Cicero Frank is an R 'N B singer with a bad case of the blues. He has a chest grabber on stage one night only to be revived by Ahab Greenbaum a gifted heart surgeon and super fan of Cicero Frank. As Frank recuperates a Japanese film crew interviews him for a documentary on obscure music legends and this jumpstarts his moribund career. Dr. Greenbaum accompanies his patient to Tokyo where he finds out at a live performance that one of Frank's early songs was inspired by his lovely wife Lexi. So moved is Ahab he flies home a day early only to find Lexi in bed with a demon from his past. Cicero Frank becomes the toast of Tokyo with a successful tour and a podcast.Dr Ahab Greenbaum moves out to the Mojave where he is crucified by some religious nuts. Will either one of these men find redemption? Elevated Barflies is the story of two paths that cross, one on the way up, the other on the way down.
