The hacking of a data center, an experimental weapon, and a criminal mastermind--what have the Icarus detectives gotten themselves into this time?An explosion has blown a hole in the side of the Gold Stream data center in Utah. It was thought to be just an accident, but something even more dangerous has happened. Hackers have breached the servers holding valuable corporate and government secrets.

Arthur Jackson, the lead security agent of the center, needs to know answers before the federal authorities find out what happened, so he enlists the help of Murphy and Galveston and the rest of the unorthodox team of detectives at Icarus Investigations.

The case should have been easy, but it quickly spirals out of control because the team realizes they've become a pawn and a target in a deadly game. A new weapon, once previously thought to be only experimental, was used to attack the data center. The detectives must race the clock to discover the identity of the criminal mastermind and the final plan for the weapon, but not everything, or everyone, appear as they seem.

Travel with the team in their seventh exciting and thrilling case as they set off to apprehend the bad guys by any means necessary. Hold on to your seat.
