After Danielle’s strenuous delivery of Nicolas, Kalkin has done everything he can to keep his pregnant mate, Keeley calm in the last weeks of her pregnancy. However, the twins have other plans.
Follow along as the Raferty twins make their debut.
TL Reeve was born out of a love of family and a bond that became unbreakable. Living in the south, TL misses Los Angeles and will one day return to the beaches of Southern California to ride the waves at Huntington Beach. When not writing something hot and sexy, TL can be found curled up with a good book, or working on homework with a cute little pixie.
A delightfully sweet, short read that I just went, "awww!" over! This short read should be read after Kalkin's. And trust me, you won't want to miss this. Its perfect, beautiful, exciting and made me think about how I felt before, during, and after giving birth. It brought back my feels and I enjoyed it immensely!
Twins is super sweet and a fast read and I give it a STUNNING FOUR AND A HALF SHOOTING STARS!
This one is for the fans. This short is a quick follow up to Kalkin. If you haven’t read Kalkin you probably should before reading this. This is a sweet tale detailing Colin & Ella’s entry into the world. You can just feel the awww’s.
Keeley had been up since four and the twins were restless. Kalkin worried incessantly about her after everything with Danielle, and now the early birth of Nicolas, he waited, expecting Keeley to go into labour at any moment.
Kalkin couldn’t fully blame his brother. He should have been prepared for Caden’s reaction when Simon opened his mouth and let loose with vile accusations complete with lies, contrived to drive a wedge and force Danielle and Keeley away.
Danielle is in the hospital and her son has been in the Neonatal care, both clinging to life, as Caden drowns his sorrows in a bottle convinced by Simon’s lies.
“I’m not defending him,” Kalkin whispered. “Getting angry with me won’t fix this.” “No, but it feels good. She did this for us. She almost died for us. To give us a chance. Why?”
Danielle was willing to sacrifice herself for them, so they could live and be free.
Not recognising that she’s been in active labour for about seven hours, they share a tub birth and deliver Colin and Ella at home.
She didn’t realise what was happening until it was happening. They’ve seen so much loss, death...destruction, this was the perfect way to experience the purity of new life. To be reminded of what they’re fighting for every day.
Kalkin & Keeley: TRIGGERS: stalking, sexual assault, kidnapping, torture, assault. So I've been waiting a long time to get into another Michele Ryan series but this is definitely co written. I didn't get the same feel of the book that you get from her "Savage MC" series and yes it's different because this is a shifter series but not really. We still have the kick a** female character and the overly alpha male with a hint of danger. As a shifter series, this was just a little sub par. There's more talk about what the characters can shift into instead of actually shifting into them. We get one moment with Kalkin's wolf and then that's it. Other than that, I loved the story. I love that Keeley are not quite human with their own special gifts and the element of danger making their move to town so suspicious. It's a good story… just not quite what I expect from a shifter romance. The bonus book "Twins" is basically an extra epilogue that shows us what happens months later. It's pretty much self explanatory.
Really enjoyed this little addition. Keeley and Kalkin have to deliver their twins themselves when they decide they are coming early. Short and sweet read at the back of book one, Kalkin.
This is a cute short story telling of the birth of Kalkin and Keeley’s twins. Of course Keeley doesn’t do thing the easy way. Read and enjoy the story.
This was a great quick read that gave me more Kalkin and Keeley. I loved reading about the birth of their twins. I received an ARC and am leaving my honest and voluntary review.
