Colton is a man on the run and now part of the Witness Protection Program and his "new life" starts in the small town of Friday Harbour ...
Now to be honest , I could see myself settling in Friday Harbour , the people are nice and the town itself just has something about it that attracts me , but this isn't about me or where I want to live 😂😂😂😂
So often we hear people saying that you should leave your past behind you but isn't it also true that our past defines or moulds us ? Well , despite the danger Colton is in he can'tcan't seem to leave his past totally behind him and I think that's his driving force at the end of the day ....
I felt sorry for Lori , she was collateral damage and all she wanted to do was reach out and be a friend 😢
I had my suspicions about Ken and Randalph, it turns out that I was right about one and not the other ....
Something that struck a chord in me again , the hospitality ,kindness and trust often shown to strangers and new comers by small town folk , they seem to lack suspicion and a man's word is is honour ❣
All in all a good read , all is well that ends well .
