Monty seems like any other customer I've waited on at the diner. The golden boy smiles easily, disarming me with his casual charm. There's no way to know he's on an insane quest.
Not until I awake hog-tied in the back seat of his car.
My only goal is to survive this maniac. Monty's goals prove more complicated. Violence, shameful desires, and madness tear me down bit by bit. Soon, Monty becomes more than my terrifying captor. He is my only truth.
Can I survive my big bad handsome man?
***Big Bad Handsome Man is a standalone dark romantic thriller with themes of kidnapping, captivity, and BDSM scenes. With violence, sexual situations, and harsh language, this book is for readers 18+. No cheating or cliffhangers. ***
I'm a fan of darker books so I was intrigued with the description and liked this story well enough. As far as the level of darkness, it's pretty tame compared to other books I've read with similar storylines.
Monty is indeed crazy and it doesn't take too long before his craziness rubs off on Charley. Neither of these two characters had perfect childhoods, so they seem to even the other out without even realizing that's what's happening.
This was a short dark quick read that I wished was longer. Charley works at a diner when she meets a good looking guy Monty that she flirts with and the next thing she knows she is tied up in the trunk of his car thinking of ways to survive. This was a good read it had some hot scenes in it. Monty is crazy he was truly dark and Charley falls for him hook line and sinker. This was my first time reading this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling I am looking forward to reading more from this author.
