Vengeance will come!

If you don’t mess with mine, then I won’t ultimately destroy yours. All Alfonzo and his family wants is to live in peace but they just can’t catch a break. In the last volume of a Alfonzo series The Diaz-Giacanti Family had suffered a unexpected devastating blow with the unwarranted killings of his aunt Carmen and her family. The guilt of not being able to protect his loved ones is weighing heavily on him and he needs a release, and what better way than to release on the ones who caused him and his family this unbearable pain.
Alfonzo and family and they have nothing but vengeance on their minds. Ms Frank has done it again with another fast paced action packed story that doesn’t slow down until the very last page. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the series or newbie, Amnesty will be an emotional ride because of the loss some beloved characters. But it is also thrilling to see Alfonzo and Geo working together to exact their revenge. It is was also great to Selange demand her own pound of flesh by exacting her own form of vengeance. This was an entertaining and engaging read from beginning to end and even when you think this family has finally earned some form of normalcy, something or someone is already waiting to disturb the peace of mind that always seems to be just beyond their reach. So what’s up next for this family? I don’t know but I can’t wait to find out.

You sow you reap!

Poor Al, can't catch a break. Someone is always plotting against he and his family because they know that family is everything to him. Selange is his ride or die chic. She loves him with with all of her heart but she will not let him get away with anything . No secrets was their agreement.

Yosef should have known better and so should Pepe. They underestimated Al's game and lost. You don't mess with his family. Losing part of the Diaz, family in the previous book is taking a toll on them all including the kids.

Even though S.W. Frank wrote a story ful! of drama and suspense, I'm missing something. I've always enjoyed reading about the Diaz/ Giacanti families, this story as well as several of the previous books feel rushed. They end too soon. They just don't have the depth of feelings as the first sets had. I just did not like the way the story ended at all. It just left me hanging with an incomplete feeling.

On the edge of my seat

As usual SW Frank delivers another well written, intricate and action-packed segment to the now 28 books of the Alphonzo saga. I read each book literally in one day. I don’t know why she is not right up there with all the other well known authors but she can definitely hold her own with any of them. Each book is a tease because she gives you just enough to feed your addiction then you go through withdrawals waiting for the next installment. SW Frank is the best unknown author hot who really deserves major props for such a fascinating and riveting series. I will be very sad when the Alphonzo series ends. Justice reigns in this segment. Can’t even say anything about the story without giving it away. As I always say if I ever get the money, I will facilitate having a HBO series or movie made because it would do great. Fiending for the next installment.

So emotional!

I'm all up in my feelings right now! This book was lit from beginning to end! People came into their own, secrets came to light, wrongs were made right.

One thing that struck me was the physical copulation between Alfonzo and Selange was very limited by most romance book standards but their tale NEVER lacks the love and romance. I just realized at the end, there wasn't a lot of bump and grind but it wasn't necessary to actually feel the love between these two. That's the mark of a great author... kudos!

This Is Just. Good!👏

When I first started out reading this series it was not with the idea that one would become obsessed. The writer bring us right back in the thick of it and doesn't let up.I love that we get to see not only this family come together to protect and defend themselves, but we get a glimpse of a weary bunch that just wants to live. I love that we get to see a mom that's tried if this unfair world and just goes straight gangster! This was just good writing and a showcase of skills to keep a series fresh and interesting. Can't wait for my next installment .

They Just Keep Coming

Ms Frank just keep producing these amazing stories. It was sad for it to end with those deaths, but I'm just wondering about the other developments. What will Nico decide or be forced to do? Sergio and Lorenzo, what's in store for them?
And Selange and Al, I can't help but think they will continue together and stronger.
It will be interesting to see how the younglings continue to develop.

To short

These books are getting so short now and the anticipation sucks! I love the book like always i felt it was a bit mmmm rushed in a way. I wanted to get more dialog on the kids w. This one maybe the next book. Crazy how Alfonzo has another secret he has to keep i hope Selange never finds out or it might be the end of there marriage.

Family Love

I love how this family sticks together no matter what. They defend each other and love each other. This is how family should really be. On to book 29.

No Amnesty

Contains Spoilers:

After reading Arraignment, I was left extremely upset with all the deaths, including children. I wasn't sure that I wanted to read the next book, but had to know that vengeance was repaid.

Surprisingly, I laughed out loud many times during this book. Giuseppe is too funny but had heart. The way he distracted Alfonzo by talking about what happened with Nico and Selange was hilarious. Even telling Alfonzo he was planning on killing them both brought Alfonzo out his almost complete meltdown.

Nico is really losing his touch and needs to retire. I guess I'm at peace with what happened between he and Selange because I'm glad that he didn't due. As vicious as what happened with Yosef, the way Giuseppe and Alfonzo tagged teamed him was ridiculously funny and at the same time extremely satisfying. Yosef deserved it and more for he was truly evil; in spite of loving Sophie and his daughter, Chocolate. He was a prime example of Good and Evil coexisting In the same body.

In spite of Alfonzo and Selange promising to never keep secrets, I'm glad he didn't tell her about Vincent's part In her father's death. It wasn't something Vincent did deliberately and he more than paid for it with his love. It would do no good for Selange to know about it for i don't think it would help her. Perhaps, it would give Selange a measure of peace and she could forgive him but she would certainly be angry at those who knew and kept it from her. Nope I say let him rest In peace.

In spite of this being a short book, every question I had was answered and I'm so satisfied that I don't need to read another book in this series.
