i was rooting for Phresh and Nykee. when he said he wanted to talk i thought he was gonna lay everything out on the table. i didn’t expect him to break up with her. i wanted him to be open with her. i wanted them to talk about what was going on with him. i understand why he did what he did, but i don’t like it. and that damn Tati 🙄. with the way Phresh was laying pipe i expected her to be in her feelings and i just KNEW she was gonna be petty. she was intimidated and she showed her cards every time. Laci and Bella....little Bella is so sweet and innocent. i just love her. i hope Laci didn’t get killed. that is gonna break Nykee. first Phresh breaks up with her and then she received that phone call from Bella 😔. i just hope she can save them.

Omg! Loved Nykee and Phresh!
This read was a breath of fresh air. I wish that Phresh would have opened up more with Nykee. I'm sure she would have understood what he was going through but I get him wanting to protect her. Then again, if he was serious about what they were trying to build he should have trusted her enough to let her in. Eager to see how things play out in the next installment. As always, great read from you ladies and hopefully more collaborations in the future!

Loved it
Great collaboration between two amazing authors. Very well written and great character development. This book had my attention from beginning to end. I immediately liked Nykee, she was very independent and did things on her own. She didnt follow what her parents wanted her to do. I'm rooting for things to get better with her and Phresh but I still believe he should've been upfront with her about his past instead of taking the easy way out. I hope Nykee gets to Laci and Bella in time. Great jobs ladies, looking forward to part 2.

5 stars but I wish I could give more...
Ladies this collab was too bomb!!! Like I just love Nykee and Phresh... they were funny and charming with loveable personalities. I laughed throughout this book and I cried at the end. My heart definitely goes out to Laci and Bella. What they are going through is heartbreaking and I definitely cried for them. This flows so well, I didn't even know I was finished until it said "to be continued." Can't wait for the next one!!!

Pulled an all nighter
Let me first start by saying I woke up at around 3am and opened this book. At 5something, I was done. I expected nothing less from 2 of my faves in the book game. I loved that Nykee was smart abd hood af at the same time. Everytime she checked Tatiana, I was for it! Phresh was something else! 🗣SOMETHING ELSE! This book was kinda different, but I'm so ready for whatever happens next from you 2!! 5+ stars!

Great Read! Phresh should have told Nykee the truth instead of letting her walk away the way she did. Hopefully Nykee won't get hurt trying to go rescue Laci and Bella alone! I think Nykee is pregnant and doesn't know it. Hopefully part two won't take too long!

I so hope part 2 isn't too far behind. As much as I like Phresh I have to say he was selfish and should've kept it completely real with Nykee. It was crazy how they met but I wanted nothing more but to find out how far their relationship would go as I kept reading. Roland didn't deserve a woman like Nykee and I really do believe her dad is on something foul to get her to follow the path he chooses. Tati was irritating and I hate the fact Phresh always runs back to her instead of making her realize that things are strictly on a friendship level. Thiago is a sorry excuse for a father and Martinez isn't any better for how he's handling things. I wish Phresh and Santino would find a way out of the debt Thiago owes. I loved the caring side of Nykee but hopefully she won't chew off more than she can handle with the Bella and Laci situation. Bianca and BriAnn please don't keep us waiting too long!

You ladies really did a wonderful job on this collaboration! Phresh and Nykee were great together. That little librarian just blew his entire world and had his mind completely gone. Phresh’s dad, Roman, Martinez and Tati were real scumbags and need to just drop off the face of the earth. I can’t wait for part two, so that I can see ho this couple straighten this situation out. I also want to find out who Phresh’s brothers are and I truly hope that Roman isn’t one of them. Great job ladies! ❤️

Lordt!!
Something toooold me not to read until part 2 came out! I don’t know who to be upset with. BriAnn, Bianca, Phresh or myself dammmit 🙄😩. Of course great book, expect nothing less. I feel for Phresh I understand why he’s so closed off and doesn’t want to let Nykee in or show her what he went through. He’s still going through a traumatic situation mentally, reliving it everyday. I get why Nykee is upset and doesn’t get it but at the end of the days he’s scared and trying to protect her. It ain’t on no cheating ish which is probably going though her head.

Totally awesome!
Beautiful writing, wonderful and interesting storyline! This book was well delivered! A definite page turner that I definitely did not put down from the first page or should I say, I couldn’t! Omg I can not stand Tati for nothing...she erks my nerves. I like how Nykee handles her with her little feisty self lol. Although Phresh thinks what he’s doing is the best for Nykee, I was mad he did it. I can’t stand the hold that Tati has on fresh. Even though he’s a boss, he doesn’t show boss qualities with Tati. He needs to throw that *itch to the curb. Anyways I’m definitely looking for part two ASAP. Hoping that Phresh wakes up in time! Fantastic job ladies!

Absolutely loved it!!!
OMG! Phresh & Nykee was everything!!! This was one of the best books I've read all year. Bianca & BriAnn are 2 of my favs and I love their books. It was just something about this book that melted my heart and kept me from putting it down. I actually started to slow up reading when I got closer to the end because I didn't want it to be over. I just loved all the characters, but Phresh is my everything bae😍 This is a great read and I recommend all readers to definitely check it out!!!

Man I don't know what to say. You two are already in my top five of favorite authors but together this was explosive. I love the way this book came together and the chemistry between Nykee and Phresh was off the charts. The storyline was dope and the secondary characters added life. I'm not even mad at how it ended because their feelings are too strong for each other to stay apart. Looking forward to reading book two!! Soon...

omg poor Phresh him an his brother Santiago is in a bad place. I really think he should have gave Nykee a chance an told her what was going on an like she said let her choose. I really dont like Titiana she is really not good for him but he dont see it cause she helps him so much but she will as settle for anything as long as he still try to deal with her. cant wait to see how this play out with Laci I hope Brian hasn't killed her. poor Bella too I know she is going crazy right now.

Wow. Phresh father is a selfish SOB. I can't believe that he wasn't trying to help his son's to repay his debts. Now the mafia want allow them to be free because of that. Phresh could have been honest with Nykee about his past and told her everything including the burns on his back. I believe she could have help him. I hope that Bella mother isn't dead and I hope nothing happen to Nykee when she get there. Part 2 hurry up and come.

Whhhyyy Phresh?! That was not the way to do it. He should’ve gave Nyk the option to ride it out with him. I’m pretty sure Nyk is pregnant. With Phresh being so comfortable around Nyk, it should’ve been easy for him to show her his scars...Tati is going to set up Phresh somehow...and get herself killed...good riddance. I enjoyed this book. Can’t wait for part 2!

Great read
My goal was to take my timing reading, but I couldn't put the book down! Both writing style gel together perfectly were it felt like one person wrote it. The storyline was well develop with a unique plot that j enjoyed reading. I'm so read for part 2.

As for Tati I don't trust her at all its something about her that's not adding up I hope don't nothing happens to Nykee when she go to help Laci I can't wait for part two keep up the great work ladies.

Yesss Nykee the librarian!
I really liked the fact that Nykee was a librarian, owning her own business related to her love of books. A treehouse!?? Disappearing and going inside a treehouse to escape from the world with some books is goals man. Phresh was whipped!! That librarian had his mind gone. 3 emails sent essentially back to back!?! He didn't know what to do with himself lol. Their dad is a punk. Tatiana is a loose cannon. Nykee is definitely a favorite of mine, following her dreams despite the fact that her family isn't behind her, hustling to open a business, dealing with a dumb ex and his minion all while taking care of business at the library (that library situation with Phresh!!!) and trying to look out for Bella and her mom. Nykee's a bad gal
