Lacey always dreamed of a trip to Pompeii but never thought it would happen, until her cousin calls out of the blue, asking if Lacey would like to replace their photographer on their archeological dig.
Sebastian wasn’t expecting Lacey to be, well … Lacey. But he’s intrigued from the start, and then he sees what she can do— even before she does.
As the images of the past rise in front of Lacey, taxing her artistic ability to document them, strange events start happening. Without reason, the atmosphere on the dig shifts to something supernatural that scares her, intrigues her, then consumes her.
For Sebastian these events all bring back memories of the worst dig in his life, and he can see history repeating itself. He needs to stop it this time. He must protect his team and his friends, but especially Lacey … before everyone dies—just like they did last time.

This trip means everything to Lacey but is it just her interest in history that has her so eager or is it something deeper calling to her? Lacey goes from excitement and eagerness to confusion and fear, bewilderment has her questioning everything she sees, feels and does, including her growing feelings for Sebastian. Sebastian appears abrasive and short tempered when we meet him, almost rude, but as we get to know him better we see many sides to his personality. His care for, and protection of, Lacey steals your heart and his devastation at reliving his losses again break your heart too. I really like Lacey and Sebastian as a couple and look forward to Hunter finally finding his 'one' too.
Lacey has always been fascinated with Pompeii. When her cousin working on a dig to excavate parts of Pompeii asks Lacey if she wants to work at the dig taking photos, Lacey jumps at the chance. After Lacey is in an accident, the dig supervisor Sebastian takes an interest in keeping Lacey safe. Strange things start to happen to Lacey and Sebastian is there to help her through it. It takes Lacey a while to realize that she has physic abilities and come to terms with what is happening at the dig. I wasn't that interested in Pompeii before reading the book, but the book has definitely peaked my interest. Like all of the books in Dale Meyer's physic vision series. There was mysterious action and an unexpected twist at the end. This book has something for everyone.

This is a great psychic visions suspense filled romance story. When Lacey lost her mom she realized she had no one.Working as a teacher she had the summer off but after paying her mom's medical bills, funeral expenses and mortgage she didn't have money to go anywhere. When she got a call from her cousin Chana that she was always close to asking if she would like to volunteer to take pictures on the archeological site for two weeks she's be flown over to Pompeii,Italy and would stay with the team working on the site. She was excited because she has dreamed of going to Pompeii ,Italy since she was a child. So of course she said yes.Now that she was in Pompeii she was so excited to get started. But when her cousin said for her to take a nap and they would all get together for dinner. That they would start at the site first thing in the morning. And they start early so be prwpared. So even though she knew she wouldn't sleep she tried then before she knew it she was going to dinner with a group of people working the site. When She had such a good time she said that she was excited to start. But everyone said that some strange things were happening. When she went to the site the next morning she started taking pictures as soon as she stepped door on the site and before she knew it it was lunch time as she showed Chana the photos on her camera her cousin said that no one had ever taken pictures that good. They got back to work and Lacey lost herself in the photos again when her cousin said its time to go.She couldn't believe that the day has passed so fast. The next day the boss showed up he was watching Lacey. There was something special about this beautiful woman she flowed with a white light of happiness. When he started asking about the damage to the mummy and the damaged and stolen tools,Chana said that until the mummy was damaged it was just small stuff and she didn't think it was necessary to bother him. Then Tom stepped up and said that it was him that decided. As Chana and Lacey stepped away Lacey took a few pictures of Sebastin and she asked Chana if it was ok to take pictures of the other team when Chana said there was no other team. She was asked by Sebastin what team no one had a reason to be on the site but Toms team.Lacey showed him the pictures she said you couldn't see their faces anyway.Sebastian said don t take pictures of anyone but the team on the dig. There was something about this woman that has him wanting to protect her he guess he's be hang in around longer than he thought. Then he took Chana aside and told her to text him or call if anything at all happened. As they got home everyone was rushing around getting ready to go out for dinner. As the group was walking to the restaurant Chan's said Lacey but it was too late she had stepped out into traffic and was hit by a car she flew up and came down hard everyone wanted to take her to the hospital but she said in hungry that food and a hot bath she's be fine. Her cousin was texting someone. When they order food everyone was quiet because in walked Sebastin and he sat across from Lacey and asked what happened before she could answer Chana said that she was hit by a car.Lacey said that she was looking at everything and stepped into traffic and was hit but she was ok.He asked did she step into traffic or was she pushed Lacey just looked at him.He said after dinner he was taking her to be checked out by a Dr .So when dinner was over Lacey tried to hide how much pain she was in but Sebastin noticed it.She asked how far they had to go he said a couple more buildings.Lucky for Lacey she didn't break any bones the Dr looked at her she was one big bruise he gave her a couple of shots and then cleaned her feet and put bandages on them then cleaned her sandals but she said she didn't want to leave tracks in his house he told her not to worry about it.The danger, suspense, twists and turns will keep you riveted until the very last page .I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

