PLAYING WITH DESIRE is the first in Reese Ryan's Pleasure Cove series, and is about Liam Westbrook and Maya Alvarez. Liam and Maya meet by chance and agree to one hot night together of dancing, and maybe a bit more. Liam's been burned badly by what he sees as his long-time girlfriend's betrayal, and he guards his heart fiercely now. Maya is a single mom, and her heart and focus are fully on her beautiful daughters, but with them out of town with their father for the summer, she feels a little free to recall the woman she still is inside.
Reese Ryan's story is emotional and moving and hot. Liam and Maya both have some growing to do and some changes to make before they are ready to be a partner to the other. Liam especially is hung up on his past heartbreak, and it is great that Maya doesn't hold back from calling him out on this.
Playing with Desire is ultimately a deliciously satisfying read, and I look forward to the rest of this series!

PLAYING WITH TEMPTATION is the second in Reese Ryan's Pleasure Cove series. Star wide receiver Nate Johnston unwisely releases some post-game frustration in a video that unfortunately goes viral, and realizes that his brother is right when he enlists media consultant Kendra Williams to help him weather the resulting storm. Kendra is not just an incredibly savvy PR professional though. She's also the mother of his son and the one who got away.
Reese Ryan does an excellent job with this second-chance story. Even though Kendra's reluctant to even try because of the damage her broken relationship with her father has left, she and Nate are compelling characters and it is easy to see both the strong chemistry that has never abated and the care and caution they both bring to the table. Nate and Kendra definitely have a lot to work through, and it isn't a quick fix. We readers cheer all the way for them to find their way to a win-win!

Best friends for years as teens, their friendship dissolves when Dash dates and then breaks up with Mikayla's sister Jess. When Maddie begins asking about her father, Mikayla realizes it is long overdue to introduce Dash to the daughter he didn't know he had.
Reese Ryan's story is full of heart and emotion, and Maddie captures her newfound family's hearts as well as ours, and we eagerly rejoice when Mick and Dash find their way to a happy future for all of them.

PLAYING WITH SEDUCTION is the third full-length story in Reese Ryan's delicious Pleasure Cove series. In it, professional volleyball player Brianna Evans and premier event promoter Wesley Adams are tagged by a mutual friend to work together on a high-profile tournament that would help launch the Pleasure Cove luxury hotel and benefit their businesses as well. They'll have to put aside their personal discomfort from Wes and Bree's previous meeting in London, when Wes's determination to stay attachment free ended up creating hurt feelings and tension of the not-good variety.
Reese Ryan's writing is warm and her characters captivating. Readers will get glimpses of Liam and Maya from the first in the series, and enjoy getting to know Wes's mother and brother as well. Playing with Seduction is a terrific read, and a great conclusion to this series.
