This is the 3rd book I’ve read by these authors and this one was by far the very best!!! Bravo and well done!! Filthy as fuck!🤣
The prologue had me laughing so hard!!! I actually laughed a lot throughout the entire book!
Grant is a complete douchebag and one of the filthiest fuckers I’ve ever read! That said, he knows what he wants and he’s been like this forever so most folks just deal with him! I will say that sometimes he was so harsh and spoke with no regard for who he was speaking to and that was probably his only character flaw for me. I totally got used to it by the middle of the book. He just had THAT type of personality.
Carter...firstly I LOVE how these authors write “plus sized” characters! I don’t believe for one minute that she was plus size, I would consider her more “thick”, but the negative body image that she has is so real and the way they wrote her was EXCELLENT and spoke volumes! More authors should do this! She was not your typical zero sized model or heroine I believe she says “I’m double digits” and she loves beer and cheeseburgers! I really loved her! She was ballsy and to the point and gave Grant a total run for his money!!!
There were a couple things that were a bit over the top for me...the watch and the remote being two. I don’t know why Grant has this thing about putting things inside her pussy!!! That was a bit much...until the end of course😏
His use of “spit” just about did me in. I don’t do spit and I had a slight cringe 🤢with this portion of the book but I realized that he was just a filthy dirty boy and that’s what he did 🤷🏼♀️
Onto some serious shit...in my opinion Grant was a truly textbook functioning alcoholic, he totally disagrees with this statement. His friends decide to FINALLY step up to the plate and help him out by SUPPORTING him and not enabling him! I think this is largely due to Carter. His transformation both with alcohol and the way he dealt with his feelings was so good! I applaud these authors for this. It was subtle and it just happened without a lot of hubbub so to speak. By the time the epilogue came about I was truly in love with this couple and I LOVED the epilogue so so much, however, I wish so bad that he had been there. What i have failed to mention is that our loco Grant had a horrific childhood and deserved so much better than what he thought! This was such a good book and I will be recommending it to all my smut reading friends!!!

Yay for Grant and Carter’s book! I really enjoyed it and what a great addition to the series. Oh my stars, I like to call Grant, McKinky Boots! I’m not sure how Carter got through all the things he liked to put in her “fun box” but g dang, he’s one dirty bird. This one is really, really hot. Carter is my hero, she put up with so much from Grant. But underneath Grant’s ego and immaturity is a caring heart. I loved the epilogue, it was so sweet.

The funniest prologue I have ever read.
Basically, there are friends who are into foursomes + Hero who is an absolute a$$ + heroine who just couldn’t resist him.
It was an enjoyable read at times and I did probably skim parts but I would be open to reading more from this author.

This is Grant and Carter Dawn we're talking about and OMG I FREAKING LOVE GRANT. I mean, come on. He's dirty, he's gorgeous, he's a bad ass. He's everything I want in my cowboys.
And Carter Dawn is the perfect contrast for him. She's exactly what he needs and I couldn't get enough of this book.
This is probably my favorite Kenshaw book, but don't tell Tommy or Chase. And really, this is at the top because of Tommy. Those two are....hot. Super hot.

Grant was the quirky cowboy of the Kenshaw Ranch bunch. He thought it, he said it. Occasionally funny, always crude but he burrowed into your heart. Grant however, has come to a fork in the road of his life. One leading to a known outcome and the other a whole knew world...one he says he doesn’t want. But there’s a turning point that he nor his heart can ignore.
Carter has picked up and moved her whole life to the backwoods country. She’s with her boss and new friends. But a certain cowboy has stirred up some feelings she just can’t get over. She was simply looking for a quick ride with Grant Matthews but she’s coming to terms with what she wants but knows she can’t have.
Grant and Carter just sort of melted together and fit like a perfect puzzle piece. Their chemistry and heat kept them and us coming back for more. Their banter and honesty was incredible to read. This is my favorite book out of the entire Kenshaw Ranch series.
Grant is the life of the party. No commitment for him, but when Carter shows up to work for Affton he finds a friends with benefits with Carter. No strings attached is all Grant is in it for so when Carter asks what the future holds, Grant runs. Thinking he only has to give Carter a little time and he can come back as the life of the party. And Grant is never boring
Carter moves from California to work for Affton. She has heard many stories about Grant and has even been warned to stay away from him. But there is something in his bad boy behavior she can not stay away from, even when he infuriates her. She soon learns her lesson from Grant that he will never show any feelings. So she has to try to move on. When things get too difficult she packs her stuff to leave.
So much happens in this book. It was such a fantastic read I will have to place it in my re read pile. Piper Frost can write about cowboys.

