Logan and Katie meet by chance and you can guess what happens....Then things start to get complicated. Both are harbouring secrets and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. How far will it go before someone gets hurt? What happens when all the secrets are unveiled?
I really enjoyed this story and can't wait to read more from Kira Blakely.

This is a standalone book about Logan Wright and Katie Hendrickson. Logan walks into a seedy bar to have a meeting with some people he really doesn't want to deal with. While waiting he see's a woman dressed up and definitely not fitting in with the clientele of the bar. Katie (who prefers to be called Jinx) is in the bar for her own reasons, never expecting someone to try to drug her. Nor was she expecting to be saved by an extremely handsome man. Neither one was truly expecting each other, or the instant attraction they had to each other. And they surely weren't ready for what happens next!

This was a fun, quick read for me! This was a romantic suspense with a LOT of hotness to it! Logan is hot in ways that I wasn't expecting, and he has issues in other ways too. Katie had some things going on that make you wonder whose side she is truly on, until you find out what the problem truly is. Together they are absolutely explosive! Once I started I couldn't put it down! And once they get through everything that happens? I loved how it ends! Great read!

A drug kingpin names Marino wanted him to design and have built several planes with special compartments to be used for smuggling drugs into the country. Logan went to the FBI who were working the case to stop and arrest Marino. Meanwhile Marino had contacted a magazine wanting an expose done on Logan or threatened to kill them if didn't comply. Katie went to island where Logan was staying to get the dirt on him. She was supposed to be meeting one of Marino's men to find out the particulars of where Logan would be and get an angle on how to get the story. She was hanging around a bar and Logan saw her, and then saw someone put something into her drink, and stopped her from drinking it....he liked her looks and noticed she didn't belong in this seedy bar, so took her out of there and to his bungalow at a resort...but no spoilers on story, they really connected....but you will have to read the book to see if her believes her or if the drug dealer gets his planes...

This is a wonderful story about Katie and Logan. This story starts out in a seedy bar and Logan is there to meet a man who has been threatening his business and finds himself watching a beautiful woman having her drink spiked by some unsavory characters. Katie is surprised when a strange man takes her out of the bar unexpectedly and then once Logan explains what’s going on they leave together and end up having a very enjoyable night together. Katie is also on this island under false pretenses as unknown to them both she is also being threatened by the same man. They have some questionable things occur and they start to put together what’s going on but with real feelings between them things get misunderstood and things go a bit crazy! Logan is lucky as his connection with the FBI may be his last play to keep Katie and himself safe. When the danger dies down will they be able to move forward or will what happened on the island remain there? Life gives them many surprises, what will they do with theirs? Katie and Logan meet on a remote island however the both of them are for different reasons. Logan is trying to get himself away from a messing situation when he see a gorgeous woman across a bar and sees two men preying on her and slipping something in her drink. He only plans to get her out of there safely but things heat up between them and they end up back at his place in bed together. Katie is a writer just not the kind of writer she wants to be. When her mother gets into a tricky situation it takes Katie to an island to try and save them all. The more time Katie and Logan spend together the closer the get. However Logan is really suspicious about everything and everyone and doesn't trust Katie with good reason it seems. Will Katie's secret end things between them?

This was an amazing story and is well written. It will capture your attention from the first page and keep you enthralled until the end. The chemistry between Logan and Katie is blazing hot. I would recommend this to any of my book friends.

What a tangled web Ms. Blakely has weaved with her latest release. Logan is a billionaire who became involved with an unscrupulous criminal, named Marino, who wants him to build airplanes to transport illegal substances. Katie is a journalist who works for her family’s magazine. Her mother was approached by Marino to get the dirt on Logan to ensure his compliance with the deal. Katie went in her mother’s stead to seek out Logan and get the information but the game has changed and somehow, she has wound up getting attached to the man. Will Katie risk the life of her mother and forget about what she is tasked to do? Will Logan catch on to what Katie is doing? Will Marino’s men finish them both off? The attraction between the characters is compelling and the storyline is engaging. Although it is not my favorite of her books, if you are looking for a romance novel with intrigue and suspense, then this is one you should one click to read.

