A demonic being is haunting a young woman. A little girl speaks to a war veteran through his radio. An ancient pharaoh is reaping people’s souls. Mr. Pall, Sam’s Old Philco and Blood Bees, plus three other stories are included in this short story collection. (Includes the previously published stories Opopanax Lighthouse, First Gold and Penelope’s Vines.)
It was definitely a spine chilling read sometimes. I liked the overall compact effect it has on me. Because some of the stories were so nerve tickling that it kept me at the edge of my seat. Personally I liked the little girl's story the most. I enjoyed reading this and I'd like to recommend this to horror book lovers. Thank you.
Not a bad read. I really liked a couple of the stories. A few were kind of cheesy. It's a great book for beach reading or during a flight. You don't need to give the book your full attention, due to the different stories.
Six scary stories,---ghosts, pharaohs, killer bees, vines, and something for everyone. Not terrifying, mostly creepy. I would recommend this book for an enjoyable Halloween read.