Dale delivers a wonderful story with history and emotion, in another page turning Psychic Visions book. This book is filled with an abundance of questions as history is uncovered. The further Lacey and Sebastian dig, with the help of a very gifted psychic, Hunter - they discover hidden talents, a life lived in nightmare. A young stranger from the distant past has a story that must be resolved. Unlocking the past brings mishaps and certain death as evil also grabs hold. Such a beautiful blend of what life was like in the ancient city of Pompeii, Italy with those touches of a tragedy at a Mayan site years ago are told amongst the present…
Dale’s books, can be read stand alone with out prior background from the previous books and this I felt only had minor glimpses with Stefan so won’t impact if you haven’t read more of the series. With that said, I’m hoping this is introducing some of those elusive characters that have been hard to pin down previously…
This was a beautiful, thought provoking story, I love catching up and revisiting the Psychic Visions world. I highly recommend reading UNMASKED and then if you have time - the entire series. This series is one that if you enjoy the paranormal gifts and all they harness then delve into the series from the beginning to gain that sense of familiarity and perspective of the special connections within their world,

Lacey Paulson is a Kansas teacher who has always dreamed of seeing the ruins of Pompeii. She has had been passionate about Pompeii since she was a young girl. Because of that, she had always wanted to be an archeologist. However, because of her mother’s long illness, she had to settle for being a teacher.
Her dream finally comes true when her cousin, Chana, an archeologist who is working on a dig in Pompeii, invites her to work on with her group. Their photographer had gone home, and Lacey is hired to replace her.
Her supervisor is Sebastian, who has had his own psychic experiences. On his very first dig, there were a lot accidents and sightings which eventually turned deadly.
Since he has been in Pompeii, he had already seen some psychic visions before Lacey arrived. However, all of the eerie noises, lights and happenings increase after Lacey joins the team. Sebastian realizes that Lacey is the catalyst that galvanizes all of this unusual activity.
When Sebastian understands how far-reaching Lacey’s psychic skills are, he decides to work with her. They hope to discover more information about Pompeii as well as find out who has been stealing some of their artifacts and tools.
Ms. Mayer calls this series “A Psychic Visions Novel.” Therefore, there are lots of ghostly events that occur during the dig. Many of these events come from ghosts who were alive during the time of the volcano eruption.
This book is filled with non-stop action, thrills and intrigue as Sebastian and Lacey try to protect themselves from unfriendly, dangerous ghosts and stay safe from lots of near-fatal accidents.
Does fate control our path toward the future, or does the past hold the key? Where DO our predispositions for what piques our passions originate? Lacey’s interest in Pompeii and her dogged determination to visit this place, where a volcanic eruption devastated an entire city and its people, seem to have been born with her. Life and her mother’s terminal illness drove her opportunities. Instead of becoming an archeologist like her cousin Chana, Lacey makes her living by teaching history and feeds her soul with her photography hobby. And now, she is in Pompeii during the school summer break thanks to Chana’s need for a temporary photographer on a dig in a remote area of the city’s ruins.
Someone or something also has brought malicious mischief to the dig site, an occurrence much like one Sebastian experienced ten years ago at a Mayan site that cost the lives of almost his entire dig team. As the head of the foundation funding the Pompeii site, he is worried about the safety of his team, especially the new photographer. Passionate about what she sees through her camera lens, he discovers that what Lacey does see is far more than anyone else does.
Dale Mayer has created a storyline rich in character, culture, and atmosphere both current and historical. It’s engaging and checks all my boxes for drama and suspense with just the right touch of romance, excitement, and the inability to put the book down until everything was figured out.
Five stars is not enough for this one. Loved it!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the best Psychic Visions story yet! A Best-Seller for sure!
This story gave me thrills and chills! It also inadvertently gave me a history lesson. I have always been fascinated with Vesuvius and Pompeii so this story was right up my alley!