I purchased Saving The Bride an Accidental Marriage/A new York Billionaire in the Caribbean /Mob romance by Kira Blakely and this review was given freely.
Caught between the Mob and the FBI, billionaire Logan goes to the caribbean for a sting operation where he meets Magazine heiress and reporter Katie who is also being controlled by the Mob. Suspenseful and Ironic this full length novel has multiple erotic steamy scenes, a plot containing double crossing,expresses strong family loyalty, and contains a beautiful island full of evil.
Good story but could use a little help with editing.

Irony and multiple violent scenes occur in this novel as Casino and hotel resort CFO Cas tries to keep former employee Jade safe. Containing Multiple twists, this action packed full length novel has one erotic scene after another as they show with actions rather than words how much they care for each other.

Not a bad story or characters but the whole plot and scenery felt sort of campy and staged. Katie and Logan might have felt off the charts instant attraction for each other, but I didn’t feel that for them. They needed to work together to bring down the wanna be Mafia guy but at every turn Katie seemed to be putting herself in more danger by being stubborn and thinking for herself. Their best laid plans always seems to go in the crapper. I get that Logan couldn’t say or understand why he felt the need to continuously protect Katie when all others he kept at a distance. Katie was independent and headstrong and was not overly impressed by Logan’s billionare status which won her a plus by me. I just couldn’t feel a true “I need you in my life forever and always vibe.” The book was entertaining as the plot took unexpected twists.

I read this book as part of an arc program. This was a suspenseful book by Kira about a young billionaire named Logan who builds private airplanes and was contacted by a criminal to build a plane to his plans and Logan didn't want to do it. Logan was on a tropical island for a meeting and when he arrived at the bar, he saw a beautiful woman about to be drugged by two men. Logan rescued the woman and they fled the bar. Katie was a writer and she was trying to get close to Logan without him knowing and when he rescued her, she saw a chance to get the information she needed. Katie and her mother ran a magazine and were being blackmailed to get dirt on Logan, only she never thought she would like him. Logan is attracted to Katie and wants to protect her, even if he thinks being near her will bring danger. I liked this story, I liked how Logan was so protective of Katie. Katie liked Logan and they had a great connection. I think they made a good team. Another good one from Kira.

I love it! It is fantastic! Kira takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and its great. Marino wanted Logan to build him some planes with extra compartments so he could smuggle drugs to the US. Logan told the FBI and they told him to meet Marino on an island in Mexico just as planned. When Logan goes to the club that Marino said he would be at, Logan saw 2 grungy men hitting on a beautiful woman. She was telling them no and 1 of them slipped something into her drink. Logan went and knocked her drink out of her hand and said: "Let's get out of here." Katie was like "What are you doing?" She then noticed several grungy men coming toward them. They immediately ran out the door and ended up in Logan's bungalow. Will Marino's men get Logan and Katie: What is Katie's part in all of this?

This is a fun, fast read with insta-lust/love between a hot billionaire and this plucky pretty young woman. There was heat, chemistry, action, a little suspense and a little drama. Logan is an alpha billionaire trying to catch a crook. Katie is trying to save her mom from the samr crook. And both are suspicious of each other, paranoid that the other works for or with the said crook. Heck, 2 days really isn't enough basis for trust right?

I'm glad Logan was the one who wanted to pursue the relationship...though I wanted to shake Katie for letting her issues get in the way. But then again, insta-love does seem unbelievable.

Umm, is it ok to say that this book is something that won't require much brain power? Just let it sweep you in...

Katie is a journalist whose mother is being threatened by the mob. In order to save her mother and their business she must get information on the billionaire Logan. Logan has his own problems with this mob and is on the island working with the FBI to stop the mob. As the mob told her to do Katie goes to a bar to meet Logan. Logan spots nefarious men trying to pick her up, drugging her drink. He rescues her from that situation and the adventure takes off from there. Will they both be able to escape the mobs wrath and find a HEA? This was a fun, exciting, fast read that held my attention from page one to the end. I received an ARC of this book and am happily reviewing it while waiting for Kira’s next book to come out.