"I should hate the man, but I don't. It's the Grant effect, and it's hitting me hard."
Let me preface that I laughed so much during this book!! The antics of this crew always brighten my day. Grant had a lot of endearing qualities BUT I think I hated him more than his qualities made him endearing. I think that was the whole point, but I found myself unable to get past some of the things he said and did throughout the story. His immaturity, his self-destructive behavior, his down right ridiculous mouth just didn't make that transition from that to something I could fall in love with. I loved his vulnerability in spots, the couple was hot as all get out, but I didn't fall for him the way I did with the other Kenshaw boys. Had a blast reading him though, and I thank the Authors for providing a copy to review. *3.5 stars*

Gah! Grant was everything I knew he could be. Some readers aren’t getting to understand Grant and Lilly hate who he is but because I love to read about jerks and seem them transform.... I had so much love for him. Yeah, he was a huge D-bag to Carter at times, took people for granted but that’s just who he was and I love that he didn’t change who he was throughout the book. I also love the that Cater accepted him for who he was and the things he was into. This book had my heart doing flips and then sent it right into flops. (Sigh) I loved the heat levels that the author threw at us. It was HOT hot and I wanted so much more of those kinky scenes. Simply put, while I love all the books in the Kenshaw ranch series, Wasted has to be my favorite. I am truly heart broken that this series is over. (Is it bad that I still want to secretly hope that there could be more.....). Anyways, this book rocked and I know fans of this series will not be disappointed. 5 stars #2OCCJD

Ahh, what can I say... I fell for the Grant effect too! I would give this 4.5 stars... What can I say, Grant can sometimes be a douche canoe, but even if he is, you can't help but love him anyway. I laughed a lot throughout this book. Both he and Carter Dawn were funny, lovable, and swoon worthy in their own right. I have to say that Wasted was my favorite book thus far of the Kenshaw Ranch series! I know sometimes a series can get stale or stall when it gets 4 or 5 books in, but I think this one keeps getting better! And, the ending. Gah! Who knew it was going to pull that much emotion!?! I think we all need a little Grant in our lives! He is funny, honest, says it like he means it, but there is heart there... deep down under all that attitude, there is heart there! Sometimes you wanted to kill him, sometimes you wanted to slap him, and sometimes, well, you wanted a little one on one with him! :) Fantastic job ladies! Excellent book!

The Granteffect has pulled me in!! Grant is one cocky SOB that you want to hate and love at the same time. He has no filter at all. I'm sure some of the stuff he says will turn people off, but I loved him!
Carter brings out the best of him and we get to see a whole new side of Grant. You may want to leave the panties behind while reading this book because it is super hot!!!! Affton and Tommy play a big role in this story too. If you've followed the series, you won't be surprised with some of the naughtiness that comes up. And Grant is very naughty 😉 I loved Carter and how she doesn't put up with all Grant's crap. She's the perfect woman for him and he's too stubborn to realize.
The emotions run high at some points of the story and it's so beautifully put together. I loved the Kenshaw Ranch crew!!

So many times once you reach book 5 in a series the heart, heat, emotions and storytelling begins to fade. Wasted defies that idea in more ways than one. Grant Matthews is the epitome of the bad boy everyone loves and has zero filter. If he thinks it, he says it. He has that "it" factor, the #granteffect that keeps people drawn to him and he knows it.
Carter Dawn is a city girl that follows Afton to her country home with Tommy as her personal assistant. She is completely unprepared for how wild things can be in the country, but when it comes to Grant and his sexual desires she's more than ready to match him.