My initial thoughts were that this story was going to be kind of cheesy in a commercial kind of way but after just a few pages in I realized how wrong I was. I loved the detailed descriptions of the dig site and the explanations of the photographs being taken. These details put you right in the middle of what Lacey was seeing as she takes her photos. I also love her compassion for other people, especially how she endured her mother’s illness and thought of her mother’s well being right up to her passing.
The more involved Lacey gets in taking pictures of each and every little object at the dig site and her imagination takes hold, the more intense this story becomes. It makes you believe that paranormal instances could possibly happen with these old civilizations and why. I love how Lacey has the ability to speak with the dead and identify who it is she’s communicating with.
I love the many twists and turns this story evolves with to create the mysterious entities that are causing all of the abnormal things to happen that can’t be explained in the normal world. I won’t give any spoilers away but I never expected the “villain” to be who it is when they are revealed, I was totally blown away and entertained.
I am excited to read so much more from Dale Mayer. I truly loved this excellent story!
Lacey's life long dream of going to Pompeii is finally coming true. Her cousin Chana has asked her to come and do photography work for her on an archeological dig in Pompeii. As she will soon learn, there have small accidents and tools used for the excavation missing. Sebastian is the head boss and is getting worried because he has seen these things happen before at another dig that he and he buddies were on that went south and the only one that made it out alive was him with the help of Hunter. Both of them have special abilities. Lacey will soon find out that she does to. But admitting to it is something else altogether. Her first day there she is hit by a car and Sebastian is seeing energy footprints. When he tells Jeremiah they think that should get in touch with Stefan because all he can think of is may be happening again in Pompeii. When Lacey starts seeing things that no one else can see Sebastian and Hunter watch over her and try to help her understand what is happening. And they think that whatever it is may be after her and the rest of his team. Woah, there is so much good stuff going on in this story it's mind bogglingly. The plot twists are going to keep you guessing who or what is the culprit doing everything right until the end. I was so engaged in this book I had to reheat my Tea, light my candle, and dig in. I read the whole thing in one go. This is another great story from Dale Mayer. I'm giving this one 5 HUGE Stars.
With Unmasked, Ms. Mayer mixes history and adventure, creating an intriguing mystery novel. While the background research is reasonably accurate, the setting, a peculiar blend between the time of the Mayans and Ancient Rome, wonderfully provides the excuse for the author to give a fresh and intriguing touch to the story. The main focus rests on the personal circumstances of the female protagonist, Lacey. A history teacher with a remarkable artistic gift, she embarks on the vacation of her dreams when her cousin, an archeologist, invites her to volunteer as a photographer on her latest dig in Pompeii. There, Lacey soon discovers her psychic powers, and is forced to test them immediately when she unwillingly becomes involved in the strange and dark circumstances surrounding the dig. With the help of her new friends, human and not, Lacey quickly learns how to master her powers, engaging in a breathtaking, unnerving and very emotional battle against evil forces. The result is a fascinating and captivating story, slightly shady, with plenty of twists and turns and an unexpected ending. At times, I assume in the attempt to hide crucial details, ensuring that the plot remains shrouded in mystery, the storyline does get a little confused. In the end, however, most loose ends are resolved and the result is a pleasant and engaging book. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Opinions and comments are solely my own.
Once again I am amazed by the story telling of this author. I am not one for paranormal etc reads but I am starting to enjoy them a bit more. This one centres on Lacey, a middle school history teacher who has always been drawn to Pompeii and now that her cousin is on an archeological dig there, she invites Lacey when they need a photographer, a dream come true for her. She meets Sebastian, who is heading the dig and a man who has a history with paranormal and a special ability he lives with everyday. Odd accidents are happening on the dig that remind him of a terrible event that happened 10 years ago and strange occurrences that involve Lacey brings out her special ability. Lacey is all sunshine, light and love but a dark evil force is drawn to her and if she doesn’t get a handle and protect herself...she may be lost to dark. A great read with a bit of steam and some suspense. I enjoyed the read and all the characters, trying to figure out the mystery of the masks, what the spirits are trying to tell Lacey, and whether the spirits are good or evil. The descriptions are spot on and I felt like I was right there seeing what was being described. I also loved the no drama between the two and how they work together and not let what others think deter them. Only thing missing for me was an epilogue, tying up what happens with the dig, what Lacey decides to do and where do the two end up. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
Lacey has always been obsessed with Pompeii in Italy and gets the chance in a lifetime opportunity to go there as a photographer on her cousin's archaeological dig there. Sebastian is the manager there and never expected to find her as intriguing as he does which is magnified exponentially when he sees what she is able to do. Images from the past rise in front of her and she uses her artistic ability to document them. However strange events start happening which is both intriguing and very scary when it starts to consume her. For Sebastian it brings back memories of the worst dig of his life and he can see history repeating itself. Can he protect the team, friends and especially Lacey before everyone dies like last time?