Logan and Katie are very much alike and easy characters to appreciate. They are both afraid of love and commitment due to the events of their past. Yet fate throws them together and forces them into a highly tense situation. During this action packed, plot twisting adventure Logan and Katie have to navigate their way to safety and during the process fall in love. However, neither of them want to face up to love, running scared from their feelings. Logan, even though he really has experienced more heartache in his past finally decides that his fear should not keep him from love. Will Katie also be able to be strong enough to put aside her fears and live a life of love with Logan. You will have to one-click to find out.

Logan is being threatened by a mobster because he won't deliver the jet liners his company builds with special compartments so Marino can haul his drugs to America. he is supposed to meet with the man on this island. Instead to meeting the emissary, he observes two thugs trying to spike a young women's drink. Logan rescues her before she takes the drug laced drink. There's immediate chemistry between the two. Katie and her family are being blackmailed by the same monster and she was send to the island to get dirt on the billionaire Logan, in order to safe enough her Mom and the family business. This story has intrigue, humor, suspense. And a well written story line. The characters are strong and intriguing. I highly recommend this book. It was a quick easy read.

Saving the Bride is another winner by Kira Blakely. When billionaire Logan Wright walks into a seedy island bar to confront a Mafioso named Marino, the last thing he expected to find there was the beautiful woman that would turn his life upside down.
Beautiful journalist Katie Hendrickson has an agenda all of her own as she is sitting in the rundown bar, little does she know that the handsome stranger who comes to her aid is the man she was sent to harm.
This story is full of danger and heat as Katie and Logan's paths cross and intertwine as they both try to find their way out of some unsavory situations.
Another great read that had me not wanting to stop reading until the very end.

I really did enjoy this book but for some reason I didn’t get as attached or hooked to it like I normally do with Ms. Blakely’s books. I’m not sure why but it fell just a little short for me.
I think some of it was that I was somewhat confused through the beginning. At one point I thought that Katie/Jinx was who Logan was supposed to meet at the bar, but it wasn’t. There were other things that seemed to not make sense but then closer to the end, got cleared up, I guess. The other is Katie being called Jinx. I don’t mind if she’s got a nickname but it wasn’t consistent. Sometimes Logan called her Katie, sometimes Jinx.
Overall, still a good book that I’d recommend.

KB has again written a storyline that flows its strong and addictive drawing you in keeping the pages turning B4 you know it you're at the end. Katie and Logan are both headstrong characters, both hiding secrets from each other, neither want a commitment but the chemistry keeps pushing them together. Logan saves Katie in a bar when he sees someone spike her drink they spend a night of hot steamy sex together neither realising there worlds are so intertwined, they begin an adventure full of mystery, suspense, twists and a bucket loads of sex. What happens when the truth comes out?? Do they have a future together?? You will only know the answers if you read the book. I was given this as an ARC from Booksprout in exchange for a voluntary honest review.

Logan is a billionaire that is approached by a drug dealer wanting him to build planes for him with extra compartments to conceal drugs. He goes to the FBI and tells them and they tell Logan to meet him again. He goes to the island to meet Marino, the drug dealer, and sees a couple grungy men hitting on a woman and try to drug her. He saves her and they leave the bar. Katie know who he is because her mother is being threatened by Marino to have Katie find out dirt on Logan. Logan is attracted to Katie but doesn’t do relationships because women always burn him. Katie is attracted to but has her secret hanging over head. Excellent action packed contemporary billionaire romance. Logan went to a tropical island to meet a mafia boss who was trying to force him to make jets that would allow smuggling. Logan runs into a woman at a bar and rescues her. Katie can't believe that she's met the man she's suppose to get dirt on for the mafia. Her mom's life and business is on the line. After a few days together explosive actions take place both inside and out of the bedroom. Logan realizes why she's there and turns on her. Ms. Blakely did a wonderful job developing the main characters as well as learning more about both their pasts. All of Kira Blakely's books are the best; you just hate to put them down and hate when you finish. Most of this book took place on a small Carribean island owned mostly by Logan the hero in this story, but still Marino, the bad guy who's trying to force Logan to manufacture jets to his specifications, was able to take over and close the island down. But first he blackmailed Katie, daughter and chief writer for a NYC business newspaper, to come to the island and get the goods on Logan for him! So sure enough, there's danger, mystery, thrills, and hot chemistry and antagonism between Logan and Katie. I took off a star because six years later, although everybody is happy, Katie still has not been a bride!