You know going in what a jerk he is but it's like a train wreck..you just can't stop watching! You will hate him and fall in love with him on every page!!
I could not put this down..except when I had to adult.
Grant is a party boy with one thing on his mind..getting laid. No strings is what he wants until Carter.
Carter Dawn is everything Grant doesn't know he wants. She is beautiful and head strong and gives as good as she gets. But when feelings start to get involved you know there is heartbreak on the horizon. Leave it to these two authors to make the angst as angsty as it can get.

Have you ever wondered what Christian Grey would be like if he were a hot blooded cowboy? Well, wonder ni more. Grant Matthews is your answer. I have never been more turn on while wanting to shake the stubborn character so much his literal teeth would rattle. He is the most enfuriating yet hilariously loveable male character I have encounter in a long time and I loved how much you see him evolve from his goofy self into a deep and tortured man how needs the right girl to set him in the right path. And boy did Carter put him in his place more than once. The girl deserves a medal for putting up with him. If you thought he was bad in 'Control' then just wait until you get to know him better! Does this man have any kind of filter at all?! NO! If you like your men DIRTY than look no further because Grant is your man! Do you like your woman dirty?! Well I can't let you get away with thinking that Carter is innocent because she is the perfect match to Grant's type of dirty! She can hold her own and give him a run for his money! Wasted is so good that you just may need to change your panties a few times throughout this read. I love what Piper Frost bring to this book. Who would have thought Affton, Tommy, Carter Dawn and Grant would be one hot package. Carter is not looking for anything in her moves in with Affton and Tommy but once she sees Grant hang on. Just wow with Grant. He is kind of a hot mess of a man who you can't help but to love. This book is full of laughs and sexy times you didn't see coming. No words for this F*N amazing book! After reading Wasted straight through and only stopping to change my panties (twice) 😍 I’m now left with the best book hangover! Well they did it again! Another outstanding book. Grant and Carter are just 2 stupendous characters, they bring out the best in each other. I have to admit I kept waiting for Grant to die in a plane crash (because that’s what these authors live to do to their readers) lmao but I was happily surprised he lived to the end of the book! Smoking hot sexual chemistry between these two characters, some of it may make you say ewww buy then other things you’re going ohhhh hahah

A fun, emotional read!
I been waiting for Grant’s story ever since the start of this series and it didn’t disappoint. You will find yourself loving him one minute and wanting to bash his head in another. Grant is delicious!!!
If you need a fun but very dirty read then this is it! Grant will give you ALL THE DIRTY!! I just can't deal with how much I loved him and that piercing. This book is just all things amazing. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the quick proposal threw me off. I felt it needed more closure of other things before it happened but I still totally recommend it!!!

The Grant Effect 😍😍😍 My Grant is such an asshole but damn is he awesome! I loved Carter too especially when she wasnt putting up with his shit! I am so sad the Kenshaw series is over, these cowboys are life! The emotions this story pulled out of me were a lot deeper then I expected them to be maybe because a lot of the issues that Carter and Grant dealt with are real.

Well Piper Frost has done it again. This time though I wanted to throat punch Grant for being an ass to Carter Dawn in the beginning. But as the story progressed Grant grew on me. Carter Dawn is the most kick ass heroine. She was also such a loyal friend to Beanie. I was glad she got her happily e ever after..

Let me say first that prologue was so good and funny! This series just keeps getting better, and l would say Wasted is my favorite! OMG Grant is one sexy, dirty talking cowboy and Carter she is one sexy curvy woman that gives back to Grant! Carter & Grant are perfect together!

I've read and loved the other Kenshaw Ranch books, so I was anxiously awaiting Grant's story. As expected, he's a hot mess... His story keeps you guessing all the way to the end. And I loved the ending! Very well done!!
