Fight Twice for Me (Two Stepbrothers are Better than One)

The last place I wanted to be is at my ex's MMA club, especially since I've sworn off fighters.

But I never anticipated meeting the De La Cruz twins. And damn, is there anyone who could resist a chance at a night of mind-blowing sex with them? With their tattoos, muscles, and the fact that there's two. Besides, I'm getting the hell out of Vegas as soon as I'm done with college in a few weeks, so why not indulge until then?

CC Wylde believes in wonder, imagination, and fantasies where happily ever afters are real, and finding the one is guaranteed . . . even if the one is really one plus one, two, or three.

She’s always been impressed by the influence stories have on people as individuals and society. Sometimes in real life, rules can be strict. Thoughts and situations can limit us. But she knows that between the pages of a good book—just like in between the linens of our own private sheets—we can all have happy endings.

Fight twice for me is the story of Ella, who has decided to leave the world of MMA fighting behind, except when she meets not one, but two hot men who are into her but also part of the scene, she finds that hard to do.
Diego and Rigo are identical twins and they have decided that they want to have a relationship with one woman, sharing her, rather than having a partner of their own dragging them away from one another. The story itself is ok and on the whole, I enjoyed it. Ella did quite a lot of not wanting to get involved, then getting very physical with them before heading fo the hills again. I could understand why she was reluctant to get involved with them, but she also seemed to change her mind pretty quickly each time. I think that I would have liked to see a bit more of their relationship that wasn't just sex. I also found the characters a little bit immature. I'm not sure exactly how old Ella was supposed to be, but judging by the fact that she has had at least one serious relationship previously, she's an adult. Why someone of that age would consider or refer to her mother's new husband's sons as stepbrothers I really don't know. It didn't really ring true to me.
This was an enjoyable read. It just didn't quite hit the can't put down because I'm really invested in the characters and story that some books seem to reach. That might have just been me though. Overall, it was good and I'd certainly read more by the same author.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
