Aside from the poor editing and writing style and the copious amounts of unnecessary sections and subsections throughout, this book made me nervous as the author seemed to suggest Biblical truths in roundabout or confusing ways rather than by simply stating them. I found too often that I would say to myself, "I think what he means is..." or "I think what he's trying to say is..." which left me with little confidence that he did in fact mean what I thought he meant. I think parts of this book could be misconstrued and used by "wolves in sheep's clothing" to mislead people. Readers be alert and test these things like the Bereans did in the Bible.

This book has absolutely changed the way I view prayer. This is my second time through and I’m still learning from it. Much of what he poses is uncomfortable - especially for those that grew up in a very conservative church. Even though it is a bit awkward at first to pray the way he proposes, I definitely believe it to be biblical. Jersak has rooted all of what he has to say firmly in scripture. It has been challenging to my prayer life and even the limitations I unknowingly put on Gods power.