OMG... You'll love this book so much

Get your hands on that book right away. There's a little something for lovers of every genre. And even though shit hits then fan, you'll totally love it.

Logan and Katie. Both forced to do something they don't want to, because they've been threatened by a criminal named Marino. And even though they don't want to fall for each other, the attraction is way too strong from the start.

Logan is a man you can do nothing but fall for. Katie is every man's dream. You won't be able to put this book down until you know they're both safe, happy and together. And every couple who's been through hell together, totally deserves a happy ending, right?

You're in for a wild ride and you're going to love it...

Fun story about billionaire Logan and business writer Katie who meet on a tropical island under covert but with the same focus in mind. Their immediate attraction throws them both off guard and that makes the storyline fun to follow along. Not only to we need to know how they will overcome this bad man but also what to do with their feelings and urges.
Kira Blakely always puts together a great storyline with engaging characters; This is another great example that fact. I'm recommending this book for your reading pleasure and enjoyment.

This was a suspenseful romance. Logan is in the middle of what looks like a dodgy deal when he rescues Katie (aka Jinx) from a couple unsavoury guys. There's spoilers to be had if I say anything more, but there's a bit of a mystery going on here, and a couple of people who are not in a position to reveal much at all, and a Mafioso at the centre of it. I really liked Logan, who was unexpectedly open with and protective towards Jinx. Jinx was torn between family loyalty and her love for Logan but she was smart & feisty in the face of danger.

This was a nice romantic suspense story. Being blackmailed by a drug runner, both Logan and Katie end up on a small tropical island... but they don’t meet until Logan saves Katie from a spiked drink and some unsavoury locals. Despite his complicated situation and her complicit involvement neither can walk away, as they discover their entwined fates and their mutual attraction the suspense will have you turning the page as fast as possible. You will want to keep reading as fast as you can to find out how the situation ends and whether they get their HEA?!

Kira does it again. Saving the Bride had tons of surprises and lots of love. Katie was on the island to get info on the billionaire, and Riley was on the island to make a business deal, but neither of them expected to find each other. All the while the mob was chasing them without them knowing, Riley and Katie found love, but never expected to wake up married. Neither of them wanted to be married, or did they. They couldn't ignore their feelings, but trouble wouldn't stop throwing gas on their fire either. Finding love in paradise is what we all dream of, but finding it when you least expect it makes it that much more precious.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book. I really loved this book, Kira has done it again. This story was fun, surprising, dangerous and full of suspense. Logan and Katie’s meeting isn’t quite as romantic as we would’ve loved. Katie is trying to help her mother out of a pickle with the mob and Katie has been tasked with getting information on Logan and reporting back. But when these two meet, the spark is undeniable and they are deliciously sexy together, but being together may cause them more harm than happiness. No spoilers here, this is a must read and I highly recommend it.

Love love love Kira's books. Always filled with great characters and great storylines and this one is no different. Katie and Logan meet and cannot disguise the instant attraction. Katie is a journalist and has to find some information to be used by a criminal called Marino. Logan meanwhile is working with the FBI to trap said criminal and this is where the story gets exciting. A very suspenseful and page turning book a must read if you like suspense, danger and a happy ever after. The story involves Katie, a beautiful sweet, sassy journalist, Logan a hot sexy billionaire, the mob, an accidental marriage, and a kidnapping. I really loved “Saving the Bride”. This captivating book is packed with drama, action, suspense, intrigue, secrets, hot, steamy sex and true love. The superb writing and interesting characters make this book a pleasure to read.