This was a great paranormal story that included lots of details of Pompeii, folklore and supernatural beings. I loved the way the story developed and the suspense built as Lacey and Sebastian both fought their own battles in order both work out and come to terms with what was happening and the potential for a relationship between them. I loved the twists and turns in the story and most of them I didn't see coming. Well written and very enjoyable you can read this stand alone and don't need to have read any of the other stories in the series.
This is the fourteenth book in the Psychic Visions series.
Middle-school history teacher Lacey Paulson dreamed of Pompeii as a child, a fascination that never left her, increasing in intensity as she aged. She never had the chance to visit that area of Italy until now, her cousin working an archaeological site there gets her a job as a photographer for a few weeks. For Lacey this is the thrill of a lifetime and nothing like she expects, her world is about to be upended, incredible happenings will stretch the boundaries of everything she’s ever believed and also threaten her life. Wondrous sights emerge through the lens of Lacey’s camera and then onto a sketch pad she doesn’t remember drawing on, she sees what others cannot, the distant past as it once was.
Sebastian Bentley heads an archaeological dig at a previously untouched portion of Pompeii. He’s been on site more often because of the strange incidents that keep occurring. The superstitious believe that disturbing the resting place of the dead can awaken a curse, something Sebastian knows is possible from first-hand experience at a Mexican Mayan site where people mysteriously died. He’s not unfamiliar with restless spirits, the psychic world is one he walks being able to read auras. He’ll have to decide if what is happening is resultant of the actions of a competitor or paranormal activity. The temp photographer intrigues him, her aura is unique, there is more to the woman than she herself realizes.
Today the existence of psychics is accepted but today cannot be the only time in human history where psychics existed. How were they dealt with in the past? How did they survive the superstitions of earlier civilizations? This story proposes an interesting premise, a dark mystery to be solved, and how the past might connect to the present. The imaginative plot is heavily psychic, inclusive of auras, restless spirits, Pompeii, Mayans, channeling, past viewing, possession, and reincarnation. The protagonists were likable but this reader couldn’t feel the romantic connection between them, not enough emotional depth for how much was going on around them. I was left wondering the nature of destiny and circumstances, would Lacey have ever learned of her abilities if she hadn’t gone to Pompeii?
An advanced reading copy was obtained from the author.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
I don't normally read this type of book BUT I absolutely adore the author's writing. This book held me spellbound throughout. I really had a hard time putting it down. I watched a mini-series on Pompeii many years ago and I too was entranced by the culture and the events of it's destruction. This book brought it all back to life for me. The characters were wonderful and I hope there are additional stories revolving around the secondary characters. The plot played out just like a mini-series and it was wonderful to read (and watch in my mind!!!)
This book was written in my favorite dual POV format. It helped me especially on Sebastian's side to understand some of what was going on here considering his' history. The surrounding (if my poor pea-brain couldn't comprehend the details of the landscape) was easily looked up on the internet to help bring it to life. The author does a great job in this though and I just looked up Stabian Gate just to see what it actually looked like.
I highly recommend this book and definitely this author to anyone. You will not want to stop reading her books!!!
Now I have to confess, I hadn't read this series because I wasn't sure about the whole Psychic thing. I love Dale's other series so I decided to try for this ARC and I am very glad I did.
Lacey has always wanted to go to Pompeii having been fascinated by a documentary about the eruption when she was just a child. Now the opportunity arises when the photographer on a dig there quits and her cousin, Chana, gives her a call.
With school out, Lacey is able to take advantage of this opportunity and things start getting interesting almost immediately.
As Lacey takes more photos and also sketches areas of the dig. Sebastian realizes that what she is seeing, not only in the photos but portraying in her sketches was uncannily accurate of the past, not the current status of the ruins.
Plenty of strange and unusual occurrences, even stranger people and a possession that will surprise the living daylights out of you. All entwined in the beautiful tragic ruins of Pompeii.
I couldn't put this book down and I will definitely be reading more of this series.
