Key Benefit: This full-color laboratory manual is designed for those who teach a two-semester introductory anatomy & physiology course, but do not require the full range of laboratory exercises found in Marieb's best-selling Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab Manuals (Cat, Fetal Pig, and Main). Though this lab manual can be used with any two-semester book, it will be most effectively used with Marieb's Anatomy & Physiology, Fourth Edition. Readers will find 27 concise, activity-based lab exercises that explore basic concepts in anatomy & physiology. For those who want their readers to experience using a microscope, a complete exercise on its use and care can be found in Appendix A. Each lab is presented with learning objectives, cogent summaries of key concepts, and meaningful activities that build readers' observational and laboratory skills. Review sheets are now integrated to conveniently follow each lab exercise. The lab manual also features a full-color, extensive Histology Atlas.
Did I really read this whole entire book and obtain all of the much needed information??? No. But, I definitely finished my Summer Anatomy 1 Community College Class!
This textbook was extremely interesting. Easy? Not at all! But only because of the sheer amount of information that it covers. There is so much information in this book that it’s daunting. But if you pace yourself through it which my A&P class did, it’s manageable. Mostly :) There are a lot of figures and tables to help illustrate the narration of how our body works and everything in it. I enjoyed the overall topic and had my favorite sections, but the whole book is a fantastic reference for anyone learning about Anatomy and Physiology.
