t see but after Kyle found a torch and a lighter and he use for light after J.B found a rare electric guitar and he play the guitar and after he takes the guitar and when he take the guitar under the guitar there is a huge and they enter.
In the seventh chapter when they entered he see the door for the exit and he opened the door and goes out after they go to his house for sleep when it’s 10 o’clock of the morning Kyle call J.B for ask for go to the theatre for explore because he J.B like to explore and he need to know what happened in the theatre.
In the eight chapter when Kyle and J.B are taking the thing for explore the theatre they take a lantern, bag, food and drink J.B go to Kyle’s house for do the plan for enter to the theatre quietly after at five o’clock they enter to the door of the back and when they enter there are a lot of dark shadows.
In the ninth chapter when J.B and Kyle enter to the theatre and they see a lot of dark shadows in the up of the theatre. They see one light but a dark light and J.B say “come Kyle quietly and don’t do noise” after when they are going to the light Kyle fall in a hole and Kyle scream and yell.
In the tenth chapter Kyle fall in sand but she doesn’t hurt after J.B look at the light but don’t see the light and he run because he think there light is a man and the man is going to take J.B. Then J.B hides behind a bookcase. Then he takes his phone and he calls Kyle.
In the eleventh chapter when J.B is calling Kyle she say scramming “J.B HELP ME” after he take a rope and he say “I’m coming Kyle”. After when he takes the rope he goes to the huge but he don’t found the huge. Then J.B take his lantern and he goes to found the huge.