The entire Psychic Visions series is grand exploration of what might be if only we could free ourselves from the more mundane reality of day to day living. My heart beats a little faster and my mind works a little harder to grasp what is happening in the alternative reality Ms. Mayer writes about.
Unmasked mostly takes place in the ruins of Pompeii when Lacey, an amateur photographer joins her cousin, Chana at an excavation site in the buried city. Lacey is immediately captivated by the city and its air of mystery. As she begins to experience unexpected visions through the lens of her camera, Lacey meets and is drawn to Sebastian, a partner in the Foundation that is sponsoring the excavation. The danger grows as Lacey demonstrates ever increasing psychic abilities.
I could not put this book down. My Kindle was my constant companion as I just had to read more of this story during every spare moment I had. I highly recommend this book and series to everyone who enjoys reading paranormal thrillers.
I really could not wait for this book since I love the series so much. I thought it was a definitely different situation for the psychic series. The book brings in a little of Dr. Maddie and a little more of Stephan but I can always use more of them. I like the fact that it was such a historic setting and that it takes place in a place of historic mass destruction. I also loved seeing more of Hunter and can't wait for him to get his own story. I felt this story was different from the others in the fact that Lacey was doing and seeing so much and had no clue. Sebastian came across as harsh at the beginning and I must admit that I was not sure I would like him, but he grew on me. The book is rich in historical descriptions and I love the detail. It reminds us that in places of mass destruction all the souls lost there are not resting.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I was kindly provided this book as an ARC; in exchange for my honest review.
This series is my absolute favorite by Ms. Dale. Every book is interesting. If you’re looking for her typical “Romance” type book then you may not enjoy this book. There is a very mild romance involved, but it is not the forefront of the story.
This book is centered on Sebastian, Lacey & Hunter (Of course with a little of the beloved Stefan thrown in). The story takes place at an archeological dig in Pompeii. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’ve always had a huge interest & fascination for the people & events of Pompeii, Italy, 79 AD.
Ms. Dale did an excellent job of maintaining the suspense, but also giving us an “insight” from that world. My only complaint is we have to wait until July for the next book!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sebastian had bad feelings of deja vu when accidents started happening at archaeological site in Pompeii. Lacey is so excited to be able to volunteer at the site as a photographer. It has been her lifelong dream. After Lacey has an accident, Lacey sees more in Pompeii than anyone else and is able to show Sebastian through her drawings. Sebastian's main concern is keeping Lacey safe from evil. I received a free copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. This is a suspenseful and sometimes eerie story. Lacey doesn't always recognize the danger that she is in. Her goodness might be drawing the evil closer. Sebastian is an interesting character who has faced evil in his past at another site. I really liked the characters and the story. I recommend this book.
Unmasked Master by Dale Mayer Psychic Visions Series Book Fourteen Lacey Paulson's dream has come true. Ever since she was a young child, she dreamt of going to Pompeii. And now, thanks to her cousin, her chance has come. But something dark is lurking at the dig they are at and somehow Lacey seems connected to it. Something in her comes alive that she didn’t know about.
Sebastian Bentley is intrigued with Lacey from the start and then when he sees her “talent” he’s drawn in even more. But as things start happening, it brings back the nightmare of another dig where everything went bad. Very bad.
As always, the books in this series just grab a hold and keep me reading until the end. Clear details so I feel like I see what they see, feel what they feel. Loved it! **Sexual content and language https://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com...
This was another fantastic entry into the Psychic Visions series. I really enjoyed it, there were a lot of thrills, suspense, and mystery to keep me entertained until the very end.
I always get a lot of intrigues and mystery with this series and this time we're taken to Pompeii, where all the mystery before and after the volcano that decimated Pompeii are revealed. We're given a bit of history on both Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii, I'm always happy when I get a bit of an education as well as being entertained by a book.
As always, a lot of psychic adventure takes place, and we are introduced to a new psychic Lacy (the poor girl didn't even know what she was) it's always so much fun to watch them learn and then accept their ability.
I can't wait for the next installment in this series.
Wow! This book is packed full with history, suspense, archeology, paranormal and romance. Sebastian is the head of an archeological dig in Pompeii while Lacey is a elementary school teacher.
Lacey has been obsessed with the history of Pompeii for as long as she can remember. She receives a call from her cousin asking if Lacey could be the photographer for the dig she is working on in Pompeii. Lacey jumps at the chance and off she goes.do
Sebastian arrives on site several days after Lacey arrives. He is really mad at Lacey's cousin for not reporting to him some strange occurrence s with the dig...tools missing, equipment breaking and people getting injured.
