I am a graduate from Moore College of Art & Design, majoring in illustration and have worked as an artist since 1970 in an Art Studio drawing illustrations for advertising and in an engraving company as a graphic artist designing corporate logos, letterheads and business cards. I have been a free-lance artist for: magazines, corporations and for individuals desiring portraits of their homes or pets all while raising my children. In more recent times I have been selling prints of my nautical drawings in galleries and through ETSY at SusanDonohueColbyArt I am also a Personal Trainer/instructor at a local YMCA going on 30 years! When my first child was born I wrote and began to illustrate HOW JACK GOT FLAT. It has taken a while to actually get this little story into print. The birth of my daughter’s first child inspired me to finish this story. I have several other stories to tell as well and hope to keep moving forward.