This was a kind of a scary story because I could never really tell what could happen next. Ms. Mayer can really write a story that will keep you guessing. This book is a stand-alone but it is a part of the Psychic Vision series. If you read this book I am sure you will want to go back to read all the other stories
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A top notch thrilling, adrenaline inducing romantic suspense with some fantastic characters and a edge of your seat plot that just got thicker and juicer the more you went along! Dale Mayer is one of my favorite authors to follow for great romantic suspense stories. But this newer series is something extra special. There is that touch of the...paranormal in it that adds a extra bit of appeal to the scenes. Its so good and incredible and very addicting.
I loved how the story flowed. It was intense at times with great romances mixed in. It was and is a very memorable story. Its entertainment at its best with phenomenal action and suspense and heart clenching romance.
Unmasked gets a GREAT FOUR AND A HALF SHOOTING STARS!
I was immediately drawn into this unique read and couldn't put it down or turn the pages fast enough to see what was going to happen. I really liked Lacey Paulson, a high school teacher on summer vacation, who is called by her cousin to come photograph the artifacts at an archaeological dig at Pompeii - her lifelong dream has come true. I enjoyed her dynamic with the other characters, especially Sebastian Bentley, the boss. This riveting book is suspenseful, emotional, thought-provoking, and includes mystery, good and evil, ghosts, twists and turns. Fans of this genre should plan to read Unmasked, book 14 in Dale Mayer's Psychic Visions series.
I received an advance reader copy of this book from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and unbiased review.
4.5 Stars This is book 14 in the Psychic Visions series and it features Sebastian and Lacey. About a third of the way through this book the extremely low key romance started to surface. Honestly there was so much happening that I didn’t even miss a hot and heavy romance. The story line was amazing! I was so enthralled in what was happening it started to feel like I was watching a movie. The action, the plot twists, the characters and all the suspense made for such an exciting adventure. It really leaves you thinking about open doors to good and bad places, good versus evil, past lives, etc.
I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure of reading this wonderfully written book and I look forward to more from this extremely talented author.
Lacey is a history teacher with a love of photography. When she has the opportunity to spend the summer in Pompeii on an archeology dig, she can’t wait to visit the place that she has always been interested in.
Sebastian is leading the dig however the mysterious occurrences that happening at the site are bringing up memories of a previous dig where he lost members of his team. He is drawn to Lacey and believes that she can see more than even she realizes but keeping her and his team safe is becoming a challenge.
This story takes you on an intriguing and suspenseful journey as Lacey and Sebastian not only uncover the secrets of the site and the past but their feelings for each other. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Loveeeee...loveeeee this book a lot. I'm always a big fan of paranormal romance books and this one is not an exception. The thrill, suspense, and mystery hooked me from beginning and add those things with sweet romance and I'm a goner. Love everything, even the creepiness makes me can't stop. This one is setting on an excavation site so the psychic phenomena is very thick and put the frightening experience in another level, but it has a captivating story, so it feels like I'm experiencing an adventure to pull the curtains to reveal the mystery that happening through out this book.
If you love paranormal suspense, I think you'll love this one.
*I voluntarily received a review copy of this book
Wow oh wow oh wow. What a mind bender. This one blows me away. Pager turner extraordinar. Just when you think there is nothing else to say or to read, you find more and more. My emotions were all over the place. I laughed, I wept and I wanted more. Dale Mayer delivered another bind bender in this book 14 of the Psychic Visions Series. There is nothing bland or plain about this series or this book. Unmasked says it all. Now I wait for book 15 in this series. I wrote this trying to keep spoilers out. I hope I succeeded. However, there are more Dale Mayer books out there to read. No mater the genre she has a book for it. She will never disappoint you. Keep on writing Dale and we will keep on reading.
Great Paranormal Mystery/Romance This was a great entry in the Psychic Visions series. With each book we meet new characters with special abilities.
Enjoyed the historical setting and the insights into Pompeii. Lacey and Sebastian meet when Lacey comes to photograph the sight. The romance builds throughout the story as does the suspense. Lots of action in this one and enjoyed as always seeing Stefan, the central character of all the books. I especially like how when Lacey sees the past, we don't really know its not real until later. There were several scenes where the author did this, which made it very interesting. Great ending as always.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
